Has something been announced that I would want to play on a smaller screen that I can't play almost the same thing of on my TV at home?

NGP is PS Vita, retails for $150, can play your entire PS3 and PSP library.

Kinect is discontinued, Microsoft pulling a mullgan on that bitch.

Rise To Honor 2 starring Tony Jaa unveiled, looks stunning.

Alan Wake 2 and 3 announced, part 2 will be a prequel, 3 set 20 years in the future.

God of War 4 looks tight.

Did I miss anything?

Fuuuuuu- that's a HUGE image, but a good summary.

I don't know, has there?

All I know of is SFxT (which I would probably never play on a handheld (if I even end up getting it on any console)) and Uncharted which you can play plenty of without a PSVita.

Fantastic, how about the 3DS now? I can pull the same thing you just did with most of the names you'll probably name. ^_^
When I'm not at home, I'm not looking to play a game. :nottalking:

Enjoy the world around you. ^__^
R U talkin' 'bout womenz?
Wipeout looked good enough to stand on it's own. And certainly the point of handhelds is not being home.
I take public transit to work everyday and rarely find time to play a portable game console, and the PSP was (and it's successor looks the same) to have a lot of games which aren't pick up and play for very short periods, which means they are fairly worthless for a 20 minute commute.

I honestly don't have much, but my hope is that the 3DS will continue to get similar stuff to what the DS had (namely RPGs from ATLUS)... maybe the next Phoenix Wright games (which will hopefully come to America). Plus I could play the Pokemanz ONLINE!

I make steady progress in P3P social links during my 15 min commute. And I've been finding Dissidia very fun for short bursts lately.

I usually prefer listening to music and zoning out though.

Ya exactly, personally I like reading; it's just with something like P3P (and any other RPG or longer form type of game) I wouldn't hit my stride and get really into the game for like 15 minutes and then I have 5 minutes where I'm really into it and then have to shut it off.

Yeah I agree there's not much as of now, but based on the DS, I'm guessing the games will come. For now, the main games known so far on 3DS that I can't get better versions of on consoles are Ghost Recon Shadow Wars, SMT: DS Overclocked, Professor Layton 4, Phoenix Wright and Professor Layton crossover (I really hope this gets an English release), and possibly Kid Icarus. I'm also looking forward to Ocarina of Time 3D since it looks like it could be the best version of the game and I've only played it once before.

Also, I tend to like RPGs on portables when at home. So both the PSP and the DS have had a good amount of those. I'm hoping the Vita and 3DS will continue that trend.

Same, they can be fun to play through right before I pass out at night, they also make good laundromat games since I'm usually in there for like an hour and half.

Yup, that's when I like to play them too.

Oh I just pleasantly surprised myself. Full trailer of XIII-2.

- Some quicktime finishers for boss fights, apparently
- Snow's crew seems to be much more involved in this game, but where's Snow?
- Soundtrack sounds great, very Masahi Hamauzu like (he did some stuff in FFX, you'll probably hear the similarities)
- Lightning is playable, eventually :bouncy:
- No Vanille in a g-string, perhaps her and Fang aren't coming back =[
- Combat looks very similar, some new mechanics of engagement though
- Some odd platform segments [MINI GAMES!]

I dunno about Vita...Portable Uncharted is soooo tempting though.

I want that 24" 3D gamer TV...hellz yah!

Star Wars Kinect sounds positively nerd-tastic. I want. :p
I agree on those except for God of War. When I played the God of War PSP games, all I could think was "I wish I was playing this on my PS3 instead."
I love my GoW -- and now that the 2 PSP games I've never played are coming to PS3, remastered with trophy support... I'm glad I never bought a PSP.

I am glad, however, that I milked Sony for all 4 titles available to "psp owners", as I recall seeing that Vita should have full BC support for PSP downloadable titles. Hopefully this applies to PSX titles and Minis that work on PSP now as well.

I'm trying hard not too watch too much Uncharted 3 stuff--it always feels like I'm getting spoilerized by getting into the hype...

At least it was good footage, and not "hi this is MW3, we'll show you why you should skip the single player again."

---

Not sure about the NG3 gameplay footage...something about the camera zoom ins for the the quick time gutting occurring every other second seems annoying.

I completely agree. That really threw me off.

Yeah, I hate it when that happens. I feel like I know almost everything before I play a game. No surprises.

Yeah, that was some weird shit. Still hoping it's good.

It makes me sad because you can easily see how badass and fluid it would feel if the camera didnt zoom in for it (and a quicktime button didn't cover the entire thing).

Just surgically raping a group of enemies, ugh, would be so cool.

I think I'll email Team Ninja.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That's why for games I know I'm gonna buy, I tend to avoid watching any previews (or at least I try to). E3 is really the only time when I kind of stray from that.

Damn Mario and him plugging leaks for Nintendo. We know so much yet nothing at all. A CONUNDRUM!

Nintendo wins E3 by sheer will of mystery.
They got a Contra re-make coming. I can't wait to see how they'll fuck it up.

They'll probably make Gears.

Still not as good as Japan's CE

Curious why they keep doing the HD rereleases on separate discs in Japan.
