We all definitely need to play Smash again though, that was a real lot of fun, and we had people leaving and joining so it was almost always full
Yeah that definitely makes sense, I think it's because when I've been playing online with some of my other friends they leave bots off and it makes it 1v1 sometimes, so I'm used to planning my attacks in that situation but then when I start to charger or dash, I get jumped/hit by somebody else and everything falls apart haha. I was getting back into the hang of it a little later again I felt, just have to adjust like Action said. Don't get me wrong, I was still having a blast and love playing me some Smash Brothers!I don't feel confident 1v1 at all. In groups I can set up smashes easily and tackle through crowds with my new forward B. Get it to 1v1 and I feel heavily restricted. I'm almost always the one that makes the approach and that basically boils down to using my forward air or my neutral air and hoping it doesn't get spot dodged (and that if it gets blocked I at least push the enemy away too far to punish me). Characters like Villager and Samus get plenty of time to prepare while I lumber around, too.
EDIT: Naturally, I feel better going up against someone like 'Dorf who has a lot of the same problems. Not having a projectile or much in the way of abusable super armour kinda sucks.
How does that compare to the first Dead Island? Much better, more of the same? It was alright but dragged on and didn't change up enough.I wanted to play Smash today, but I instead played a lot of Dead Island Riptide with my little brother. Man, that game can be surprisingly fun! It actually is so good that I'm going to attempt to pick up Borderlands The Pre-Sequel this weekend so he and I can co-op that next! Here's hoping he actually likes it!
