When I was in school I had some friends that knew how to solder, but they nor the school never taught me. I took a look at the TEasy and dual strike hookup and it looks pretty straight forward. May have to do that.

If I can do it, you can do it.

I really had it done in about 2 hours, cause I was nervous. However, my chip hadn't been fully programmed for the dual strike board, so I ended up exchanging it. The exchanged board had a fried chip. :( After a ton of troubleshooting, the guy who makes TEasy boards sent me more chips for the dual strike... I changed that out and my stick works great.

Phreakazoid and bencao were supposedly making an all in one board. Not sure if they finished it or not yet.

Also had to contact Amazon because my kindle cover was shorting out my kindle so it was constantly rebooting, luckily a CSR without any major questioning gave me a full credit so I could get the more expensive lighted cover, hopefully that one will work better (I really don't need the light which it sounds like doesn't always work right, so as long as it doesn't cause my kindle to reboot multiple times per day I'll be happy).
 
I miss 5.1 sound. Had to return my headphones because I was low on money and being in an apartment, I can't rock a normal system. Maybe if I save up reward zone certs...

I've been in apartments and condos for over 10 years with a 5.1 system and never had any gripes. Just have to keep the subwoofer lower than you'd like and keep the volume at reasonable levels. The 5.1 experience is still there even if you can't blast it at high volume.

I don't have to worry about it as much as the high rise condo I'm in now has concrete floors and ceilings so the sound proofing is pretty good.
