I'm loving Animal Crossing. It's the first I played, just relaxing and great for vegging out by running around fishing, catching bugs etc.

I got my downpayment done on the house, working on paying the loan off so I can expand it. Just got my approval rating up to 100% so I should be able to start doing Mayor stuff tomorrow hopefully (the assistant said it would be at least a day, could be a few)

PS4 UI looks like a UI. At least it's not XBone/360 UI.

I have no real issues with the 360 UI beyond having too many adds.

PS4 UI looks pretty decent. Anythings better than the PS3 one, I hate that thing. It's ok on my Standalone Sony Bluray player, but terrible for a game console.

Both systems need to add some system of folders or something for organizing games. Just having them all in a big list is terrible, and will only get worse as we start getting more and more downloaded games.

I've never been a big fan of KillZone, prefer Halo by far for sci-fi shooters. Killzones pacing just never felt right to me and I play A LOT of FPS games.

I just started up Animal Crossing, and once again my fruit is Apples. In all four of the games, my fruit has always been Apples, I never get other fruit lol

Yep, it's super helpful too!

While it is useful, I wish it was far more robust than it actually is, especially for sorting.

They still didn't even have an alphabetical sorting option last time I checked!

Still need a better store, better features like party chat, cross game invites (I think they did add those though), less steps needed for background downloads etc. And I like the UI video as it looks like all of that stuff is going to be there and be at least as slick/intuitive as the 360 UI.

Press Triangle to change sorting.

You can go to any game, press triangle, select info, then give it a category.

Then you can set the sorting to categories.

I have folders like "Favorites", "Focus", "PSN", "PS3", "PS2", "PSOne", "Classics", "Fighters" etc.

And I don't think the 360 UI is slick or intuitive. :lol: Tomato, tomato, right?

MS announced the countries where the Xbone will work at launch, and its all the major markets except Japan. I know they have never done well in Japan, but to not try at all? If I lived there I would feel insulted and disrespected, knowing the Xbone will work in Russia and Australia but not Japan.

They don't. 360 only sold 1.6 million units to date in Japan to 9.3 million for PS3 and 12.7 million for Wii. Hard to say if it's even profitable for MS to bother over there.

Your IP address has a general location identified with it. Japan IP addresses will show as being from Japan, thus they will be blocked from the XBone servers.

Same reason that some people can't buy things on Steam and will pay you to gift it to them.

It's been on sale so many times for so much less that the MRSP for that game never mattered.

$39.99 is a pretty alright price. You know it's going to go digital and be on sale in no time, too. Neither are going to end anytime soon. The comic's crazy far ahead of both and the game actually takes place in the comic's universe, not the TV show.

I played the crap out of Melee also. Sadly only put a little bit of time into Brawl. If the online worked better I would have put way more time into it, even if the gameplay systems aren't as good as Melee's.
