My experience of Hugo Weaving in major films was:

Matrix Trilogy
LOTR Trilogy
V for Vendetta

Considering most of the rest of his IMDB listing for appearances is either (1) for characters in that list above, (2) for shorts or TV appearances I haven't seen, (3) for works like Transformers (as Megatron), Babe: Pig in the City, and Happy Feet, (4) films I've never heard of, I'm going to say my experience with him is limited to the 3 movies listed above.

In fact, since the Matrix, Keanu has pretty much stayed Neo in everything and Laurence Fishburne has only just somehow shed the skin of Morpheus.
That's so sad! Youshould see his other films! The Adventures of Priscella, Queen of the Desert is one of the best filsm of all time! And it has Terrence Stamp, one of the other greatest actors on earth!
It's not that I think Captain America will suck, I'm just not as interested in him or that movie as much as the rest.
Ok=hh okay, I can see your point there. :)
Got the Thor DVD yesterday, Laptops stuck at the work tent though.
Wow, you're like the 20th person I know that's over there and got Thor yesterday. Ballin', mang
:DThose must be neat conversations...

Fixed for truth.

Hipster hos love a man that wears makeup from time to time and is completely secure in his sexuality.

I'm probably more excited to see Cap than the others - mostly because of Brubaker's run getting me excited about Cap again for the first time since I was a kid and Mark Gruenwald was writing.

X-Men, I really hated the aesthetic of the first three and Wolverine and this looks like it continues that. Should have just rebooted completely.

I just like Captain America... never been a big fan of him but his Ultimates do over made me love the character.

Just glad the film is more WWII focused. Thor I can't give two shits about... same for Green Lantern...

then again I have no idea WTF movies are coming out this summer... time to educate myself.

Been years since I've sat down to read a comic... I need to find a good one though.

The only one I care to catch up on the is The Goon... I wonder if its still as good as the original stuff I still have?

I use to read Punisher MAX but the stories started to go nowhere. The first few stories were superb though. Garth Ennis
Out of all the superhero movies coming out this summer, Captain America is my least anticipated one.

Does the contract w/ your Nipponese masters dictate you have to hate America?

I want to see both the Thor and Captian America movies, but I'm not sure when. Maybe I can convince my sister to see Thor when I'm visiting next week for graduation although there isn't a movie theater all that close to her college campus so that might be difficult. If not I'll probably try and see it the weekend after.

Got Castlevania: Harmony of Despair since it was on sale, I'm actually kind of liking it a lot, there is something strangely addicting about it. I also bought the extra character Maria Renard... and she is totally awesome, so much fun to just unleash animals to kill enemies, haha (although I wish it had been Symphony of the Night Maria and not the young Rondo of Blood version). If anyone has the game or ends up getting it and wants to play multiplayer together I'd be down. :D

Am I not allowed to be uninterested in a movie because I think it looks boring? While it may turn out to be great, and I will eventually see it, the WWII settings just don't seem as existing as something taking place during modern times.

Oh, come on...

I'm just messing with you.

I can understand not caring about the WW2 setting. I flat out refuse to play WW2 FPS games.

Captain America Thor and Green Lantern all look boring to me. I don't read comics but those have always struck me as dull ass superheroes i don't about

And lol @ another x-men movie
I'd take a superhero movie over any other kind of movie to watch. Besides Harry Potter, LOTR, and Star Wars that is.
I don't know why, but the harry potter movies never clicked with me despite absolutely loving the books. LOTR on the other hand, I enjoy the movies more I think.

X-Men FC looked bad from the trailer.

And Green Latrine looks like poop simply from the Hal Jordan characterization from trailers. But I still want to see it, if only to see the Corps on the big screen

No, it's the way WWII FPS are made that is overdone. The subject still has so much potential but sadly people believe everyone is tired of the era.

If every title wasn't you with a squad of guys named Baker, Jenkins, some tough guy drill sergeant and revolved around the story of some guy from Idaho who misses his mom's apple pies on the ranch -- and the gameplay wasn't the same old "20 seconds!!!!! 10 seconds!!! GO GO GO GO LOOK IT'S LIKE SAVING PRIVATE RYAN" or weak attempts to make emotional battles even though you're a one man army killing Nazi's that run around explosive barrels and shout a total of 1-3 different lines throughout the entire game -- then MAYBE people would actually be willing to give WWII games another shot.

You could make a fucking masterpiece if you had the set pieces that current gen games have (like Uncharted), the cinematic effects, and a mature narrative.

So much potential, really.

I'm really thinking it's going to be like Wolverine all over again though and just be filled to the brim with stupid shit (like the whole Havok being Cyclops' dad).

I'm dying for someone to try and make a WW2 game based on the Eastern Front with campaigns for both the Russians and the Germans.

German campaign goes chronologically. Easy to hard, starting with the advance through the Ukraine, towards Moscow, onto Stalingrad, at Kursk, back to the West, into Germany, and finally as a ~14 year old kid fighting and ultimately dying on the streets of Berlin.

Russian campaign is in reverse chronological order. Easy to hard, starting in Berlin and eventually trading thousands of lives for time across the Soviet steppe in the summer of 1941.

It'll never happen. They either include the full measure of both sides' atrocities and get called out for it, or gloss over the massacres and brutal hatred and get crucified for whitewashing.

I'm pretty meh on the Garth Ennis stuff, I hate all of it except the Boys. It's almost always just him writing shit that is ridiculously violent that sounds like it's supposed to be offensive to someone and having Steve Dillion draw it (such a shitty artist..). I love the Authority! Midnighter and Apollo are probably one of my most favorite character relationships ever, they're so sweet to each other it just makes me go awwwww.
I do love the boys. The first couple arcs on it were fantastic. I need to catch up on that someday. I do agree on Ennis though. A lot of times his stories are very standard over the top violence.

I want to make a Vietnam game where you get to mash people with Napalm and get to see shit like people raping the women and killing the kids while the US forces destroy villages. I really wanted Black-Ops to be that game and was very sad that it was not.

Have you watched them all or just the first few released?

I've seen them all. I did like Deathly Hallows Pt 1. That might be because I've only read book 7 once though.
Have you watched them all or just the first few released?
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince sucked.

When Dumbledore dies, it wasn't even sad.

I actually really loved that one. Prisoner of Azkaban is the best out of them all, though.
I really don't think Dumbledore's death was supposed to be sad. I wasn't sad when it happened in the books.

Order of the Phoenix is the one that sucked balls. It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen, it's all the worse for being terribly forgettable and making me watch it 3 times because I keep forgetting whether or not I've seen it.

OoP is definitely the worst of the HP films. The rest, I've felt, are pretty good representations of the major parts of the story.

I was so glad HBP was a pretty damn good representation of the book (IMO) because I felt like there might be no way for the franchise to recover after the horror of OoP. DH pt. 1 was decent, but I didn't like the Director's use of shaky/low budget cam to give it "that gritty on the run" feel or whatever he was going for.

I just dislike HP as a character. All he does in every book is go around and ask questions and get put into a bunch of random shenanigans.

And Ron, after all these fucking years, is still written like a 10 year old brat. But I guess that's who he is.

I feel the same about Ron, I got so pissed off at him in Deathly Hallows. Dude's a little whiny bitch the entire movie.

I'm gonna start working on a GGT dubstep mix. Recordings for samples start tonight

EDIT:
Real talk, the new Moving Mountains album is fucking incredible. Great post-rock band with awesome vocals. I have to plug this shit everywhere. I should be fucking paid for all the plugs I've made.

if you don't like it, you're probably soulless.

I think it's because Chamber of Secrets has always been my least favorite book, but I hated the movie too. I thought Deathly Hallows pt. 1 was really well done as far as keeping as much content closely related to the book. Although I liked PoA as well, it was the least close to the book so far, kinda sad since Sirius is such an awesome character.

Insanity on ME2 is...not enjoyable in the slightest. Each Mission feels like it takes an hour and a half, maybe more; and I'm only on a simple recruitment Mission. I really find it hard to believe some of the stuff designers get away with nowadays.

More Gears 3 Beta. Enjoying it, but I've seemingly hit a brick. I should probably go to King of the Hill so I can get more/easier kills.

You have the choice of what difficulty, so it's kind of irrelevant.

I mean, cover based shooting with rechargeable health is always going to be retarded design on high difficulties.

ME2 shines on difficulties that aren't Insanity.
Nah I gave it a shot, it's quite good. I'm in love with Toe right now though in terms of post-rock

the drums are like a summer breeze :-({|=
WTF is "post-rock"?
Good music, generally :)

Seriously though, wiki gives a decent enough description:
Post-rock is a subgenre of alternative rock and progressive rock[1] characterized by the use of instruments commonly associated with rock music, but using rhythms and "guitars as facilitators of timbre and textures" not traditionally found in rock. Post-rock musicians typically produce instrumental music

I enjoy it on insanity, but it is definitely nearly impossible to get anything done. I think on my first run through I was more into the story, but playing through on insanity is more about the difficulty. Like someone else said, if you aren't enjoying it you can always turn the difficulty down at any time.
