How did you find these other links.

And if they are legit why isn't the Halo3 website linking to them?

Something seems a little weird here.....

Awesome registered, does anyone know anymore about this registration because it never asks for your gamertag. So are they mailing people demo discs or what?

Your passport should be registered to your Gamertag. If you did it right.

For those who are lazy, HBO claims that signing up through the website we all used simply puts you into the POOL of participants who are eligible to beta test, it does not guarantee you anything. Take that as you will. Granted, they state that its from their "forums", but HBO is usually pretty good about this stuff.
And at NeoGAF, Stinkles who works for Microsoft said

"Here's the deal - that site is legit - I don't know if it's collating the info yet because it's not live to the public, so my advice is to wait til the real one goes live and ignore that one. And it's not 1st come 1st served so don't panic. Details will be fleshed out in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned.

The bottom line is that there will be more ways to enter the beta, and everyone who really wants to do it can probably find a way. Don't let the limitations of this first wave fill you with fear. Everything will be lovely.

And the thing will be worldwide. It's possible there will be the odd weird exception, like Fake-istan, or whatever, but the plan is to do it wherever possible."

.
and for all the folks looking for ways around the age restriction, my guess is, there'll be some testing for that, as well, down the road.
fuck!

Yea thats what I always thought. I hope I get picked though.

I can see it now.

"You are bidding on a one of a kind auction! Get to play Halo 3 before anyone else! Only a few lucky people outside of Microsoft will have this rare honor. BIN at only $1500! Upon receiving payment, I will email you the code and the password to my Gamertag!"

I made it until after you submit registration, then I got a nearly all white screen with "©2006 Microsoft Corporation. All Rights Reserved." and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Is that a good thing?

Go through it again.

This time it should take you to a page where you put in your name/address/etc.

The site is getting rocked.

If I don't get in, it'll probably save me some embarrassment. I've played the original Halo for probably four hours total, and 90% of that was on PC. I've never even touched Halo 2.

what i meant was i got past that part, the screen came up after i chose submit registration

Yeah, sorry about that.

The same thing just happened to me.

Attempting... I've had MS certificates come up bad lately, I think they just didn't pay the verification. I got one of those screens on xbox.com recently.
