GF and I 6 Month Anniversary Suggestions
Its me and my girlfriends 6 month anniversary on monday and I think i should get/do something special. We're already going out to Red Lobster (she's paying! :0) and me doing nice things like buying flowers and shit is already standard fair in our relation ship, so I'm not quite sure on what to do. HELP!
Is this before or AFTER the movie?...
Maybe to you they don't, but you can't assume your views apply to everyone.
You're absolutely right but the point I'm getting at, like others have mentioned, is that if you make a big deal out of the 6 month anniversary then she'll expect an even bigger deal for the 1 year, so on and so forth...
I say propose when the panda's are getting busy :)
I took her to the zoo once and the lions starting going at it as soon as we walked up. Kinda funny.

you should have said "YOU GO BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
and cheered the male lion on!!
am i the only one who noticed, his name is pielover, maybe he could love some pie on the anniversary?
"We'll just tell your mother that... we ate it all."

6 months is kind of early for a promise ring but if you decided to do that i would suggest a claddagh ring.... it's the promise ring my hubby gave me the first time he came back from the military about a year before he proposed.

i liked the story behind it and all and really they arent very expensive lots of plain old sliver shops sell them and you can get them on ebay at a good price.... it can be as cheap as you want it to be.

this place sells more expensive ones but it gives you a good idea of the styles out there cheapest on this site appears to be plain gold for 64... that is a decent price for a gold one... i think hubby payed like 90 bucks for mine thatlooks very similar.

I second the claddaugh ring suggestion. Lots of meaning behind it and it shouldn't be too hard to pick one up for a reasonable amount of money. (I bought a sterling silver claddaugh ring for all of $11 on vacation in New Hampshire two years ago. I wear it everyday and it still looks brand new.)

Yes, that is probably generally true, but not always. ;) If it were me, I'd expect it to be atleast the same as the 6 month, but not less.

Just don't let yourself get whipped by her. I've seen too many of my friends go down that road. One friend in particular right now has gotten so wrapped up in his girlfriend that we only see him about once every 1-2 months anymore.

not always = 5 to 10% of the time. seriously, no reason to go all out at 6 months.
She might even find it a bit weird.

Give her a closet's full of new clothes..

[seriously..fashion is like the best gift ever]

Actually, not giving her a closet full of new clothes..but....then take her out shopping to a ritzy mall...then take her to dinner...then take her to a play or a concert or a nice movie theatre..it's pricey but it'll be FUN

and if she's a good girlfriend, she'll want you in the dressing room with her = )

My six month was mutually agreed upon, and I thought it was sweet. But what do I know, I'm just a girl in a relationship going on 4yrs.
Do something totally crazy and random, like sneaking into a park after hours with a box of takeout food and a bottle of wine.
nothing like getting arrested half naked while your girls trying to tickle your balls...

my wife and i just realized we missed our 8 year anniversary back on the 5th....talk about dodging the bullet, thank god she was worrying about getting a job then otherwise i wouldnt hear the end of it

if you both forgot its fair game... good thing shes not pullin the "i remebered but was waiting for you to remebeR"

agreed...we had a good laugh about it...it just shows me how much was on her mind since it was very unlike her to forget...but not unlike me;)

anyways back to subject you can pick up a quality pocket rocket cheap at your local adult store. Your relationship will be through the roof... for a while anyways
