GGT 268's most prestige member(s) bought KoFXIII on Steam

So, GTAV is pretty well done. Everything seems vastly improved, namely the driving and shooting. Every single dialogue encounter is expertly written with the cultures and emotions of the characters. Especially Franklin. Best GTA character ever. 

Also that West Coast Classics station is  :drool:

 
If I am super lucky I will receive gta V by Friday. The crap ups/USPS free shipping service is unreliable doe. I still haven't gotten my copy of kh 1.5 yet and I was supposed to get that last week. :(

I'm pretty sure the publishing contract between Sega and Platinum ran out and Platinum chose to be independent... which lead to MGR:R, so I'm okay with that. Just because they don't localize games that they don't expect to turn a profit on in other regions doesn't make them villainous. Based on the numbers Persona and other Atlus games have done here, I think it's a safe bet that Sega will be localizing most of what we'd want to see. The worst thing I can say about Sega at the moment is that they didn't bring Project Diva f over to the US on Vita -- which seems about as stupid as Namco doing the same with that One Piece musou game. Seriously, in those cases, the translation/localization is already done -- how much more could it possibly cost to put out a digital only version of the same game on a second platform? I can understand PSO2 not being localized more than that.

The bottom line is that if there is money to be made, Sega will publish/distribute a game to a particular region.

So again, I'm not worried, at least not when it comes to Persona 5, whenever that becomes a thing.

Holy fuck valley of defilement made me want to quit demon's souls finally found the boss area after almost 2 days of wandering the swamp.

Been alternating between SRIV and Xillia this week. I am finding that I really hate the Super Power Showdown missions in SRIV. I suck at them. :p

I just finished giving the Etrian Odyssey Millenium Girl demo a try...I like. I will probably get.

Also started up KZ Mercenaries Campaign. I was impressed...good shit, can't believe they squeezed that out of the Vita. That and Uncharted are two of the more impressive/wow games on the system IMO...

If you plan on grabbing it, just know that if you're going to play co-op during story mode that you need another character from the same movie series! My brother was really disappointed last night to find that we couldn't co-op in any of the included levels because we didn't have a second character from those movies.

I like the design of most of the figures, but Skylanders 1 looked and felt like a budget game stitched together by 5 guys over 2 months. Giants was so much better it was ridiculous and Swap Force looks infinitely better. Infinity's only problem with me is that it's too damn expensive. Every time I look at the price of a play set I can't help but wince. The characters need to be $10 and 3 packs need to be $25. I had enough of a hard time paying MSRP for the one extra Skylander variant I bought when they weren't on sale. I think the main reason I'm having a problem with Disney Infinity is that I was able to get every type of Skylander for so cheap before Giants came out. I think I barely paid $60 for my entire collection.

Goddamn Disney money-grab.  I really hesitated to pull the trigger on Amazon last night, so when DI went back up to $75, I wasn't really sad.

I still might get it during the B2G1 Wii U sale though.  I just don't know which titles to get.  I already picked up MH, Pikmin 3, NSLU, and Rayman on the cheap individually, so all I can think of right now is DI, W101, and Splinter Cell.  I think W101 and SC will be bombas that will be super cheap anyway, so I might end up just sticking to DI again if Amazon PM's next week again...

 
My GTA just showed up, even though it wasn't supposed to be here till tomorrow, maybe I'll give it a shot tonight when I'm on....

 
So guys, be careful with GTA5.  I heard it can cause you to become a gangster.

i preordered it too on consoles tho, man usps is trolling me, they only delivered one copy of my gta v, left me a "sorry we missed you" post card, telling me to go to my local post office to pick up the other copies.

It was $800M in retail sales day 1 but R* only saw about $200-$400 in money from those sales after Sony, MS, & retailers get their cuts.

Production costs and the brand quality. Rockstar has established themselves with a certain quality and to repeat that year after year is not an easy task for the games that they produce. So instead their plan has been to produce different games each year.

Also it is reported that including marketing costs, GTA5 cost roughly 250 million.

Yup $12 a month for 2 games is a pretty damn good deal plus you get 10% off if you've been with them for a year

Whatever I didn't get GTA 5 today I'm going back on demons souls
