More Skyrim last night. Finally got my quest log pared down to the story quests, dark brotherhood, and longterm find a bunch of stones etc. type quests.

Think I will go do more Thieve's Guild stuff before starting up the Dark Brotherhood line though after reading that you need to do 5 of the jobs missions in each city to get a special mission in each city. And then do those to restore the guild and fully become guildmaster. So I'll give that a go and see how tedious it gets before moving on as I'd like to fully finish each of the guild sections of the game.
They let you upgrade the guild armor, I think, after each city has it's main quest done. Some good bonuses. And I can't remember which part of thieves guild gives you the awesome light armor, but once I had it, I used it all the time. The quests can be tedious, but just go for the ones that are like "sneak in and steal 5 things" or whatever.

I've never been in a camp with a literal mud river flowing through the middle of it. God damn.

Only one wasp sting this year. Two bees, though. What the fuck, bee-bros?

My shovel handle exploded on one of the last days of work. Had to get a new shovel dropped from a heli just to finish the day.

fucking mud Jesus Christ it was everywhere on everything.

I have the strangest tan right now.

My mustache tastes delicious on hot days.

Time to see if my predictions about the ME3 extended cut were correct (spoiler alert: I'm never wrong about this shit).

Welcome back, hang on this stupid itch on my crotch is flaring up again.

That one Playstation game made me want to play Smash because in Smash you can Smash and that's way funner.

The only way to kill is by using a super? That's just terrible design.
Sorry dude, but the only GGT member I know with UMvC3 on 360 is Jimbo; most of the rest of us (Hank, Josh, Me, Icebeast, Joel, and Uraizen) have it on PS3 (and in the case of Uraizen and I, Vita as well).
Wow brah, just completely forget that I exist.

That's cool dawg.

Do the trees whisper to you at night?

I forgot you like to buy your fighters on 360 man; we haven't played much since gears 3 back when.

So yeah, you could play with Jesus and Jimbo, man!

Sometimes, when I'm lying in my tent at night, I close my eyes and see a field of trees.

The density is usually way off, though.
i can't even beat normal arcade mode zzz

really though fuck galactus
Practice, dawg. It isn't that hard.

I remember when I didn't
save him at the end because it didn't make it clear I could. Luckily he survived that huge fall somehow :p
The Bo Train!!!
That was sweet!
I've only completed Chapter 1 and I've had more fun with this game than I have with the entirety of Gears 3.
As you should since Binary Domain is far superior.

For the first time ever, I brought my laptop out to camp to watch movies and Do Thangs.

Someone promptly spilled tea on it. They also failed to take care of it/warn me in time.

Haven't built a computer in ages. This gon' be good.

What is Do Thangs?

1. Play a season-long game of XCOM where I name all the troops after my coworkers - and their pets, since I invariably run out of names - and watch them get their faces murdered by rapist crab-men, mind-controlled squadmates, and my absolute favourite, enemy-grenade-at-the-skyranger-entrance-turn-one.

2. Type out a short story, which I would then transcribe to the back of my tally sheets (we have to record how many/what kind of trees and where we planted them each day on these small pieces of paper) by hand, for all the one person who ever read them.

3. Protect a helpless table from a dangerous spill of Tim Horton's tea.
A mod deleted my message on Gamefaqs because I said that DmC trailer looks cool and that I liked the music.
Good mod IMO

After a long philosophical discussion between me, whoknows and uraizen, we have come to the conclusion that whoknows wants Uraizen to shoot Joel.

Sorry about that.

"Who would you marry, Uraizen or Joel?" - Whoknows

"I would marry Uraizen, Joel would be too stressed. I'd have to be like "damn Joel shut up". - Hank

"Would you have sex with Cheddahz?" - Uraizen

"It would be the funniest shit ever. Pounding down on him against his will and then posting it on his facebook." - Hank

Powered through it last night--took four hours or so to get through it all. Best to stick to the numbers and burglary jobs since all of those are just one task in one house/store each time so they go pretty quick. Took me a few times to realize I could just quit jobs if they weren't in a city I still needed to do.

You get the Guildmaster Armor when you finish it all and become guildmaster, along with an acheivement. The armor is pretty good--a bit better than the Nightengale Armor you got during the main thieve's guild questline which I had been using.

Have one or two side quests I stumbled across to clear out now, then I'll move on to the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Bought the DLC too. Figure I'll just power through the main game and this DLC and any other that comes out before I'm finished and move on to something else.

What is the advised way of obtaining better armor? Smithing? Enchanting? Both seem like a big skill investment.

Also, conjuration is awesome. Summoning a flame elemental and watching bandits burn to death is extremely satisfying.

I guess those are the ways. I haven't bothered much with smithing or enchanting either. I just play with the difficulty down so it doesn't matter much for me.

You'll get better armor through quests as well though. If you use Light armor, the thieves guild armor is pretty good in terms of armor rating and the bonuses it gives you for carrying more weight, lock picking skills etc.

Smithing and enchanting will get your some ridiculously overpowered stuff. To level up the skills just make a bunch of iron daggers then enchant them.
