I had no internet until like xbox 360 came out. So yah I had no problem with their reviews pre 2006.
God hand is so good capcom pretty much threw that IP in a vault and said we're never going to do better then this and then it threw ghosts n goblins and mega man and UN squardon and power stone and rival school with it to keep it warm. ^___^ <3 capcom

I'm not sure if I like Sega buying out Atlus. If they actually localize their games, sure, it's amazing. They actually localized Hatsune Miku which many thought would never happen, so who knows just what exactly that means for us.
Hopefully they realize that Atlus are great doing their own thing, though they should think about bringing out that new Persona game already. Shit will make them money.

I had 56k like every casual but I rarely logged on. It took so long to look at porn I had to use limewire and constantly got infected with viruses.
Don't we have the other Yakuzas though? I'd rather they localize Miku over Y5. If anything, Miku's success might convince them to bring over Yakuza 5.They still havent localized Yakuza 5 sothem.

the only problem with dialup was the time it takes connecting online, and being disconnected regularly at times

Instead of getting GTA V I pricematched Disney Infinity to $50 at Walmart and went halfsies on it with my little brother. Definitely decent so far. The opening for that game is made to make you want to spend money, though.

At Walmart you can just grab things and tell them random prices and they'll pricematch it for you. Dude didn't even bother looking up what I pricematched the game to tonight. I think I may go back for some more characters tomorrow.
I've always thought that the auto aiming in the R* games has been kind of a dumb feature myself, usually turn it off and go to the "expert aim" or w/e it's called.

I've never understood this either, I mean I'm all for watching like a trailer/a part of a level to see how the game looks, but why watch the full game/a bunch of it when you could just be playing it?!
I don't see how people can think Nintendo is going down that fast/much, they have so much money in the bank and just because the Wii U isn't doing that hot doesn't mean much with how many copies of the 3DS they are selling easily.
I wonder how much Sega buying them will have to do with game platforms, I would think it would lead to more multiplatform games but then a lot of their stuff is exclusive to one system only, it also means that Fire Emblem/Shin Megami game is now another Nintendo/Sega crossover :O
I'm all in for FU Sega mode. Ruined Valkyria Chronicles now they're going to kill Persona so supposedly Atlus USA can make mobile games?! Catherine and Persona 4/Golden/Arena have outsold just about ANY game Sega has put out in the last few years w/o Olympics in the title.

It's too early to say what Sega will do with Atlus, but don't think it will affect them directly too much. Maybe fewer projects will get released, but the big IPs and established series will stay. I dunno if Atlus will pick up as many obscure stuff from smaller devs now though.
Anyhoo, the restructuring will come from the parent company Index getting absorbed into Sega/Sammy, I don't think anyone from Atlus would get let go since they are farther down the chain and more into the operations side.

I went into Walmart, grabbed it for PS3, went to the Electronics desk and asked them to price match. Guy asked me what I wanted to pay, I told him $49.99 (forgot it was $59.99 on Amazon), and he rung me up right there. No further questions. Now that I've realized how lucky I was I'm wondering if I could grab a three character pack for $20 by asking them to price match or if I should just leave it be and wait for Infinity day at GS to grab Jack Skellington. I'm still amazed they let me have it for that much since it was tagged on sale for $74.99. It's definitely worth it for $50, IMO. Much, much more fun than either of the Skylanders games.
I'm also really looking forward to Wonderful 101. Too bad I don't have a WiiU.

If you want to get new games to get the best value out of that deal that sounds like a good combo, especially with Disney being on sale. Most of the other games I'd recommend can be had cheaper then 60 now (Mario, MH, Lego City, maybe Pikmin 3)

Yeah, it seemed like the best value to me, and I can't really think of anything else to get other than Disney Infinity for the third game. I already have the other 4 games you named. The only other $60 game I can think of is Splinter Cell, but I think I can wait for a price drop or Steam sale on that, and Disney Infinity probably won't be seeing any better deals than this for a while.
360 here, as always haha
Oh, yeah if you already have those 4 then that's probably the best bet, I've already saw Splinter Cell popping up for sub 40 on 360 at the AWD since it's already marked at $50 new (on the Wii U as well), so Disney is probably a good call

I'm gonna pick up W101, Pikmin 3 and something else (rayman? lego city? disney?) next week too.
GTA 5 is fun so far. Car handling is better. Aiming seems better too, although the cross hair is kind of hard to see. I like the protagonists so far too.
And they dumped them to the curb just like they did w/Valkryia Chronicles. I don't care about PSO 2 but its not good to have one of the oldest & most respected game writers (Jeff Gertsmann) talk shit about your company each week b/c you won't localize an online game that constantly has to ban Western players trying to play on the Japanese servers. That game was running in English at PAX 2011.
Of course they just put out a patch in Japan that fried people's PC's so yeah.
