I don't get Super SFIV either, maybe will get when cheap cheap cheap.
I never bought Super SFII on SNES, had my fill with Hyper Fighting.

^Yeah, for like ten dollars more you can get the deluxe edition, comes with a bunch of other worthless crap I must have. I'm pretty sure the game is in Chinese or something, I barely paid attention, but this will make my 4th Final Fantasy 13 copy.

And yes, feel free to, I'd love to have more CAG's to play online with =)

I'm really enjoying Monster Hunter Tri. I'm really surprised I'm nearing 30 hours in it. I also feel that I'm still nowhere near done the offline mode of the game, and I'm about to reach my first 4 star quest (5 star quests are the last set of quests).
 
I don't know who you're talking to. I've been enjoying it since after hour 5 or so; which is where I started going online. The game has a really good way of getting you to go back and forth between off and online. It's not something you see pulled off so directly in games.

I was the same way with SSF2. I never warmed to SF4, so SSF4 doesn't really excite me. Plus I heard T. Hawk is a rapist bitch.

Super is just excellent if you like fighting games.
The value is insane. 35 fighters, 10 new to the SF4 system, 2 entirely new. All unlocked from the start. Impressive netcode. New online modes. All for $40, at most. I paid about $25. Absolutely excellent.
Oh yeah, and with install, there's like 0 load times. Most people who play online seem to be aware of the install too, as when I've had people challenge while I'm playing arcade mode, it's always been quick/speedy.

I'm attempting to chImp my TE FightStick tonight! :whee:

I only actually did the first combat challenge with him as a "hey, I wonder if I can use the Joker to get medals towards Freeflow Gold"... it was fun though.

May continue with Splinter Cell tonight, or try to finish up Bad Company 2.

Yeah, I think VF is meh and DOA is okay.

I guess I just like the faster paced fighting games like Guilty Gear or Mortal Kombat.

Does GG play faster than BlazBlue? Cause I thought BB was slower than SSF4. Still awesome though.

Generally speaking, if I'm looking for 3D-based, I like Tekken. T6 was pretty solid. If I'm 2D, my all time favorite is SF2T (and SSF2T, by extension, I suppose). So SF4 being a rip off of SSF2T with a slew of new characters and more ways to combo moves is just aces. I've only had limited exposure to BB, but it has potential.

VF and DOA I can't play, they just don't mesh with me. I liked UMK3, but the combos felt forced and basic, much like they are in the Naruto:GNT games for gamecube/wii. Fun, but not overly complex/skillful. As far as I'm concerned, MK never survived the transition from 2D to 3D, though MK vs. DC wasn't terrible.
 
GG and BB are about the same. I dont know why, but SF just feels really slow to me.

And I thought Deadly Alliance and Deception were good...if you like the multiple stance thing.

And ya, for 3D I'd probably go Tekken as well.

Just got my work schedule today, and fuck, I seriously will have no time to play at all in May. Already cancelled a couple of my pre-orders, and selling some other random stuff that I know I'll never get to. Really sucks being an adult sometimes.

Probably both.

From what I've seen it's just a publishing deal with Activision having no input into the creative process, no ownership of intellectual property etc. And they surely threw a big chunk of change at them.
 
Why do I want Trauma Team? I haven't even played any of the other installments, and I don't even like working with people. Hence, going into the veterinary field.
