I didn't think so... other than the super trolling of the Zero and Frank alts (Zero's actually *looks* good too), the list of ones I thought were visually awesome/good were pretty minimal. While I'm not at all trolled by the Zero alt, the Amaterasu alt pisses me off.

Looking through it last night and chatting with uraizen, I think I decided I liked: Taskmaster, Zero, Wesker, X-23, Morrigan, Chun Li, Strider, Trish, Spencer, Jill, Shuma, Ryu. There are some other potentially "okay" ones in there, but I don't like the rest at all. 12/50... :whistle2:(

Also, costumes still don't have a single alt color, so it makes it impossible for both Zero's to choose the X alt (local play).

I am disappoint.

Iron Fist's is kind of terrible -- they should have went with the simple version of him -- maybe that's what you're talking about. :cool:

As someone who actually thinks Iron Fist's gameplay looks interesting but hates his character model with the 70s porno open chest/popped collars outfit, I'd have bought any pack it was in day 1 providing I owned UMvC3 by then and had decided I liked playing as IF.

No problem at all - I was split-screening at a friend's house, otherwise I would've been down to play more. I'm actually hopping on in like 20 minutes if anyone on here wants to play.

Frost - I like the Skrull, Wesker, Storm, Doom, Sentinel, Strider, Viper, Akuma, Task, Haggar, Nova, Deadpool, Hulk, Spencer, Spidey, Jean, Ammy, Frank, Ghost Rider, Tron, Dorm, Hawkeye and Iron Fist ones.

The only ones that I particularly don't like are Morrigan, She-Hulk, Felicia and Zero.

I'll agree with you that She-Hulk's is pretty garbage.
Ones like Doom's are okay, but they don't seem radically different (Doom's seems merely to be some spiked shoulders on his armor).

I absolutely hate Amaterasu's (even though it's well done); fuck you, Ryota Niitsuma.
Maybe some of the others are ok, but from the small blurry scan/photo, ones like Phoenix, Spidey are hard to get a good view on.

Also absolutely trash tier in my book: Akuma, Tron, Iron Fist, Dormammu -- I'm sure there's more -- out of the whole list, I think I liked 12, though like 8 were acceptable and the rest were garbage. :cool:

Oh well, I probably wouldn't purchase them anyway based on the "only 1 color" issue that they somehow didn't fix when they developed the game. It's probably Marvel's fault.

And have fun with UC3 -- when CAG's resident video game tester makes a post about how he loved UC2 and tests game for hours on end (for a living) but UC3 just isn't cutting it? Not a good sign. Maybe when the patch comes out if it fixes some of the control issues that were being bitched about on GAF...

Totally agree on 90's Jean Grey though, I would have preferred something a lot better... Maybe an Emma Frost alt.

To be honest, I agree. This isn't as good as Uncharted 2 (which I didn't think was all it was hyped up to be to begin with), but I must say that I LOVE the origin of Drake. Literally the best thing that I have seen in a game in a long time. It flowed really well and did a great job of making me feel more connected to Drake.
