I was looking around GameFAQs and apparently there was something going around about 6 characters being announced during E3 and 3 of them were Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager so it might be accurate. If that's true the other 3 they have listed are Pac-Man, Little Mac, and your Mii.

The last 3 have been floating around since the game was hinted at for 3DS when they first showed off the 3DS. They could be true, but I seriously doubt it.

Zelda’s original Wii U outing appears to be farther along than originally thought. Nintendo considered bringing the game to this year’s E3, surprisingly, but Shigeru Miyamoto told Game Informer that the decision was made “to wait just a little bit longer before sharing it with everyone.”

Miyamoto said:

“We’re also working on a new Wii U Zelda game. Work on that is progressing fairly concretely. In fact, we were thinking about showing it here at E3 but decided to wait just a little bit longer before sharing it with everyone.”

I wonder if it's partially because they would have had 3 seperate Zelda games at one event and they felt that was too much? Granted, I would have loved to see all the Zelda I could.

About the Smash characters, Pac-Man could be entertaining if they do him right, I'm indifferent about Little Mac, and having the Miis as playable might be good for laughs just because you could use various different famous/popular characters/people then.

Don't they plan on having Nintendo Direct videos monthly? If so, I'm guessing they just didn't have anything impressive to show and decided to hold it to make a bigger splash closer to the X1/PS4 launches.
 
I guarantee that's what they were hyping up to the press for today. Man, bet they didn't want to have any glitches or bugs like that time with Skyward Sword.

If they had something to show, they would've shown it. "Work progressing" could mean anything: they made a title card, one of the artists doodled Zelda in a bikini top, or Miyamoto scrawled "NEW ZELDA OR UPREZ ANOTHER OLD ZELDA?" on a bar napkin somewhere.

 
Much respect to you, Mo. A friend of mine mains Ganondorf; I know that's an uphill battle. I didn't realize how bad most of my favorite characters were supposed to be until I checked out a tier list earlier last month. I barely buy into it with a party fighter like Smash though.

Yeah, I played as Captain Falcon in the original then when Ganondorf was in I switched since he was similar with more power/less speed and I enjoyed playing with him. I never really get into tier lists or look at them really but I remember when people were telling me that Ganondorf was literally in last for Brawl and I had no idea lol. I felt that I could do fairly well with him online and could win in local/online matches against my friends. It might have to do with how I don't do really hardcore settings and just play more for fun but I still got into it quite a bit.

Certainly not bad. I grabbed it for 10 from Best Buy a while ago. If you're into the series, 15's not bad for it.

I'm gonna need to hit a wiki or something. I played a very little bit of Birth By Sleep most recently, but KH2 was the last one I really got into. That story's all over the god damned place.

 
Yeah, I have all of the KH games up to date and the story is all over the place, not to mention with how long it takes for the games to come out and how they are all set at random times like oh this ones before the first and this ones between the main 2 games while another is between a main game and a different title it just kind of makes you go >.<

 
KH was definitely garbage, IMO.  My main complaint had to do with it's useless as fuck lock on.  It was the first game I rushed to beat so I could sell it/trade it for almost what I paid.

I hear Birth By Sleep is good, but I won't ever be able to play it, since it's not available digitally.

 
The Wii Fit Trainer trailer is awesome. I'm looking forward to playing her.

The main character I'd like to see come back (that doesn't seem to have been announced yet) is Meta Knight.

Also, I'd be down with a playable Mii in the game; was wondering why they didn't do that in Brawl.
 
Probably because Miis suck.

I skipped KH2 because the story looked worse than KH and they hadn't fixed the lock on as far as I could tell (at the time).  I really hate that series now.

I am excited for New Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 8 though.

I hope they announce a Wii U price drop soon.  They ain't gonna do too well this holiday considering most of the big games are slated for Spring next year.

 
Yeah the original KH was a miserable play, never finished it or touched the series again afterward.

Unlike Whoknows, I can actually admit to them. Is he done with Remember Me yet?

Also, I bought Catherine. Mostly for the Laura Bailey but not really.

 
Bayonetta 2 looks good.  I still don't know why it's only on Wii U.  Doesn't make sense to the core Nintendo audience.
