so I get to the 4th round of RitJ (Extreme) with 42.8k out of 50k. I get the 50k about 1/2 way through the round, and i somehow get stuck in the middle of a clusterfuck of enemies... i get stuck on the back of a titan several times, but for some reason, i'm unable to direct him toward the asshole who just busted open the gun locker. >_< apparently, thugs with guns are awesome shots and damage batman immediately without mudering the titan. :bomb:

i played several more tries and actually did it, though. batman platinum and i'm a happy fanboy. :D
Thanks, Beef!

Cave, and other companies, need to start porting shit to the Android market. I'd love to be able to nab ESPGaluda, Peggle, and a few other games when I switch phones in the near future.

Had to rid of my 360, my netbook broke, and I need a PC for school, so sold that, and got a new PC. Been playing the wii now, and I have to say, I am enjoying it. Playing Brawl right now and having a blast. Can't wait to jump into Zelda, Mario, Mario Party, etc. Brings back memories.

Anyway, Darkness, SCII should work on this PC, so if you want to try a game soon, let me know man.
I need to start looking into building a PC for SCII. I doubt my current PC will be able to run it that well...
Ooooh, that'll be fun, post specs before you buy it.

Whats your beta account name?

Is it that graphics intensive? It didn't look it in the live streams.

My current PC is probably 3-4 years old right now. And it wasn't really a power house when I brought it. So even if it can run SCII it'll probably look like crap.

It seems that Ubi is knocking $10 off of the price for the Splinter Cell: Conviction CE due to some defective thumb drives. I must say that it's nice to see Ubi do something smart for once.
Ohhh now you are playing... Crotch should kill you for the beta. Anyways, I'll add ya.
Sparta.Omni

I only played a few games on my netbook, and it actually crashed my PC both times...I'm hoping this laptop will be able to handle it, so I guess we'll see. I will try to get on tonight.

Or it's the earliest UbiDrop™ever!
I have a ton of games to play, but instead of playing something really amazing like Dead Space, I'm playing Kung Fu Panda. It's not bad.
Dead Space is not all that great anyway. the graphics are amazing, but unless you're one of those graphics/atmosphere > gameplay people, it's not much fun.

Matt Hazard got a bit funnier with its Final Fantasy and loooong elevator ride parodies, still ridiculously frustrating on the high difficulty though.
I have a ton of games to play, but instead of playing something really amazing like Dead Space, I'm playing Kung Fu Panda. It's not bad.
Dead Space was awesome. Probably one of my most played games this generation. I've played through it at least 4 times.

It is a great game, I still haven't finished it, though. :(

I think my most played through game this gen is probably MGS4, I've beat it 6 times, at least. Last gen my most played was RE4/MGS3, had about 12 playthroughs for RE4 and Lord knows how many for MGS3.

I'm not sure what my most played last gen was... Maybe one of the GTA3 games. Or Twin Snakes. I played a lot of SotN and MGS too, using backwards compatability on the PS2.
I know I'm not a fan of MGS3 -- for all the hype it got, when I finally played it, I was let down. :(

Lol. I have Kung Fu panda also... did you get it with Lego Indy?

Yea, I'm a huge MGS fan but was not feel'n MGS3. I did not like the new mechanics (they felt tacked on), it was my least favorite (although 2nd most anticipated) MGS game.

I was let down, too, but getting the infini-ammo facepaint and collecting everything was a real joy. I played Twin Snakes a helluva lot, too. I probably have about 80 hours total on my save file.

And yessir, DNB! Got it with Lego Indy to round out my Lego Collection. I have Lego everything except Indy 2 now.
Can't believe you MGS3 haters. It had by far the best plot of the four games. :nottalking:
Actually, I believe it goes like this:

MGS: Twin Snakes
MGS4
MGS2
MGS3
MGS:pO

I enjoyed playing MGS3, but not as much as MGS2 or Twin Snakes.

I guess I'm the only person that dosn't set them apart. i see them as one whole package with all needing to exist for necessity.

So I signed back up for Gamefly. This is like my 4th time with the service lol.

Any recommendations that I might not be thinking of? I have pretty much all the recent releases on my list. Is Deadly Premonition worth the rental?
I dumped my 360 core and 60 GB PS3 at GS, got $130 for 360, $230 for PS3, ordered a PS3 SLIMZ. That's about all I've done gaming related.
That seems like a damn lot for both of those systems, especially a Core 360 (no hd?).

Just Cause 2 is fun, even though I don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing.

Yep, no HDD. Thank the sweet $50 extra promo at GS. I needed a DS3, so that's a $15 upgrade on a doomed 60 GB PS3 to a Slim. ^_^
Subsistence is the best.

4 is not only not good for an MGS game, but pretty shit as a video game in general.
what was it zew used to say up in here? bold opinions. but I think it was usually directed at RR.

If you want a good laugh for a budget version of RE4 then yes. It actually gets better, but got too slow for me.

Nothing to recommend from me since I havent been playing any recent stuff, just clearing old titles I havent had time for. Going to fire up Madworld sometime soon.

I'll probably be playing alot of portables when I head to berlin in a few months >_< Need to finish that Flower Sun Rain.

True.

I disagree highly with most people on MGS4 and GTAIV. People came in wnating expectations to be met and then were handed something still good but just vastly a different direction. It really reminds me of comic book fanboyism.

but plz, no need to debate this. I dont want to end up winding down an endless spiral of opinions.

Getting hyped for splinter cell playing double agent.

Some guy on craigslist was looking to trade Medal of Honor Airborne for God of War 3? lol? I emailed him. I'll buy a copy of that shit game to trade him.

I canceled my preorder, I would've only spent 26 bucks on it too. I realized from the demo it wasn't going to be as good as I thought it would be, and 5 hours campaign, plus a mutliplayer I know will get old in a week, will be a rental or bargain pick up in a month or two when it's 20. Good ol' ubi.

Seaturtles 3 (as my ladyfriend calls it) finally has girls eh? That surprised me.
April 2011, sheesh!

I'm not the only one who feels silly while seeing those hideous character designs right?

What? He had GoW3 and wanted MoH:A?

Also, Gears of War 3 looked pretty sweet.

Well, I almost had it.

I started playing Dissidia again, probably going to go back to AdHoc Party too. I forsee much sadness.

Blech, if there's one thing Dragon Age: Awakening didn't need, it's more Deep Roads.

I think for the MGS series, each successive game has had better gameplay, and worse story.

Since I didn't exactly weigh in before...

Story:
MGS > MSG 3 > MGS 4 > MGS 2

Gameplay
MGS = MGS 2 > MGS 4 > MGS 3

I completely agree with you on the story bit.

Man, Gears 3 looks amazing. I can't wait to play Dom. He looks like a bear.
