my mom cleaned up my game room one day and decided to hang it up on the wall. I brought a girl home that evening and yeah...
I've got much worse things sitting around my room... I really should start getting rid of some figures.

are you sure? maybe the girl sees one of the figures and you're in for a special treat?

Picross 3D is coming very soon. Only $20.
If you like Picross that is.

I'll try to think of some other 09 DS games though in a bit.
Oh, no sure where to get Scrib for cheap though. :(

EDIT: fucking time travel.

I kinda of want to get that new Diware game from EA just to see how bad it is.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure most people would be creeped out by some of my fgiures... although not as much as they would be if they ever saw any of Chuplayer's doll thingies.
You should check out: might and magic clash of heroes for it.
You might want to wait until the XBLA version comes out.

Well if you're a Mega Man fan you might want to check out the Mega Man Zero Collection for the DS when that comes out.
Man, that Halo Reach statue is fucking awesome. I cannot wait to have that on my shelf alongside the helmet. I'm drooling in anticipation.
i think i might get the LE even though i kno i'll get burned*looks at halo 2 and halo 3 LE in shame*

well at least the alan wake LE will be worth it...i hope

I actually really loved both of those LEs, the only LE I was disappointed by was ME2.
So happy I'm not into memorabilia and collecting. Saves me money. :p
I save enough money as it is, I think I can afford every once in a while to buy a gigantic monster edition of a game (as long as I ccan get my fiancee to promise she won't throw it out). I pretty much only do it for Halo, MGS, and ME, though.

I'm trying to think of a game where I'd opt to buy the version with a ridiculous statue.

It'd have to be like Pac-Man or Galaga.

If Persona 5 had a version that came with a Jack Frost statue, I'd be all over it.

All. Over.

I've been playing some Wipeout HD, addicted to it like it's crack. I've been interested in it for a while. I played a ton of Wipeout XL back on PS1. So for $10, I decided to buy it. Then I got hooked and bought the expansion too. Addiction is a bitch.

I've also been playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and having fun with that too. And SSFIV next Tuesday from Amazon, so I should be busy for a bit. ^_^

Dude, if you want to play mission mode for NGS2, send me a FR -- we can get together and slice and dice.

The original BioShock LE statue was awesome -- still wish I could've gotten one (or two, if mine was broken so I could get the artbook.).
I'd probably have gone for the LE of DMC4 or NG2 if they had nicely done statues of Nero/Dante or Ryu.
I'd rebuy Persona 4 if they put a a Special Edition with a Chie statue.
I'd buy two of them if the Chie statue looked like hiimdaisy's version of Chie.

They did have a Chie statue a while ago... I regret missing out on it. Thanks to Giantbomb she became my favorite character in the game. Jeff even made a Wario DYI game with her in it.

more Chaos Rings evangelizing.

The game is ranked 3rd in the world right now for downloaded apps...hopefully it keeps up its steam. Turns out after you beat the game, instead of doing New Game+ right away, there's a secret dungeon with a bunch of extra bosses...with 9 extra bosses per party. Like FF-style secret bosses that are ridiculously strong.

wish I could play this more...I'm freaking shocked at how fleshed out this game is. Only downside is having to play the same dungeons with each party.

Man Bayonetta gameplay is awesome. Am I the only one that finds the extra weapons kinda crappy though (the katana, the whip, the fire / thunder claws)? I always just end up going back to my standard P / K load-out.

katana and claws are pretty awesome, keep trying them! you can change the elements of the claws with 360 + p or k. the charge attacks are super useful as well.

Listening to this Earthbound soundtrack is detrimental to my health. I'm gonna go crazy since I don't have a way of playing it again.

Filthy pickpocket!! Nininiininini..

Lol! That is just plain retarded (this is an appropriate time to use that word).

Stupid Halo Reach LE!

Then again, I do need another ridiculous chotchke to go with my lonely Halo 3 Cat Helmet.... :p

Let me explain to everyone how PS3 updates work. For one, there's only a console firmware update every 2-3 months as of late, compared to every month early in the month. The reason for the constant updates is so Sony can continue to reduce the amount of OS memory everything uses (especially in game). This allows for features to be added in-game (like the in-game XMB, could not be added until the size of the OS memory decreased to a certain amount), and allows Sony to give more available RAM to developers (making ports especially easier to do on PS3). While PS3 firmware updates only take me 2 minutes to download, what takes them a bit longer (compared to other updates) is the larger file size. Main firmware updates are over 100MB in size, and due to the way PS3 was created, the main firmware has to be re-downloaded every time to add/remove features. It cannot be patched in via small file size.

Game updates use to have a certain amount of space to add space. For a game like Resistance/MotorStorm, every time a feature was going to be added, the same exact file had to be re-downloaded every time something was added/changed. Older PSN games were like that where you could not patch, but only re-download the same game over and over again. As development kits were updates, games could be patched through via small/large file. There are also no restrictions on game update size, and they are not heavily compressed (which leads to a higher size). Some games like LBP, Burnout Paradise, etc. have large updates because they are built on a foundation where if anything is added in the store, a new file has to be downloaded. Once the file is downloaded to add stuff, you can buy unlock keys in the store to use it. I believe its a way some third parties use to avoid paying for bandwidth fees (or whatever) on the PS Store, using their own servers for the update.

I rarely have a problem with updates because I like things being fixed and new features, but then again I don't have that problem because I tend to play certain games a lot. If you don't play a game for a very long time, you might have to download a bunch of updates, unless its one of those games that combines the updates into one (like SingStar I believe).

Let me explain that I don't give a crap how a PS3 update works. All I know is I could update my 360 500 times before one PS3 update finishes.

NOOOO, TMK is giving us an essay about the PS3 again!

Got some more AC2 in last night. Finished sequence 9--liked the carnivale part a lot. Did several more assassination contracts, treasure map in the third (or 4th?) part of venice etc.

Won't get back to it until next week since I have family visiting all weekend.

Your internet settings can also affect PS3 update speed. With my setup, updates take next to no time to do.

He probably has a 1080i tv.

It didn't take too long for my update last night. Then again, I am also directly connected with ethernet.

Also, yay for Uncharted 2 DLC today. Can't wait to get home from work and download that puppy.
