I suck at 3D fighters as well. But I still enjoy playing them. I keep thinking that I'll get better at them.

if you or anyone else want to improve, the fighter thread regulars such as myself don't mind spending time to train you guys.

SCIV sig/avatar up, I'm excited to pick up the game tomorrow.

Played Mario Kart Wii online with CAG last night, along with Tekken 5: DR Online. Fun stuff. :D

as expected ;)

you not getting the game today? normally tuesdays are release dates but today is actually the street day.

I'm installing mine as we speak.
I'll be picking mine up after work tonight. I'll be on PSN at about 6. Who wants to be the first to beat me?
I'll be on single player 99% of today so this weekend will probably when I get online.
Hey kendal, you interested in the computer?

I'm getting SC4 around 5 today. See you guys online!~
I saw your comment in my blog. ;)

I just played some Battle Fantasia (PS3 Asia import). I'm going through Arcade as all characters.

I picked up my copy... Now to figure out what character I like to use. Maybe I'll go through the Arcade mode with everyone and see I like too use.

Really want to pick up SCIV, but will hold off for a bit. Have GTAIV waiting to start when I get back in town this weekend. Will play that and hope there's a deal on SCIV by the time I finish it (assuming I can get into it, couldn't get into GTA3 and never played the sequels).

Interested, yes. I am trying to allocate some monies for it. If you sell it before I get money or have other offers, by all means sell it.

I just beat Arcade mode with Yoda. The Apprentice was a pain in the ass to fight... Of course it could be my lack of skill.

Watched this video comparing Resident Evil 4 & 5.

Of course the graphics have been improved, but the surprising similarities to the gameplay seem very obvious, especially character animations. I'm assuming they are working with the same engine, just with enhanced graphics. Which isn't a bad thing, in my opinion. I think the game will still be awesome.

Hmm, so I would be your padowan learner?

My copy of SCIV is in transit. No idea when I'll get it--amazon shipped it parcel pool so it could be next week or later. :/

GRiD is hard, but so addicting. Played some Hot Shots and a little WoW too last night.

The 1up review by Mielke noted that it was a pain to unlock the Apprentice as he's hard and Yoda and Vader suck and you have to beat him with one of them.

weird how they made "Apprentice" much better than the Jedi Masters. As Donald Trump would say, "Vader, you're fired".
The final puzzles in Lolo 2 and Zack & Wiki are melting my brain. I think I need a break from those games for awhile @_@
Hmm... I should download one of the Lolos. I haven't played those in ages.

Z&W required an FAQ, otherwise I also would have lost my mind.
I heard Soul Calibur 4 on PS3 doesn't have rumble?
Neither does 360 apparently.

I hate using FAQs for these sorts of games, but for Lolo 2, I've had to run to GameFAQs twice today (I'm on the last set of maps), and will most likely have to do the same for the one I'm on now.

I've done all right in Z&W for the most part. What's annoying me at the moment is
I'm on Treasure Island and can't figure out how to light the damn torch! I have the lighter, but it isn't working :(

Just went and finished Lolo 2. I was so close to the ending, I figured I'd get it out of the way. Couldn't have done it without GameFAQs!

Now I have a headache @_@
How far are you Daroga?
I think I just got to chapter 6? Just got
the keys out of the tower
. Hopefully I'll have some time to play a bit tonight before bed. But, trying to figure out what on earth I'm supposed to be doing here now. The only thing I know for certain is that I'm preaching Saturday night and Sunday morning. Should probably just focus on that for a bit. :)

Any other GGTers get Blast Works for $10 at Best Buy? Mine should be here in a few days. Three cheers for botticus and finding that price reduction!

I decided to play Fire Emblem: Radiant of Dawn today (Gamefly rental). I played it for a half hour. It seems okay. It is my first Fire Emblem game so I don't know if it was the right one to judge the series on or not.

Seriously. The Apprentice is ridiculously powerful.
I just sent Rei a text...I wonder if he responds. :D

I am about to fire up some Izuna 2.
Oh I responded. I always respond...

Re:link - o_O

Anyway, got through that bit in Z&W. Still have a little ways to go, but probably won't wrap it up until tomorrow - while playing, my headache went away but now my arms are sore!

Crap, I gotta wait until tomorrow evening to pick up SCIV (not tomorrow morning). :whistle2:(

Played some SingStar 90's and SingStar on PS3. Even uploaded some videos.

So I'm not getting SC4 for at least a week, which is okay because I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow I guess. I'm seriously considering just saying fuck you to my family and staying home, I honestly don't think I can put up with my little bitch of a step sister for a week. (I have three, love the twins, hate the other.) I'm probably about to get yelled at because I made fun of her huge buck teeth and cursed at her. :D

So my 4th 360 just died. I put in Spectral Force 3, and about 45 seconds into the opening movie I hear this loud ass grinding sound. It sounded like someone was in the 360 scraping the disc with a knife. I panicked because I didn't buy the game. I had signed it out from work. I thought the machine was eating my disc, and I'd have to pay for it. Luckily the game was fine. I turned off the system, grabbed a cheap game (just in case) and tested it again. Now it just makes a beeping sound, and won't read any discs. Awesome Microsoft... Fortunately I have a second 360 to use while I wait for the other one to come back.

Oh and Soul Calibur 4 owns my face.

SCIV is hawt stuff.
I have a feeling Ivy isn't going to be my main, at least for a while, because she's hard as hell to master.
I'd imagine Taki/Tira/Ivy/Angol Fear are going to get most of my attention for now.
I also still have to beat story mode with everybody (6 are completed so far I believe).
I wish the training mode was like DOA4s or VF5s.
if you button mash try: Kilik, Maxi, Cervantes, or YunSung.
I'm gonna try to learn not to mash and get at least some basic combos down.
I'm gonna try to learn not to mash and get at least some basic combos down.
hmm... a good start has always been Kilik. he's very beginner friendly.

side note: yay! tomorrow is the last day of classes for me! look forward to finally focusing on doing stuff for Daroga plus doing DarthPuma's avatar. yay! no more pain after tomorrow! :)

A friend of mine grabbed Blast Works today.

What a badass game. It's a damn shame that game sold horribly. When I finally get a Wii one day, I think it's safe to say it'll be the first game I buy for it.
