GGT 136 is ready for the 3rd Strike!

I am extremely impressed by what I've played of Deus Ex so far. Lots of little things that just make it exactly how I would have wanted it.

Well I mean want it now, haha. I have a feeling I'll get it at some point, but considering how many games I still have that I want to get through it's in my best interest to postpone getting anything new for a while (hopefully till Persona 2: Innocent Sin (which I'm not going to play right away, but I want the soundtrack) and Skyrim (which I will play day one)). Plus, I still want to get Shadows of the Damned whenever that gets cheap.

Glad to hear Deus Ex is good.

I've never played any games in the series, but it sounds like something I'd dig since I like story driven games like WRPGs and love FPS games.

I will definitely have to check it out down the road. No way I'd find time for it now or this fall as I'm busy with teaching again and my gaming time will go to Gears 3 and other online stuff like Battlefield 3 or MW3 after that.

I tend to save longer games like that or Skyrim for summer when I'm not teaching.

I also suck at multihit parries. :(

Combo 2? Geez, I already 100% a few character's trials, now I just feel bad. There's some tricks to some of them, IM me for help if you need it.

Downloading 3S but gotta do reading assignment.

Also got a 3DS even though I know a new hardware announce will happen in about a month. I want to hop on using it. New hardware wont hit till holiday anyway.

3s execution is much harder than SSF4's =[

trying to mash out two quarter-circles after a low forward for the super, now realizing it's more efficient to completely buffer the first quater-circle into the low forward.

Due out this winter, the PSVita version of BlazBlue is now officially called “BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend”. According to Famitsu (translated by Andriasang), the game will contain the following features.
New scenarios and characters on top of the content of CSII.
Network Mode with teams functionality, including 2 v 2, 3 v 3, and 2 v 4.
Abyss Mode including a refined version of the story from the original.
You can share your save data between the PS Vita and Playstation 3 versions.

Huh... wonder what the deal with PS3 version will be... another patch? Or a new $40 version? :\
 
First time playing, jumped straight into arcade with Remy.

Did pretty good for three matches until getting my ass handed to me by Ibuki.

My main problem with it is that people always find something to bitch about. Here's an example: People hope for years for a port of the new VF5 iteration and when it does come, all people do is complain that it's not a disc release or not an update/DLC.

My question was more geared at "if I buy the $40 version for Vita, will I have to buy a *second* $40 version for PS3, after dropping $21-$24 on the 3 fighters or will it come with a code for a download to make it so the versions can share data without costing me $80+"...

I'm okay with stuff if there's value. I'd love to get BBCSE on the Vita. LOVE. I would love to have all the fighting games I love in all their glory faithfully put on the Vita, especially if they have saved share data and cross-platform play -- I can play SSF4AE2012 against Uraizen while my gf watches whatever on the TV? AWESOME. I can tether it to my phone and play against other friends while I'm killing time at an airport? Rock on.

I just don't want to pay $100+ to get two copies of SFxT, etc.

Alright, just got done with a playthrough of 3S. Jumped into arcade with Dudley and did really well until the 5th fight in which Chun-Li pushed my shit in.

my god, 3s is overwhelming. all this play makes me want to get the replacement plexi for my fight stick even though I've never decided on replacement artwork. :(
