I only wish they had non-epic editions, that cover fucking sucks.

I guess they used up all the awesome designing the game. They didn't have any left over for the Epic Edition cover.
I've seen another cover for the non-epic edition. It's got main dude whose name I forget kicking and leashing.

How dare you forget Grayson's name. Ishi will kill you.
How dare you forget Grayson's name. Ishi will kill you.
It's because I keep wanting to call him Graydon (Sabretooth's son's name), and I'm always like, "I'm pretty sure that's not his name...".

I only remember Ishi and Trishka from the game. They were both my favorite parts, didn't like Grayson.
Grayson was my favorite. I love how the game was so willing to make fun of the main character.
I liked stuff he said, but I never really liked him.
Jalapeno cheese corn Combos are good shit.
Hank, I fucking love eatin' that.

Ah, I can get what you are saying there. At first I liked him as a character, but not necessarily as a person, if you know what I mean. But he did grow on me, since he kind of seemed to progress throughout the game.

What's the GGT concensus on F3AR?

also I need to get a PS3 so I can get in on these sessions.
Fixed.

And didn't you sell your PS3? :nottalking:
Fear aint out yet.
FEAR came out like 2005. :nottalking:
I got off but if you're still around I'll play.
Gross.
Well Green Lantern was terrible.
Haha, looked like it. When I visited Sony - even the guys working on it were bashing it. That's not a good sign.

I will play my Copy of Fable 3 one day...

I'll still go and see Green Lantern just for the sake of seeing it.
Yo...Lightning Tether. (though I wish they didn't make you choose between that and the boost jump)
I found the Ice Launcher far more useful. I only used the Lightning Tether a few times.

I went evil first, so I didn't even get that.

I actually used the tether a number of times and couldn't help but sing "Spider Cole" every time I did.

Probably no games this weekend for me. Brothers getting married Saturday so rehearsal dinner tonight, hanging out at the cigar bar all day saturday, then hung over sunday.

Was going to say get drunk and smoke some stoggies, but you have that covered. So make sure you hit on the Made of Honor. And strippers, strippers love weddings :D

Man we had a work related party after work yesterday, with open bar (which was followed by an after party at a bar), like half the office isn't here today (I think HR may have to reconsider having parties with free booze not on Friday in the future, haha); and the ones that are a bit more sluggish than usual. Maybe I should have taken a "sick" day like some of the other people were talking about last night, haha.

I think I'm going to try and beat Alice this weekend, maybe consider a bit of ME2, maybe throw in a fighting game. I also need to get some more work done on my second costume for Otakon, isn't far away but I think if I stay committed to working on it every weekend it will be ready in time.
icebeast: always be fighting. Fire up that AH3.
That would be fun. Heart: "Guru Guru, PUNCH!"

I'm also cosplaying someone from a fighting game for one of my Otakon costumes this year, just like last year (speaking of which I should get Uraizen to play me at Darkstalkers on GGPO). Always showing my fighter love apparently, haha.

Sounds decent:

f you already know ahead of time that you plan on buying all four of the upcoming DLC characters for Mortal Kombat, we have some great news for you! NetherRealm has announced "Mortal Kombat Season Pass", which is a way to purchase all four characters at one time at a substantial rebate!

Available for purchase starting June 21st, the Mortal Kombat Season Pass allows you to buy all four characters for 1200 Microsoft Points. Each character sells individually for 400 Microsoft Points, so if you do a little mental math you save 400 Microsoft Points. That's like getting one of the characters for free! Read on for the full rundown!

fucking E74 error. How I loathe you. >_
Don't give Joel any ideas, he might try to dress up as Urien.
If I were going to dress up as a SF character it would be Bison. If I was going to dress up like anyone ever though, it'd be Tuxedo Mask.

Huh, I'm really liking this pass thing. Give me a slight discount and make sure to let me know I'll be getting the DLC as it's released and I'll be more than happy to buy it. If only Capcom would do something like this...

Aww, I'm sorry for your loss, Frosty. How old was it?
I think this may be the original one I keep frankensteining back together.
It's currently disassembled and cleaned, ready for a brain melt, almost... it still needs to be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol after drying... hopefully I can resurrect it again.

Oh, what the fuck, Boon?!
:(

"This is an Xbox 360-exclusive offer; if you want more virtual murderers in the PS3 version, you'll have to buy them individually."

Finally ordered a larger drive for my PS3, got a 320GB which will be a nice upgrade from my 80GB one which is almost full. I also ended up getting a 2TB external hard drive, since it will make the transfer a bit quicker, plus my current external (which is 500GB) that I have a bunch of stuff stored on for my laptop is getting older so it will be nice to have a backup in case it decides to start going.

That really sucks, man. How many times has it died on you? You should probably look into getting a new one. I'm doing that right now, but I'm thinking I'll hold off to see if 360s are going to get a big price drop or something. I just got an email from GS just now that said if you buy the Black Ops 160 gig PS3 bundle they'll give you a $50 gift card with it and it's only $299, so I think 360 has to get a similar deal soon.

What the fuck? NOT COOL. Oh well, not like I wasn't going to buy them anyways. I just won't be picking up whoever the unknown dude is (unless he's Shujinko).

Just know that your 2tb drive will become smaller. For external drives to work on the PS3 you need to change it from NTFS to a FAT32, which will reduce the size.

I should be able to format it to FAT32 do the PS3 transfer then reformat it to NTFS though right? (Or will that result in the drive not knowing how big it originally was?)
So Sega got hacked now? WTF? It seems like every week I'm getting a "Hey, we been hack'd dawg" email.
Oh Jesus Christ, this is really getting old.

Too much time to go back and forth like that (requires formatting). Plus that might lower the already low shelf life of an external HDD.

Just spend around $50-$60 on an external HDD, 320 gigs is more than enough for you PS3.

But I'd only be doing this once, this is just to transfer all my downloaded data without having to redownload everything from my current 80GB PS3 drive to a new 320GB drive, and I'd guess reformatting is going to be faster then redownloading about 70GB of stuff from PSN (although I don't know how long formatting a 2TB drive would actually take).

Also, I only payed $70 for this 2TB external drive since it was a Recertified product on New Egg. Also the point of this drive is to replace my 500GB external for my laptop which is probably already 300-400GB full and is getting a bit old so I'd like to have a backup.

Last day of work for the week! We've left early 2 out of the 3 fridays I've been there so who knows. Gonna go in, come home and play some games, then tomorrow I'm going to pic up my girlfriend from the train station, she's coming to visit for the week. And we're going to see Super 8 on Sunday!

This day may be the longest ever.

Yes. Or you could create partitions.

Better yet, move all your data from the 500gb to the 2tb drive.
Then format the 500gb drive to fat32 and do the ps3 backup.

HAHAHAHA, no worries about the 2TB getting smaller, you only got around 80gigs to back. That's spare change size.

But eww on a recertified external HDD. Just don't keep it plugged in often.

That's actually a really good suggestion, I think I might do that.
But eww on a recertified external HDD. Just don't keep it plugged in often.
From what I read the stuff on New Egg which is marked as Recertified was only sent out and returned by a customer and determined to be in perfect working order, it just doesn't have the original packaging; the product hasn't needed repairs or anything. So unless a customer in the short time that they had to return the product managed to rape the thing I think it will be fine, I mostly use the my external drive to store music, so I turn it on when I want to listen to it, and stuff that I don't need access to currently, and when I do I copy it back over to my laptop.

The Lightning Tether is useful, but most of the time I completely forgot that I had it.

I've finished all missions and I'm now working on collecting the blast shards and dead drops before starting evil Cole play through.

I picked up Child of Eden yesterday and I have absolutely no regrets. Ill definitely be buying it for the PS3 too when it's released :)

I put a 300GB HD in my PS3 when I bought it like 4 years ago (I think it was a 60GB version). I have 111 downloadable games on it, including a handful of demos/betas, a few full games and HD tv episodes, and it still has roughly 100GB left.
