Yeah, pretty dry. And Revelations is not a day 1 $60 title either.
Yeah, Monster Hunter's gonna be a heavy hitter for me.
From what I've played of MHFU on Vita, I don't think I'll ever understand it...
The Vita is also going to be getting its first good game since P4G in April. GUYS, IT'S HAPPENING. The Vita is getting a game.

Dragon's Dogma DA also hits next month.
Dragon's Dogma DA might be of interest. More so than the games I struck through above.
And Soul Sacrifice... that's going to be the bee's knees, man.
Yeah, P4A's the big example I'm coming off of, haha. Shaking off the fighter rust has me wanting to jump back onto that one. Shit's fun.

I played a bunch of Sony Smash in week one, half because my buddies worked on it, half because I was having fun. Kinda fell off hard and never went back though. I'd be all for firing it up just to dick around, either way.

I've actually been thinking about getting back into 3SO. Shit's a blast to watch, and I did enjoy what I played of it back in the day. I've got AE and KOF locked from PS+, but I don't have the HD space for em with Okami HD still sitting there. I ain't great at AE, but I'll hop around with Ibuki and Gief all day.

I'll hit you up sometime after work for that Dead Space stuff. Prolly close to 6 EST if you're around. Got some freelance shit in today that I have to start chipping away at.
Sounds good -- I should be around at some point tonight, though I might finish my playthrough of the DLC prior to if work isn't cooperating.

I wish I liked 3S more, but something about it just bugs me. I think part of it is that I'm sort of tired of using Ken/Akuma and the rest of the cast is some combination of not liking the character design or the way they play (or both). I prefer Darkstalkers to it, but if that's what the order of the night is, I'll still occasionally hop on with these guys.

And it sounds like you need to upgrade your PS3 HDD, buddy. ;)

We all know the most exciting game after Bioshock is:

Got dat preordered already.
You're taking a RE game over Metro?

U Kray
Probably because I don't like the setting and am not really a fan of FPS games in general.
The Bioshock games might be the only ones I really liked outside of a stint with some of the Modern Warfare games.
Maybe Crysis. But that was average.

That and a couple others are ordered through NewEgg for me, took advantage of the 10 buck off offer they had a while back so I'm getting all my 3DS games for 30, usually get them a few days after launch though, still worth it.
And it sounds like you need to upgrade your PS3 HDD, buddy. ;)
I really do. I'm still rocking the 40 gig.
I'll be picking that one up one Wii U myself, been a huge fan of online play in that series since the original on PS2, and it's the main reason me and a few friends even picked up a Wii U, but I played the demo on both and will probably pick it up on 3DS sometime down the line as well.
I won't lie, I was/am a little tempted to grab one just to have access to MH on the big screen. Just a little more than I feel like dropping right now. I know there are games coming down the WiiU pipe that I want to play, but I'll prolly wait for em to actually come out.

You know if there's crossplay between the WiiU/3DS versions?

Edit: Looks like there are some Wii U consoles in my area for around 250. You digging the console so far? Think it's worth it?

I can't let myself watch any Infinite trailers. I've been dark since they announced it, and I'm staying that way til my Songbird edition gets here. Reeeeaaally hope it turns out good. All of the people bailing from that studio scared me a good bit.

Mass Effect 3? Uncharted 3?
Mass Effect 3? Uncharted 3?
Surprisingly Mass Effect 3 was a lot of fun in multi.

Uncharted games, however? No thank you.

Jim Carrey in that Kick Ass 2 trailer? fuckin' awesome.

Yeah. There's a dog on your balls!
Uhh guys, the best third installment of this year comes out this month, Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel!

In reality, the game could be a sleeper...

Now for the real talk, PS4 comes out this fall, so expect all the launch title for that to drop. BF4, Destiny and whatever CoD will come out this fall aswell. Pretty sure the next AC has those AC peeps hyped, doubt ubisoft will drop Watch Dogs in 2013. The South Park RPG is certainly in limbo, but I would expect a late summer release and that goes for all the other THQ titles that were picked up (CoH, WWE game, next Saints Row game, etc.). As for PC, SWTOR gets their first expansion this Spring/Summer. FF11 gets an expansion, FF14 2.0 is expected to drop this summer and ESO will do something, how well is TBD. That is all the MMO talk and technically DotA2 has not been released, so there is that. Arma 3 just dropped, but it is currently in the Alpha stage. DayZ is still somewhere in the making, when it will be done is a question on how well they polish the final product. The whole slew of Kickstarter games should be dropping this year as well, which includes Wasteland 2. Then the whole bunch of F2P games like Warface and Warframe should go into full beta/retail this fall aswell.

I dont think I got everything, but there are a LOT of games for each genre dropping this year.

/edit: Forgot about DA3. Not sure how I feel about when it should drop. Fall release for the dat holiday season is super attractive, but this game NEEDs to be of DA:O quality and some.
Dragon Age 3 was confirmed to be a 2014 game, as is Witcher 3.
I really do. I'm still rocking the 40 gig.
I hope you have PS+ and backup your saves regularly.

Not fun losing all your data on a fatty like I did with a couple platinums that I never updated.
Yeah, pretty dry. And Revelations is not a day 1 $60 title either.

Nope its a day 1 $49.99 title

Definitely do. That was one of the things that sold me on PS+. I'm constantly terrified of losing data :/
Nope its a day 1 $49.99 title

It should be $30 day 1, and at most $40. It's an HD port of a 3DS game for crying out loud.
Definitely do. That was one of the things that sold me on PS+. I'm constantly terrified of losing data :/
Smart. I was dumb and let it happen to me 3 times.

On the brightside, I got in on the Target misprint and got 3 years of PS+ for less than the price of 1. I regret not buying a couple more though.
so after bioshock this year is dead until GTAV?
Shadowrun Returns, berk.
Also Joel how did you get Gears DLC from Expertzone? I don't see anything about it on there.
They had it on there but it got taken down. It was there late Feb early March.
Jimbo and Joel getting GOW J?
Wanna be COOP BESTIES?
What the fuck is God of War J?

Joel said earlier that Judgement was the first GEARS game that he wouldn't be buying day one... so unless that's changed...
MOTN was pretty cool but it was just the same shit over and over. Don't make a noise and try to avoid the guards because they're stronger than you.
Sounds like every stealth game ever.

$30 Sony Smash at Target next week if anyone is interested.
Dragon Age 3 was confirmed to be a 2014 game, as is Witcher 3.
Well great EA, you fucked yourself if you try to go against Witcher 3. But good on you to extend till 2014.
If Revelations was $30 at launch it would be a day 1 no brainer for me. At $50 I'm just going to rent it
Yeah I would buy for $30, but anything higher is too much.
Wait, she moved from California to fucking Nova Scotia? Who the fuck does that?
A dumb chick on youtube that is attractive. Yeah...
Hey, don't you insult Donald Sutherland.
Crotch, got back for lunch and was able to finish the Babylon save.

On the screen grab I took on getting into Atomic (at T248), it looks like I missed it. I didn't. What happened is that I had a bunch of RAs cash in simultaneously, which took me all the way through the tech before Atomic Theory, Atomic Theory itself, and put me a few hammers into Rocketry.

It was fun to engineer a science win here. It was all done in the early game, the key was putting hammers into bowmen in the early going. Showing strength to Boudicca and Theo paid off. I had to scramble to get RAs up, that was one of my mistakes, but I was limited by how poorly others were doing in terms of GPT.

Boudicca wound up DOW'ing me right after Industrial at roughly T172. You can see her using open borders to give her troops a lay of the land at T170. It was a pathetic assault. It's a good example of what bugs me about the AI. I don't expect that the AI will fight me one-on-one effectively, I know that's a demanding AI task. However, I do expect that the AI should recognize that attacking a technologically superior force, with decent gold reserves, was an awful idea. If the AI wants war, why not go north to Theo again?

Anyhow, by insisting on laying (what we'll politely call a) siege to my settlement, she weakened her forces so badly that Theo rushed in and wiped out the Celts entirely. (See T208 screengrab.) Bad move, Boudicca.

Outside of not getting to civs earlier and making RAs, my only other glaring mistake was losing track of happiness in a few spots. There's never any reason to carry double-digit happiness in a science win, but I played it too fast and loose. So you can see the dip in my BPT output in the chart there at the end -- I got fixated on SS parts and didn't notice that my BPT fell off a cliff.

I guess I also failed to get factory/workshop specialists up soon enough. As a result, I was missing a late game G. Engineer that I normally depend on. Other than that, it wasn't too dicey, just the early going was all that was bad.

That's it. Thanks for sharing the map, I so rarely play isolation games that it was fun to churn one out. I love that about the game, whether it's smart AI, deep algorithms, or buggy code, it's amazing how varied tactics over a few critical turns can *completely* change the AI response and possible victory conditions.

I would, but I'm not planning on picking it up until it's around $20. I've just had too much Gears to want to go back to it this soon after 3. I just have all the DLC from all sorts of promotions that I'm selling off.

In 7 months me and joel will be co oping on GOW J ^____^.

I'm bored of this tomb raider game. Everyone is easy to kill and the puzzles are easyasfok

Another thing I forgot to mention is how surprised I was that none of the civs were really serious about faith. Theo and Boudica really weren't going after it, I suppose Boudicca was doing the best she could while being hamstrung by her ramped up military production and the consequent waste of those units in poorly chosen battles.

Theo was just kind of hanging back on faith, which is odd given her UA. I wonder if there isn't something buggy going on there.

Man, you guys need to lay off the acronyms when talking about civ 5. I've played it and I still have no idea what you guys are talking about.
