Wynne was like bizarro-Kreia from Knights of the Old Republic 2. Always going on about some philosophical bullshit and wanting me to be all, "Wow, old person, you're so wise!"
Had some good banter with Alistair, though.
YES! Man, they really had me cracking up when she kept telling Alistair she wanted to
If it helps any, this is my last GGT for 2.5-3 months.
Also, Joel, wanna know one of the absolute worst things about DA2, that you probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't told you?
Walk around Kirkwall and find a group of NPCs standing around. Not, like, merchants, but just people hanging around the edges of pathways to add "clutter" to the map. Zoom in on their faces.

NOOO! Don't leave da GGT! I need you!
I looked at them yesterday, why the are they so ugly? I realize everyone certainly cannot be pretty, but WHAT THE FUUUUCK.

Don't worry, I'll come back from my sidequest with a whole bunch of EXP and gold. I'll see if I can't find another party member, too. Gotta be someone around who can pick locks.

Even at the highest settings on PC, they look like that. First time I saw it, I though "Ocarina of Time"?

Good! Hopefully your return will also be full of amazing achievements and not be a prequel.
Why would they look like that? Is it supposed to be a joke?
I helped a friend install a laminate floor in another friend's house on Friday and Saturday. Worked from noon to 10:30 PM on Friday, 8 AM to 9 PM on Saturday. Then I split a bottle of Patron on Saturday night and got twisted. Sunday, I spent hanging out with a ton of friends and driving all over the damn place.
Finished up LA Noire today. Those last few chapters were some of the most entertaining of any game I've played. I get the feeling a lot of people will hate them though. Either way, I loved it. I'd rank the game as one of my favorites this gen. This was the kind of game that keeps me interested in gaming.
Happy Memorial Day, y'all.

I was trying to pitch a tent in the woods, I remember, but I'd lost all of my clothes. I went to find my friends to see if they knew where my clothes were, but they were all sitting at a picnic table drinking powerthirst
So I went back to my tent and started hollowing out rotten logs to use as pants. Unfortunately, you can't really make proper joints out of hollow logs, so when I put them on, they were very uncomfortable.
Happy ending to that dream, though: I found a wandering t-shirt salesman with one t-shirt left. Score!
Goozex switching to free trades until May caused me to spend way too many points on Goldeneye, and Dead to Rights was from the Blockbuster sale. Figure I should finish some stuff this week before the E3/Infamous/Child of Eden/Alice pile-on of the next few weeks.
Hmm. Strangest dream I can remember:

When you brought up the log pants I could just imagine your bottom half looking like Mokujin from Tekken.
I bought the Sly Collection for $15 at Target. Gotta give my PS Move a workout
LOLOLOLOLOL
How is Bioshock Unlimited Un-American? We haven't even seen the full product yet. This is Resident Evil 5 level shit. Good thing Nintendo was smart enough to avoid controversy until they released their games. The next person who says a game is controversial and hates it because it's controversial I'm going 1900's on their asses!
MW2 is so much more fun than Black Ops.
You know it. We did one bathroom, kitchen, living room, and hallway, all the same flooring. It looks pretty pimp.
Pic is near the end, only the living room to go.
But seriously, I need a regular job. Money is pretty cool. Too bad there are almost no jobs here, and I'm not flipping burgers.
Probably just going to start my own business or something.
Wood laminate? Looks nice.
I'm looking forward to this.
Started LA Noire. This game is not easy
If you're talking about interrogating people, you'll get better at it. At first I found it hard, but by the end I was able to read people almost 100% of the time.
Yeah, it's wood laminate. Not hardwood expensive, but leagues better than vinyl shit.
It was like, $2 a square foot, dude got a deal IMO. We used just under 470 square feet, so that's roughly $1000 to do most of friend's bro's house. Shit replaces some pissed on nasty ass carpet, dude loves the new floor.

I haven't seen you playing the game I sent you yet.
Wood floor looks classy, too.
Yes it is, very classy.
It's funny, I've worked with him a bunch of times over the years, tearing out floors and installing them. We usually tear out carpet and replace it with laminate because it's way cheaper than hardwood flooring and doesn't look like ass like vinyl. And sometimes you'll tear up the shitty stained up cheap carpet in an older house and find hardwood underneath it. Back when carpet was expensive and the cool thing to have, people would just cover up their hardwood floors with carpet like dumbasses.
If you tear up your carpet and find nice hardwood underneath it, it's great. Don't even have to do shit then, just refinish it.

I prefer Black Ops myself. MW2 had too many glitches that took ages to get patched, and it was annoying always getting killed by helicopters etc. That's much less prevalent in Black Ops since the Killstreak Kills don't count toward earning your next Killstreak. And the Nukes were annoying as it made it possible for teams to win objective games without even trying to do the objectives.
CoD 4 is still my favorite in the series though.
Yep, it's the only one I still have and would be willing to play from time to time. MW2 just added too much stuff. I haven't bought BLOPS though and don't intend to, so I can't exactly say much on it. I just tend to stay away from Treyarch games though after their past efforts.
Dead Space Extraction had a story that was way more fun and interesting to me than DS and DS2....I just wish the gameplay had been less boring.
I love the part where you
cut off your own hand.

Yeah I knew about it but I just really enjoyed the whole story, with the shifting viewpoints and everything. It felt horror movie-ish, and I actually wondered which characters would live/die and was concerned for them even if they were all one-note. It was way closer to a horror feel than the main series has ever hit.

I completely agree with you on that. I love the main series, but it was not nearly as scary/horror-like as Extraction. I wonder how much the on-rails part actually adds to that.
