GGT #52 welcomes the glorious return of Clay Fighter on DSiware
So you want to be an irresponsible jackass? There's enough of those people in this country.
Well... I really just wanna play Dead Space

Law school's just a time killer. I think the stuff's interesting, and I like the pretension that comes with going to one of the best schools in the country, but man... I want to finish that game.
So I'm watching 16 and Pregnant, and I feel almost as worthless as the people on the show. Not because I'm watching this stupid show, but because I'm like "whoa, they think school's tough? I do too! And I also am discovering that I don't have time to do stuff because I'm so busy with shit. I'm just like them :("

and I'm not even joking.
fuck that show. My significant other watches it, and it features pretty much the dumbest of the dumbest people. "I'm pregnant, and now my life is changing"; what the fuck did you expect to happen?

Hey, accept my friend request on steam. Plz ?!?!?!?

I really want to have friends on steam, even though I can't play games on steam :((((((

Yeah, it's like, WTF did you expect? You let a dude nut in you when you're 16, now you're pregnant and your life will be shit and your kid's life will be shit and the father will bail on your asses.

Have fun living off of welfare, bitch.

Some things:

Phones are boring stop talking about them plz

Cheska was playing with herself? On that subject did she win the testee yet?

I got my e-rewards card and ordered that ESA Bundle, woot woot

I have not played a video game in 9 days

Watched the second episode of The Tester.
I like Triple Threat, haha; I'm glad she decided to tear Big Fazeek a new one, and have War Princess jump in for an assist. That guy is like a horrible combination of everything I don't like about some gamers and people in general. And, Samurai is probably the closest you could come to my personality, because I can totally see why he said what he said, and for me I guess that feeling kind of stems from having an almost non existent competitive drive, if other people aren't having fun I'm usually not having fun.

On the topic of reality TV, one night at the gym I was doing leg exercises and I saw a bunch of guys all stop to stare at a TV that was to my side and I couldn't see what was on, and I was like, "oh must be a basketball game or something." Then I do lunges out to where I can see the TV... and Survivor is on... :whistle2:s
Edit: Black Ops reviews are coming out and they are good. Very good.
Pay for play.

The campaign isn't good.

I got BBCS today btw, so we could play that too now. I screwed around with some of the new characters and so far I really like Tsubaki.

Shit, you finished it already??

I must wait for Amazon's artifical "we're-going-to-make-you-wait-a-week-because-you-cheaped-out-on-shipping"--excuse me, I mean FSSS--delay.
Yeah, everything is in place for CoD to be a 'freemium' game.
On the bottom of the multiplayer lobby it says " CoD Multiplayer, free with purchase of Black Ops!"

I think the campaign is decent so far, was happy to see
insane Russian Gary Oldman from World at War
return.

I did encounter one game stopping glitch in the first level - support character got caught on geometry and his dialogue was needed to trigger a scene later in the level. The checkpoint left him frozen in place so I had to start the game over.

Veteran is nowhere near as difficult as World At War fortunately. Enemies don't seem to throw grenades and as far as I can tell there's no monster closets going on. Actually it seems like the enemies are just terrible with the grenades - they'll accidentally bounce them off of the ceiling a lot and land nowhere near you.

I think that this was a dig at EA and their "online pass" system.

Remember how you said you tend to pick low-tier characters? ... Yea. :whistle2:#

The Tutorial mode's pretty good and give the challenges a shot too so you can learn some BnBs/combos. We shall fight soon!

Ok my roommate got the new CoD and I only played a few matches, but I guess I'm just curious as to why this one is considered so good? Graphics seemed to have taken a step backward and I'm not sure what's different about it aside from new perks.

I'll have to play more though. It's still fun in a CoD kind of way.
Playing Fallout 3 some more. Finished main campaign, bailed on Broken Steel to do some Anchorage fun. ^__^
I am glad I did that DLC first when I played the game. Getting the
Gauss Rifle & Chinese Stealth Armor
to use in the other DLCs was a good choice.

I need to give Fallout 3 another whirl before I start up New Vegas. Sadly I have to wait another 30 days to get back home to play. :bomb:.

Im SOOOOO close to platinuming Mafia II. I have to find 159 wanted posters and Im at 73 :bomb: I was hoping to get it done today, but since the second episode of the Tester came out today, I've been hella busy with that. I know you guys hate Playstation Home, but if you go to auditorium 8, they have our show playing and at the end of the episodes they show some outtakes. Some of them are really funny

Right now my PC is out of commission, and I'm waiting for a new graphics card to arrive to resurrect it. When its back in business it will be the first thing I do.

EDIT: just realized OSX has steam now.

Black Ops is the first CoD game I've played online. It was technically impressive but it seemed a bit "stale" somehow, I think I prefer BF:BC2.

Guys, when I said 'pay yo play' I meant it akin to 'payola'. The game isn't good enough to actually warrant an average score of 90.

I think the campaign on Veteran is ridiculous. They may have gotten of 'raining nades', but enemies have head seeking bullets, and will kill you seemingly out of nowhere.

In terms of bugs, I've had the same one. In addition to a Russian Ally just sit in one spot and refuse to trigger next scene(had to 'nade myself), and I had a white screen glitch after I died, where my only option was to restart the level.

I'm currently at the
Russian Missle Bunker
and there seems to be an infinite spawn in the tunnel.

Even I gave up on those Wanted posters - I didn't see any of them during the campaign and wanted nothing more to do with the game once the campaign was over.

Almost have the Platinum on Enslaved though - just need the rest of the masks, orbs, and upgrades I think.

Hmm... I think Guwange is out on XBLA now. That's crazy, yo. I don't have time to play it, but I'll probably buy it tonight or something.

Hey, it is at least a step up from Rachel in that version. But, ya it does seem like all the characters I like usually aren't considered very good, I tried Makoto as well and she was kind of fun. I'll probably try a couple more characters tonight just to see how they play. I tried Lambda but didn't really like her.

Black Ops seems decent. Played the Multiplayer for a few hours last night. Graphics seem like a slight step back, and the guns feel "light", other than that it was a lot of fun. Well that and the spawns still suck.

But the maps seem solid, not as many long sight lines so less games should turn into Sniperfests. Having the credit system and having to buy your weapons, attachments and perks is a nice added wrinkle vs. just getting them for completing challenges etc.

Haven't had a chance to check out the single player yet.

Treyarch games which are "built upon" (read: ripping off) the last successful IW game generally look like a poorly done reskin of the IW engine with time-period "appropriate" models.

W@W looked like a step back graphically from MW in my opinion.
This game looks like a step back from MW2 to me as well.
But if it's fun, I guess that's what really matters. ;)
That new crescent game that went up today on PSN ... it's fun but hard ... that is all.
I like it so far.
Has anyone played the new Fist of the North Star game? Is it better than Dynasty Warriors?
If you don't like the Musou games this one isn't going to change your mind. That being said, it is quite a bit different. Most of the game is set up more like a traditional beat em up, and it's more story driven.

Yeah, I skipped W@W after the beta for that reason. But took the plunge with this one since I was itching for another shooter now that I'm getting tired of Halo Reach. Though after one night of playing I'd say Reach is the better online game.

But Black Ops is fun despite the small steps back from MW2, so it's worth the purchase if you're a CoD fan for sure. Looking forward to starting the campaign and zombie mode.

That's the one thing about CoD that always has me going back to other shooters -- all the guns feel like toys or something.

CS and DoD's weapons sound great, and they actually have recoil :applause:

Yep, and that seems worse in Black Ops than in CoD4 or MW2 to me--but it's been a while since Played either. But I mean they feel lighter than the fake guns in Halo Reach for god's sake!

I get the feeling you or that 8 bit mickey wins the tester. That's my guess and I'm sticking to it.

Now that's just untrue

If Chest-ka really won The Tester 2, then she would not have publicly dissed Gran Turismo 5. :nottalking:

In seriousness, I root for our GGT compatriot and only hope for the best--go GGT!

True, I didn't play Rachel and even I can tell she sucks now. Makoto can be pretty fun, she has some mean corner combos. I'm not a fan of lambda either, I don't like playing patiently or zoning, it's boring.
PAY ATTENTION TO ME.

Goddamn
Ok.

So I was coming back from class and saw a dude in a powered chair drop his bag and go back for it. He got my attention wanting me to help him with it, so I tried to, because I'm not that much of a dick. But no matter how I put it on his chair, he told me it was wrong, and he was pretty disabled so all he could relay to me was "put it down here" and I just didn't get it. Eventually some saint stopped and together the two of us sorted it out, but the moral of the story is man it can be incredibly trying and difficult to help severely disabled people with stuff, my heart goes out to anyone who has a family member like that they have to take care of.

Donkey Kong Land III
Apparently, for now on I'm just gonna knock over every disabled person I see. There are a lot.
