Sega bought Atlus so they're still doing good.

They have products like Hatsune Miku and Sonic.

Probably one of the best developers/publishers out there that isn't Capcom.

Would love to see Nintendo go down that route.

if it i was sony, i would take control of nintendo through hostile takeover. then they would monopolize video gaming in Japan. It makes perfect sense for them, given the types of IPs nintendo Holds.

Except hostile takeovers in Japan are still considered a social and cultural no-no. It's just considered bad form by and large so it rarely ever happens. The government and banks usually step in before anything dramatic happens.

 
Knack is $39.99 on amazon right now.  I kind of want it, as I tried the demo and it was entertaining enough.  My kids enjoyed it.

This is really a $19.99 game though, so I may just wait for that.  It could also go PSN+ in the distant future, but definitely not right now since there's not much software for PS4 at the moment.
