Normally I'd mention we still have to beat the DLC on PC, but... y'know.

Steam gave me a 75% off Portal 2 code... seriously? Can't they check my list to see if I own the game they're giving out a coupon for first? I know some people got different coupons like a 50% off SR3 DLC coupon. Does anybody still not own this game on PC and wants my coupon?

I ordered 16gb of ram on friday for $70. It's gonna be a nice upgrade from 4gb.

Someday we'll have a reunion to play it again... someday...

You should keep me more aware of when Skype chats are going on during the weekend though I'd be able to hop on for those, I miss talking to you guys.
What in Christ's name are you using 16gb of ram for?
Memory Leaks in Tribes Ascend, obviously.

I also have a 75% off portal 2 coupon if anyone needs it.

If he's like me then nothing; it's just so damned cheap these days. My PC is never using more than 3GB at any given moment.

Josh has a woman, which is basically a social death sentence, and you are now three hours behind me. This is going to be one tough-ass reunion.

I'll throw you an invite to skype chats on the weekends.
I only have 1gb of ram.
You're also running Windows 98, shit must be so pimp, I'm jelly.

Shiiiiiit, I'm on that Windows 7 brah.
Also, I can pretend I'm josh if you just want a body to fill in for borderlands. :p
You're 91 versions behind, but I guess I should expect that from someone who is BEHIND ON THE TIMES!

But it wouldn't be Josh's body so it isn't the same...

What...I dunno whether to be impressed that they made Gradius in LBP2 or to be unimpressed because it's just someone with too much time on their hands remaking a game in another game with another game's tools.

Been playing Guild Wars 2 and WoW Panda Beta.

WoW Panda is lame. The most fun I had was making up stupid ass fake names for my character. Example "Likmaiduk" and "Shisukkok".

Yes, these names passed the filter. :p

I have it on PC -- I just don't have any characters started yet. So you'd have a low-level hanging out fast leveling, I guess. If you decide yes, let me know ahead of time so I can d/l the game.

Well I actually don't have my save either because it got fried along with the hard drives on my old laptop (and I think when we stopped playing wasn't long before they added Steam Cloud for the game). So back when there were talks of starting it up again to do the DLC I was just going to create a fake character using a save editor with basically no equipment just fairly high level and use that, I think I already did, although it was kind of awkward since I basically just unlocked all the pack slots and other such stuff, but it still starts you out as if you haven't done any quests unless you want to go through the hell of marking each quest completed one by one. I was just speed running the start of the game to get through the tutorial phase so that it had all my slots unlocked for stuff like shields and grenades.
Well, $18 for DMC HD Collection is cheap enough for me to finally bite on it. Can't wait to play DMC2!!!!
Enjoy. I've had the HD collection and original release since it came out and I have yet to go past the 3rd level because of its epicness my human body cannot handle DMC 2.

Oh, then just use a save editor to catch up or something when the time comes.

I own it on all platforms. I think I only maxxed out on 360 and PC though.

Currently dividing time between SD and Guild Wars 2. GW2 is ok. I like not paying a monthly fee. The presentation reminds me of Old Republic somewhat with the cutscenes and branching conversation paths, although I think Old Republic still does it a little better overall.

SD is pretty fun. I don't really care for how big the world is. One thing that is tough about open world games these days in general is that they are really big, but don't offer a lot of detail or interaction within the world itself. I can drive around forever, but I can't do much outside of missions/sidequests beyond scavenger hunt. You can't enter most buildings or do anything "open" in the world.

Also, it's fucking annoying as shit to be charged for every metal fence and parking meter you knock down. It would probably not be as annoying if the vehicle handling was better.

That's sounds terrible, Saints Row 3 did it right, handing out XP for running people over, driving unsafe, and causing property damage, haha. :bouncy:

Also, I'm amazed at how well Saints Row 3 ran on a computer and then THQ publishes Darksiders II for PC and I guess they don't share knowledge between their developers because Darksiders II on PC has a really wonky screen tearing or framerate problem depending on if/how you enable V-Sync, they just released a patch yesterday that said it fixed V-Sync, but it didn't really, now the in-game V-Sync screen tears less but makes the framerate drop randomly (which is basically what happened if you tried to force it on from the Nvidia control panel), at this point I think I've found the best solution that mostly works to balance out avoiding a lot of screen tearing while mostly avoiding odd spikes in FPS. I think updating to a beta graphics driver helped some too.

SR3 should have done a better job promoting that they changed the "respect" system to a leveling experience system of sorts. When I first started playing, I thought "oh, fuck, I still have to deal with this bullshit?! I'm probably going to quit the first time it tells me I don't have enough respect to start a mission I want to do." Pleasant surprise to see they'd changed it -- granted, I didn't follow much about the game from the start because I thought the first two games were average at best, but still, had I know about the respect being experience and not a mission qualifier this time around, I'd have been more likely to try it earlier on.

I only played SR1 and not that much of it (I thought it was still better than any other GTA clone though since the aiming felt decent). Skipped SR2. And got SR3 when it was on sale after hearing a lot of people saying they really liked it and having fun screwing with the character customizer they released (that was where I discovered I could play as She-Hulk), and it can officially be added to my very short list of sandbox games I've actually finished and is one of my favorite games I've played recently actually.

Well, it's a few dollars here and a few dollars there, but you can't just fuck shit up without racking up a nice bit of change that will prevent you from buying nice stuff later. It's definitely not as "fun" as SR3 in that regard although, all this concern about money does seem to keep with the Chinese theme. :whistle2:#

I've beaten DMC2 multiple times.

And I mean multiple times as each character

Why?

More people should play SWTOR, or Payday, one of the two.

Or buy me Dark Souls for PC.

Are the stories any good?

That's the only reason why I would play it since whoknows told me he doesn't want to play it with me or talk to me ever again.
