Not sure. He's probably from a handheld game. The only one I ever played was Link's Awakening.

I think there's a pretty strong balance between the 3D Zeldas. Tons of Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker to go along with Ocarina. I don't actually see much from Skyward Sword, but I'm not very far in that game, either.
 
Like all of the top half is OOT and the bottom is twilight princess and some majora in the middle I don't see the wind waker stuff.
Googled it apparently hes from spirit tracks which isn't a very liked Zelda game.
 
I drank a finger of White Dog for science. It was amazingly awesome (see that amazingly awesome= burn like no other), that I went for a second one and brought a third for the road. Next thing I know I find myself in downtown LA in a rave dance club. Drank a few shots with my buds that I supposedly went with, and the highlight?

I met Gootecks.

Going to keep going with this stuff and see what other internet famous people I will end up meeting.
 
Most of the characters underneath the Link-Zelda-Ganondorf thing are from Wind Waker. The whale, the dragon, the dude with the fiddle, the bird chick, leaf-face... you've also got Majora's fairies and Skyward's Fi. Below that, it's a solid block of Twilight Princess. You've got the bar folks who help Link in various areas, the sage dude who looks after the kids, and what's-her-name with Epona. Below Ingo and Talon you've got the pirates from Wind Waker, as well as Link's sister and grandmother. Further down still is a lot of Majora's Mask stuff - the zora with the guitar, the elderly goron (I think), etc.

I don't recognize the old guys further below, but the middle one is - spoiler alert - Midna from Twilight Princess, with the Majora's Mask peddler beneath her. Wind Waker's boat is beside claw guy.

Then we've got a giant Gohma-ish eye, Zant from Twilight Princess, some dudes I don't recognize, and an assload of Majora's Mask. Then it's Ocarina's Ganon, Fierce Deity Link, a generic enemy, something that looks like Twilight Princess' Zelda but might not be, and the wolf that taught you new abilities in Twilight Princess. Not sure what's up with the baby in white.

EDIT: And there are some characters with the same appearance in multiple incarnations, so it's hard to pin down, like the Great Fairy and Tingle.

Even if I played spirit tracks I wouldn't have gotten that he looks way better in that art tribute.

Just noticed next to byrne is minish cap art as well which is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite zelda game

Fairly sure the whale is actually the Wind Fish from Link's Awakening (which I have played and love a whole lot). I don't think I've found anything for Link to the Past in that picture yet though.

Nah, it's Jabun from WW. The Wind Fish didn't have the lantern on his head. I don't see anything from Link's Awakening. I fuckin' loved that game. Practically taught me how to read.

Oh I thought you meant the whale on the left side just slightly up from Jabun who is the Wind Fish, haha. And the guy holding his hand over the Majora moon is Agahnim from Link to the Past so they have something from my two favorite Zelda games, haha.

Playing OOT on the 3ds it was amusing to me how much shit I had remembered to do and where a good majority of the gold skullturas were without having to look them up.

Basically cag used to have either a redirect from cheapassgamers.com to cheapassgamer.com or had all request from the plural domain to the singular domain's content. But now that isn't working anymore.
