I think if you bought a Nintendo product you probably should have expected that you wouldn't be getting great third party support.

But I'm pretty kray.

Nintendo is having trouble trademarking "The Wonderful 101" because it sounds similar to "The 101."

...what?

I guess I could see the former title being used as some sort of sequal/continuation for the latter.

But what?

I liked the game back on my gamecube, with Link in it.

I'm supposing the games are going to forego their console specific characters (Spawn/Heihachi)?

Link will surely NOT be in this.
Shit, I want Spawn in it. He better be in. I would say that if he's not in I won't buy, but God knows that if it has online play there's no way I won't be buying it. Nightmare all day, errrrday.

Edit: Totally missed where it said online. Okay, I'm in.

...why are peope complaining about a Wii U verison?

Like, really?
I'd pick it up if I ever got one.

That's okay Hank, I happen to like my limbs intact.  But the gesture was nice ;)

Been playing Jamestown. My hands are sore and I'm seeing bullet hell patterns in my head @_@

Unless you include their handhelds and happen to like JRPGs/Japanese games in general...

True dat frostybro.  I haven't played a single FG with any of y'all.

because I'm afraid of getting my ass handed to me.

It's tempting because of classic Kilik,... but I don't know... I have more than enough fighters that we never play.
Very true. I play more fighters alone these days than with all of you. I miss you all terribly bad.

You should play with us! We won't completely destroy you.

It kills me to see all the Wii U hate online... I was extremely skeptical of the system at first but I got a nice bundle of the deluxe version w/ 4 games for $320 and I love the system. Obviously right now the game catalog is not MASSIVE but I am finding out more and more that there are hidden gems.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on the system has all the extras and Tekken Ball and it recently price dropped... Sonic All Stars Racing is so underrated... Monster Hunter is great, of course Mario U is awesome. I heard that the Warriors Orochi game is fantastic and I gotta pick it up.

My point is, you should atleast try it out for an extended period before you judge it. I was as judgmental as anyone with it before I got one but I love it and am extremely happy that I bought one.

I don't know.

Three of those games you mentioned I can get on any other system. A bonus mode or character isn't really gonna tip the scale. And to make the stereotypical agruments, the Mario game is like all the Mario games before it and Monster Hunter is niche as fuck.

I have nothing really against the system. I'll end up buying it for the SMTxFE game, Bayonetta, and that new Monolith joint amongst other things. Just don't really see anything great about it right now which is standard for any system near launch and I think it's pretty kray to jump in on those things in the early stages like that.

I'm judging it based solely on the game library. So far all I see is shit ports, Nintendo games, and about three good third party exlusives. Two of those third party exclusives being published by Nintendo themselves. Don't know if that actually counts as third party, but whatever.

Well, like I said, just give it a shot if you have the opportunity. I got my bundle from Craigslist. I am really enjoying the system so far, and even ports of other games are more enjoyable on the system with the gamepad.

EDIT: To the guy above, I mentioned that game because it has the DLC they made for it and I believe extra game modes on the Wii U version.

I really didn't need you to get egotistical about network infrastructure on fighting games. Was just pointing out the extras on the Wii U version. Jeez I swear some people and their negativity.

Could anyone here convince me to get Tales of the Abyss for 3DS? I'm just curious as to what people think of the game. I know it's a PS2 port, but I absolutely loved Tales of Symphonia's combat and I heard the combat in this one is extremely similar. I have a $10 off a used game coupon so I could get it for around 15 bucks, just wanna hear from someone here what they think of it. Can't find much on YouTube about it that is decent.
As somebody else said before, if you loved Symphonias combat pick up Abyss, it's a great game. The 3DS version basically gets better load times but loses the local co-op, I had a lot of fun running through it on my 3DS though and I definitely recommend it for $15.

I'm in the comon I want Link on Wii U boat >.<, I had the original on both GameCube and Xbox due to Link and Spawn!

TTT2 on WiiU?

With Nintendo's lack of account system and brilliant online infrastructure? Yeah, I'll stick to PS3 for fighters, thanks. :p
You can make an account on Wii U now though, and use that to access the Miiverse on PC and such, they are getting a lot better in that aspect!

You get used to the negativity :p I have a Wii U myself though and I really like the system. It's probably the system that has the most games coming out on it that I want right now as well, but as you said the games just aren't all out yet!

I have to show that figure to my friend, he'll definitely buy it.

Also, my G700s that Logitech sent me due to my other mouse breaking got here already, that was faster than stuff I actually for the shipping on! Great service by Logitech again!

No shit, man. I can't wait. I'm still really excited for Bass to drop this month, and if they go through with making Vile's ride armor, I'll lose my mind,
