So Borderlands: World War 2 Edition from Gearbox in the guise of a Brothers in Arms game? I'll take it.

Honestly though, I'd buy these Ubisoft flashback games more than the HD counterparts.
Seriously? They really announced a new Borderlands?

Nope, it was Brother in Arms, but with an Inglorious Basterds theme and vaguely Borderlands styled characters.

Still sounds good to me! Bet that's what Anthony Burch was working on.

Edit: My fiancee saw a video of all the kinect games and immediately went and bought a Kinect. Wow, I did not think it was that big of a deal.

If that doesn't scream "DUMP MY ASS!" I don't know what does.

The fact that she might be his fem-twin?
j/k Joel. ;)

That sounds awesome. I need to look up this trailer.
Would you like to play it with me
Mayhap I would good sir.

What weapons should I upgrade in Dead Nation?

Assault rifle, first and foremost.
Shotgun is good.
Mines, Grenades, Flares are good.

Later on, rocket launcher and electrogun are good.

What he said. Assault rifle is awesome when fully upgraded and I used it a lot more than I originally thought I would. The shocker (electrogun as frosty put it) was my favorite later on.

I'm really glad I got LBP for PSP with the free stuff. This will be lots of fun at school.

Well...:

Uncharted 3 - Looks killer, basically Uncharted 2 with even more impressive set pieces, hardly a bad thing. Too early to be sick of IMO.
Dust 514 - Looks nuts, combining with the Eve universe is just too awesome
Sly 4 - never really played these, can't say I'm expecting it to be bad though
Starhawk - I like the concept the CG trailer presented, look forward to more
Star Trek -- Looks flat out bad
Uncharted Vita -- Unimpressive showing, hopefully will be better but I assume it's another case of "lol it's good because it's on a handheld, right?"
SFxTekken -- Looked messy imo
3D TV bundle -- That a very affordable price, reviews first though..
Medieval Move game -- boooooo
Ruin -- meh
Resistance 3 -- about as impressive as Gears =[
Bioshock -- Do want
NBA 2K12 -- Good showing with Kobe, could care less about the Move

Also, the price for the Vita is too good to be true.

Solid showing, obviously a lot of missing games that are more suited to TGS (Ace Combat, FF franchise, Team ICO, etc...). Perhaps Nintendo can still top it with a big announcement though.

I'm shocked Street Fighter Third Strike is coming this summer. I'll get it day 1 and on PS3 like usual. I'm not a 360 person I only use it for exclusives anymore. I still need to buy Arcana Heart 3 someday.
I just want to see some games I didn't already know about.
But I hadn't heard anything about the Star Wars Kinect game or the Disney kinect game.
I just want to see some games I didn't already know about.
This for reals. Only things I'm happy to see so far are Sly 4 and the Halo CE remake (although that was all but confirmed). Halo 4 is cool I guess but I can't really get hype on it yet considering we'll probably see very little for a long time.

The exclusive character in SFxT is lame, PS Vita looks stupid (can't believe someone above said that the price is "too good to be true"), too much Kinect. Can't believe I'm even saying this but I hope somehow Nintendo blows me out of the water.

What's their to hate about the Vita aside from cheap attempts at developers at making gimmicky launch titles?

I'm excited about the future for it and the inevitable 2nd model.

I wish I could be more excited about the future for it, but the PSP hasn't done much for me to give its successor the benefit of the doubt.

Right now the NGP just looks to have a bunch of games I'd rather play on consoles.

Yeah I'm giving it a year or so before I actually jump on it. Its online capabilities and control features make it vastly more plausible as a killer handheld compared to the PSP, and if developers really get on board with it (and the current attitude seems promising), then we'll see the usual good stuff from them.

Just saying that the hardware and current pricing are definitely things to feel good about. Launch titles have always been launch titles.

ihadFG sums up my opinion as well.

I don't give two shits about Sly 4, didn't care for parts 1 through 3, didn't finish them though. So unless they became amazing, don't care.

Worst thing about Halo 4 is it being billed as the beginning of a new trilogy. Yes, 3 new Halos not made by Bungie, cannot wait, whoo hoo.

Cole is a lame, boring character. Hope he's not just a PSV version exclusive character. 360 version should get Cole from Gears of War. I'm in the zone, baybee!

PS Vita is PSP2 essentially, so it'll have some decent games, and a whole ton of console ports that I'd rather play on a console. Hardware looks solid and has potential. Rather buy one over a 3DS.

And agreed on Nintendo. ^__^

Yeah, I really do hope it turns out to be good. It definitely has more potential then the PSP did. I just hope they can make some games for it that don't require the qualifier of being good "for a handheld game."

That's been a big issue I felt the PSP faced more than the DS. It had much better visuals so developers felt the need to port PS2 games in a dumbed down fashion, instead of being creative.

Just because you're on a bus doesn't mean you have to play a game like Resistance Retribution which is a trash compared to games you've played at home. Games tailored to the portable experience will always be better (that and remade classics, of course).

God of War, Crisis Core, Dissidia, Persona 3, Loco Rocos, Patapons, Half-Minute Hero, Kingdom Hearts, GTA Chinatown -- games off the top of my head that either really match the console experience, or bring well implemented designs that make you actually appreciate the fact they are on handheld and not elsewhere.

I agree on those except for God of War. When I played the God of War PSP games, all I could think was "I wish I was playing this on my PS3 instead."

Yeah, I'm pretty sick of them now too. It's just that if I'm gonna play 'em, I'd like to 1. be able to see what's going on, and 2. control it well.

You two bought a 3DS when it came out and you'll buy Vita when it comes out too.

You know me too well, I'm a sucker.

Although to be honest, I mainly bought a 3DS because of how great the DS is and I expect the 3DS to get some good games as well. The promise of a new Professor Layton game alone would have sold me on the 3DS though.

I was actually just kidding, but at least you're not a hypocrite! You just back out of challenges!

Did I literally make-up / dream that Capcom announced they are re-releaseing the DMC trilogy on 360 & PS3? I'm thinking I did since I don't see anything about it.

:whistle2:(
Well the thing about that is you can wait to buy it while waiting for the games!!

uguuh
I would have ended up buying one before a price drop anyway. And I don't regret getting a 3DS, considering how much I enjoyed Shadow Wars.
Ono?
She'll be saying Ono.

He'll be saying OH YES!!

Amen on this, bro.

110%
You guys bought 3DS at launch?

:whistle2:|

Where was the logic then?
There is no logic there.

Point and laugh freely. :bouncy:

One has backwards compatibility with physical media from it's previous iteration, the other does not...
