it's a photoshop of Mushihimesama Futari (not to be confused with futanari) for the 360, but the middle portion is probably real...I think it's the secret boss you get to fight if you 1CC the game on Maniac or something equally impossible.

There's actually a path through all that if you match up the tiny ass hit box on your character and the tiny ass effective part of each bullet (not the pink, but the white portion in the middle.) of course, actually surviving it with skill and without a bomb/tons of luck is a different story. Although, if there's a fuckton of slowdown at that point, which there probably would be, it might not be that bad...

been loving shmups lately. about 40 minutes to play through a game, but it's a tense and fun as hell 40 minutes every time. Just ordered ESPGaluda 2 for the 360!
WHen I see friends playing futari all I think about is futanari. everyone knows they wants it.
Same here...

I gave up on trying to be stealthy in the Flashback mission in SC:C. I just ran in and killed everything in site.
Rero! If I can't even beat the demo for MHFU do you think I should even bother with the full game?
yeah, I'd get the full. The demo dosn't let you customize at all which is a large portion of the game, so you are thrown into a fight unprepared in the demo.

To me MH paid for itself a long time ago. Prob my favorite gaming moments int he past 5 years have been with MH.

Really think about it though and realize what you are getting into since some people get really turned off by the game. It's a steep learning curve, but once it clicks and you start dropping monsters x20 your size like nothing you feel like a king with a 50 foot dick. Think Demon Souls.

if anything get Patchwork Heroes or Eye of Judgment on PSP. Good digital downloads.

im interested in mh tri but ive already got conviction and ssfiv incoming and next month red dead and alan wake so i'll be set until crackdown 2 or if i decide to pick up deathsmiles

atta boy. Its frustrating times like that, that make the mark n execute ability a bit more useful in SC:C

You can't use that in the flashback.

Who knew getting trophies could be so addicting, I've gotten my very first two platinums in less than a week.

Anyways, do any of you have any suggestions for a PS3 third person shooter besides Socom, MGS, and Uncharted? I love the MP in Uncharted 2, but I'd like to try something else, and I can't stand FPS, they just give me too much of a headache.

I really like Splinter Cell Conviction. Earlier missions felt like playing splinter cell with cheat codes, but the later missions are getting a LOT better and a lot more like the Chaos Theory type of quality level design.

And a few hours later I've finished the game. Loved it, could have been about twice as long as long as they kept the quality up. Oh well, lots of co-op and multiplayer to play. And would like to play it on realistic.

All those shitty games in my history went to TRU today for flips. I dunno what I was thinking that i might actually have wanted N3. Or Turok. fuck those games.

I need to try some Splinter Cell co-op sometime soon. But I'm not to comfortable playing a game like this with other people... since I usually end up killing everything. I'll have to see if any CAGs wouldn't mind playing with me.

When the hell did they make Doom and Starcraft Board games? I just happened to tumble across them while I was in a store last night.

That clears up a couple of things.

Anyone planning to get Monster Hunter Tri on Wii? I just preordered last week on Amazon, but still not really sure if I should go ahead and keep the order.

I know TMK just asked it, but I'm going to ask it better:

Is Monster Hunter Tri worth getting if I'm antisocial and don't want to play online? Is it better than previous Monster Hunter games?

I've been wanting the CC pro since I first saw it...so I figure 35.00 isn't bad for Monster Hunter.

Not sure how much time I'll spend on it though.

I'm getting Monster Hunter. It's much better when you play w/friends. If don't mind MMO-style hack n grind, then playing by yourself isn't too bad.

I was thinking about Monster Hunter but probably won't pick it up. Like many, though, I would definitely be picking it up if it was for 360 / PS3.
Just buy it and we'll start a Philly group that's mean to everyone we meet.
I don't have Wii Speak or a USB keyboard, though. I might rent it from Gamefly.
Just buy it and we'll start a Philly group that's mean to everyone we meet.
I should be eligible because I plan to make a road trip there in the near future.

Playing FFXIII right now, around a quarter of the way done with Chapter 12. Also traded in a bunch of games at GameStop, and picked up some new stuff.

I really wish MH3 was on 360. Online games on the Wii is such a joke.

Guess I'll just have to wait for LP2 in a couple of weeks.
IIRC there is a 360 version of MH in the works, so I'll end up getting that one too.
It's an MMO and it's likely to be a Japan exclusive.

I'll get Monster Hunter in September when it's $10 because it failed to show up in the NPD top 3000.

I got a few pretty badass Goodwill finds today. A 32in Sony Trinitron from 2001 for $40. Looks awesome with SNES/NES/Genesis/PS2 type SD stuff hooked up, and still works great. It's heavy as fuck since it's a flat screen tube, but I don't' mind that too much. Keeping it downstairs now with a little retro gaming type setup. Was playing Earthbound, SM64, and some others. They look so much better there than on the HDTV (other than virtual console)

Also got Super Mario Kart and Tetris/DrMario for $2 each.
If they do release MH on the 360 then I'll buy it, probably end up being a day one purchase, too.
They're releasing that 3 year old Monster Hunter MMO in Japan. It might come out here. Enjoy paying the $15 a month fee for it when it does, though.

People will complain about Monster Hunter Tri having friend codes when the fact is it doesn't have friend codes.

Move to japan... play frontier on 360

Not really on this one. Free online, no friend codes, wii speak, and keyboard support. Seems no different to me than what you get on live or psn this time around.
LP2 has yet to buy me over. Not a fan of the first, and the demo felt the exact same, save the snow. Co-op is probably going to be fun, but it's bound to be short.

I can see them adding the MMO fees on the 360.
I like how the Monster Hunter ads advertise the best online on the wii like that means anything.
actually its damn important. When you have a web browser to go up against, which includes sectabytes of porn, you got alot to go against.

going to go pick up some PSN cards at target tomorrow since they on sale.

also, good shit:

If it has a fee then fuck that. I like the series, I bought it back when it first came out on the PS2 and I thought it was completely awesome, but if they throw a monthly fee onto the 360 version then I ain't playin'. The only MMO I'd ever pay for is probably DC Online if it ever comes out.

You clearly weren't paying attention when they announced it. But then again, it is Japan, and everyone in Japan is Monster Hunter's and Pokemon's bitch over there.

just like the rest of the world is WoW's bitch... I still pref MH over WoW any day.

I tried WoW for a week and couldn't wait to get it off my PC. The only MMO I got into, was Everquest on the PS2, which did so terrible, but I found it a lot of fun. I tried FF11 for about two months and some free ones, and hated them. I'd never think twice for paying for MH, from what I've seen, but this sounds like a great deal, especially with some new controllers to mess around with. Leave it to Nintendo to add more accessories.

Some "gamers" (i.e. console warriors) are so ignorant when it comes to the Wii.
It's like you have the internet in front of you to read up on this stuff, but they don't. Console warrior is the term I like to use for these [people].

EDIT: Ironically, some of these people are the same folks who call others fanboys. Some are in this topic~

Now I see there's a DSi coming out for 170.00 and it comes with the M&L game...

Hmm...so 20.00 cheaper than the XL and it comes with a game...I really want those bigger screens though.

Not sure what I should do.

Bigger screen, but same resolution.

I think someone in the ggt actually has an XL.
