Yeah, iTunes doesn't bother me for gaming. I mean you don't even really have to use it since you just download directly from the App store to your device.
I'm just not much of a fan of touch screen controls for anything other than simple games like Angry Birds or Scrabble etc. where it makes sense. I can't stand the games where you have a simulated joystick on the touch screen etc.
Yep, I completely agree. I am not a fan of virtual joysticks. I much prefer a game that tries to adapt it's controls/gameplay to the device it is on, rather than trying to recreate another console virtually.
I'm talking about the fact that you don't own the games you buy and that saves are erased for apps when backed up to iTunes. There's no excuse for saves to only be tied to that instance of the app on my Touch. Either have cloud saves or separate the saves from the apps.
I had to restore my Touch when it was filled with over 4 GBs of garbage data due to synching and now I'm starting over in every game, except for the brilliantly-designed Flight Control.
Ah, that does sound like a problem. Luckily I've never had to deal with it though. I was talking more about the interface, store, and the way it is all set up, which encourages good, simple, cheap games.
I

ing hate iTunes.
Devil's program, that one.
Windows version anyway.
I've always used iTunes on my Windows PCs and never have had any real issues with it. But I'm also not trying to do anything special with it either other than store my music/apps and buy stuff, and then sync it all to my iPod.
