Hank mastered the art of quoting a lot of posts.Alright, not quoting again because there's a lot of posts lol.
It's nothing like 64 really, but IMO is the closest thing to SMB3/SMW that's came out since those games. Really feels like turning those games into 3D, as it's short, linear levels with good design and power ups etc. Not the sprawling levels you explore for stars like 64 or Sunshine, or even really the SMG type levels.SM3DL seems a lot closer to the stuff that made up SM64 to me but with some nice additions... so I'm hopeful I'll like it best of all the 3D mario games, at least since SM64.
Same. I played the first on PC back in college. Never got around to the 2nd. Third I didn't play as I don't have a gaming video card in my PC. Just whatever display adapter was built in.I am interested in Diablo 3 console edition. I hope there's a demo.
Link? I'm still trying to sort my feelings out on it, but all I've seen is CG I wasn't a fan of and some battle against a dragon that looked like a musou game instead of an action game with touch QTEs.Watched a 15-min video of the Bayonetta 2 demo, and its lookin pretty damn slick, guys.

Didn't watch the stream, but if I was inside that sculptor's studio, I'd be constantly asking them why PAKs are so much worse than the old-style Play Arts-- sure, the sculpts are generally nicer, but the paint jobs, joints, and prices have gotten worse. The peek inside of Play Arts Kai's sculptor studio was pretty sick though.
I won't deny that there have been some shitty ones out there (Kratos, Drake, Male Shepard) but overall I feel like the paint jobs have actually improved too. I don't know if they B-team some of em or what, but my MGS PAKs are some of my favorite collectibles ever. Which ones were you disappointed with, out of curiosity?Didn't watch the stream, but if I was inside that sculptor's studio, I'd be constantly asking them why PAKs are so much worse than the old-style Play Arts-- sure, the sculpts are generally nicer, but the paint jobs, joints, and prices have gotten worse. The peek inside of Play Arts Kai's sculptor studio was pretty sick though.
After buying and being disappointed by a couple of PAKs, I'm done with that line.
Square Enix's trading figures and Dragon Quest products still tend to range from good to fantastic, though, so all is not lost with them.
GOTY.So. Octodad. Uhhhhh... Da fuq??
Skip Diablo III and go back and play 2, almost any decent modern computer should be fine running it since it's 13 years old, and I personally think it still holds up and know for sure it's a far far better game than 3.Same. Also very very true. Also Torchlight 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Diablo 3.
Both handheld NSMB games felt off to me, especially the one on the DS. That one felt especially floaty, and the design of those games just seems lacking. The Wii and WiiU entries do a much better job of recapturing the feeling of a classic 2D Mario along with adding some new creative powerups and levels.Didn't like NSMB at all, felt off.
SMB3 = Best SMB there ever will be.
I can definitely get behind those crits. I generally tend to be alright with the knees and elbows, but most of the franchises I buy into have kneepads or robot legs or some shit. I think their Sakura is a step in a better direction, but they've certainly got some issues. Figma on the other hand. I'm looking at my Link right now and he's as gorgeous as the day I got him. Can't wait for Samus. The Front Mission Evolved (Enyo) and Halo (Spartan Mark V, exclusive black version) PAKs I have are bloody awful compared to my older Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts Play Arts. On top of that, PAKs by themselves often cost between double and triple what Play Arts did, which certainly doesn't help. There are some recent PAKs that look really nice (Sarah Palmer being the main one of interest for me), but the prices are too damn high for me to take another gamble with them; I'd much rather get a couple of figma for the same price.
They also have the ugliest knee joints in existence, which are pretty much standard across the whole line-- another reason for me to avoid them altogether.
Oh, and I meant to link this here earlier, but I forgot; it's a good article -
PS4’s used game policy isn’t “because some other company is doing something”
I think NSMB worked at the time because it was a nice throwback to 2D as there hadn't been one since the 16-bit days. NSMB 2 was just so uninspired and combined with NSMB Wii (which was great) and NSMBU (also great) it was just overkill and something Nintendo isn't known for, Sure they will cram Mario down our throats with things like party and sports titles but those core awesome platformer titles that are rarely even on other consoles we get only every half decade or so usually,Both handheld NSMB games felt off to me, especially the one on the DS. And I absolutely love SMB3. Probably the first game I ever really got into. It's easily my favorite outside of the Galaxy games.
Well I think anyone who honestly thought this policy hadn't already been in place doesn't understand how business works. They can't change plans on a dime like that. We were all just happy that was their plan. The Front Mission Evolved (Enyo) and Halo (Spartan Mark V, exclusive black version) PAKs I have are bloody awful compared to my older Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts Play Arts. I'm on my mobile and not sure how to post video from it, but the Bayonetta vid is on IGN.Link? I'm still trying to sort my feelings out on it, but all I've seen is CG I wasn't a fan of and some battle against a dragon that looked like a musou game instead of an action game with touch QTEs.Watched a 15-min video of the Bayonetta 2 demo, and its lookin pretty damn slick, guys.

Haven't met me, broI'll be getting Origins because my wife is the biggest Batman fan I've ever met. Our wedding had a Batman theme...
True. I mainly linked to it because it's a good, informative article in general, and probably the best I've read so far this E3.Well I think anyone who honestly thought this policy hadn't already been in place doesn't understand how business works. They can't change plans on a dime like that. We were all just happy that was their plan.
Not yet, but planning on getting my first tats in the fall! Bat symbol on my left wrist and a triforce on my right wrist. Also, Doctor Who and ME? Sounds like an awesome lady! I plan on getting the Paragon symbol and maaaaaybe YANA tats sooner or later.Do you have a Batman tattoo? But then again my wife also has a Mass Effect & Doctor Who tattoo in addition to those...
Hank is right with the * that SMW is equal to SMB3. Both are pretty much perfect and utterly fantastic.I think NSMB worked at the time because it was a nice throwback to 2D as there hadn't been one since the 16-bit days. Not me. I am not a fan of Divekick. I can't believe it actually exists and is getting all this attention.Divekick...Da fuq???
Live Dr. Shoals...oh gawd how corny and awful.
Is this a real game??? It's sooooooo shitty.
GGT will love this.
Sure, if it looks good. Might not be a traditional NG (new generation) game, but I don't have a problem with that if I like the gameplay. Need to see gameplay though.People are actually talking about buying NGZ?
Agreed on NSMB Wii -- it felt more classic than NSMB DS did and I enjoyed what I played of it. I was hoping NSMB2 would be more like the Wii game than the DS game. You don't seem to have thought so, but I'll give it a shot still sometime. Both handheld NSMB games felt off to me, especially the one on the DS. Dadliest Catch, mang. Don't sleep. The Tomb Raider PAK I got with the Tomb Raider Special Ed is pretty good.

The DLC mostly sucks. I've come to realize that. The Harley thing was okay, but the rest with the challenge maps loses it's appeal quickly. I got about 1/3 of the way through part of Catwoman's combat before I got bored and have since sold the game again.I'll be waiting for that batman then. I still need to finish the DLC from arkham city I bought it all and never even played it.
Sounds hot. Pics?!I'll be getting Origins because my wife is the biggest Batman fan I've ever met. Our wedding had a Batman theme...
