GGT 143 chainsawed Kudo Tsunoda, not in Gears 3 but for real
Amazon has 12 months for $49. Not great but better than $60.
Probably going to grab a card with the credit I get from X-Men. I'm getting surprisingly addicted to Gears 3 horde mode on my 48 hour trial...

Also I finished Lonesome Road. It was pretty awesome.

I'm definitely interested in some impressions on x-men. It looks so bad, but I would kill for a decent x-men rpg.
That was hilarious.
I couldn't look away.

I can't wait for Tuesday. I'm glad I got X-Men during it's 45.99 price this past week.

Also, Tommy Wi-Show was hilarious. I can't wait to watch the next episode.

Finished Ys: The Oath in Felghana. Shit was soooo good. Definitely one of the PSP's best games, though not as good as Ys Seven. Clocked in around 10 hours, which felt just about right.

I need to try out one of the Ys games some time.

I might have to jump on this.

I really need to pick up Lonesome Road soon. But I think I'll hold off a bit since i've got a few games to buy in the next few weeks. Maybe I'll wait for the next gaming drought?

If you do, pick up Seven, it's easily the best one out of them all.

I'd be up for some Gears tonight, I probably won't hop on until around 10 eastern though.

What's the one that isn't the best of them all? I'd rather start with that one and build up to Seven.

Just play them in order.

Get Oath in Felghana, then. It plays pretty differently, but it's a good indication of what you can expect. I haven't played Ys Chronicles myself, but some people say it's pretty archaic at this point, so you probably shouldn't start with that one.
I don't know what the order of the remakes are. It seems like the remakes stop at 3 and 6 was the first psp one?
6 was the first one to come out on PSP, but it's a shitty port that has horrible load times and looks like trash.

Thing is, they're all really good, so probably Ys I & II. It's the one that is a bit different than the others in that you run full bore into enemies to attack them, instead of pressing a button to attack.

But in honesty, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Although I heard Mask of Nepotism has some problems on the PSP, like long load times and such. I haven't played that one though, but I heard the PS2 version is the way to go.

The first two games have a connected story, but the rest stand alone. There are a few recurring characters who pop up from time to time, but there's no link between the actual plots.

It's also worth noting that this is NOT a series to play for story. The plots are barely there, and are little more than an excuse to go hack shit up.

And you will definitely hack shit up.

The factory mode in Art Style: BoxLife is hard since it's way different than the normal R&D mode. I'm not a fan of the way the R&D mode is all about beating puzzles quickly while not being able to make use of that extra time if you get stuck on a puzzle.
