GGT 91 is not gonna talk about Judy, but it will talk about David Bowie!

Yeah, same thing happened to me. fuck the Move patch that they make me get even though I do not have a Move.

Speaking of which, I had 512 mbs yesterday on my PS3, so I decided it was time to clean it off... I spent an hour deleting update data/installs from games I've rented/traded in and now I've got 57 gigs free.
I don't know if you've heard this (or even if you like MC Chris) but whenever he released this it made me want to watch Twin Peaks soooo much.

Not really a fan of his voice. Or that type of music. But that video was still awesome! I love his lyrics.

Ugh...warning for anyone playing Dragon Age 2...make sure you don't get into the story missions in Act 3 before doing the side quests - eventually there's one area that triggers the endgame which is also an area you need to go to to finish 3-4 side quests.

It also doesn't bother to tell you this unless you look in the journal before going there.
I was just informed that the RE5 move patch was only 16MB.
That just changes the controls though. I would imagine the Heavy Rain one is bigger because it changes all the on-screen prompts and each individual action.

Yea, I get that, but to have it all add up to 1145MB?
Put in Heavy Rain for the first time ... 1145MB patch.
You get a fancy new menu though.

Even though I liked the old menu better.

I did the patch and it was automatically set to move controls, so if you can't play it....fyi.
I only gift people games they don't want.
I totally don't want Bulletstorm on Steam. :bouncy:
Yea, I get that, but to have it all add up to 1145MB?
Well the button prompts do make up the whole game.

Fine, then I won't get it for you, damn.

Reusing assets is a no go?

I heard he REALLY doesn't want Flora's Fruit Farm.

But each prompt has a specific motion attached to it. I don't have a move, so I'm not sure how specific each motion gets, but I would imagine there would be a lot of them.
Hey, you made it very clear that you didn't want it.

You're not supposed to be excited to play a joke gift.

Another vote for Twin Peaks being the greatest TV series ever. My personal list would go...

1) Twin Peaks
2) X-Files
3) Lost (would have probably been number 1 if it was only 2-3 seasons)
4) Star Trek: TNG
5) Star Trek: DS9

Also, finally got 1k in MvC3. I played the #10 ranked dude on XBL and kicked his ass. Hell yeahhhhhhhhh. Busted up a few other first class players, and played a bunch of guys in the top 25 on the various leaderboards.

Also your placement of Twin Peaks above the X-Files only further confirms David Duchovny is even more awesome as a woman/transgender.

Haha he was great in TP.

Question: As a fellow TP fan, are people off their rocker when comparing Deadly Premonition to it? I thought DP (lol) looked kinda lame, but after hearing they have some story similarities I am intrigued. Do you think it is worth checking out? I tend to not like slower-paced games.

The gameplay is ass, but if you can tolerate that, it's supposedly interesting.
Attention people who have the PS3 MvC3 SE... the jill/shuma code is now active, GO GET 'EM!
Ah so I can sell it now? yay!
Ah so I can sell it now? yay!
There was no reason to not sell it before. I sold mine the week it came out.

also can anyone tell me if STALKER Call of Pripyat makes it easier to find your way around than SoC? I am getting lost as fuck in this stupid talk in SoC.

Yeah, but you'll take a hit on value probably, unless it's PS3 and you post it immediately (since PS3 is active and people won't be able to freely purchase them until tomorrow night).

Well I would say it's definitely worth playing (as you could probably guess from my avatar). But you should try to not approach it as you would normally approach a game. The gameplay is not actually bad, but it is also not compelling on it's own. Most of the entertainment value is derived from the craziness of the game including the story and characters. I would recommend just going around town talking to people as much as possible. It is also a game that slowly grows on you as you play it. You will probably not like it much if at all for the first couple hours.

Deadly Premonition is in many ways a huge homage to Twin Peaks.
Thanks for the responses... last question... how long does it take to complete?
About 20-25 hours. But there are also a lot of side quests and stuff that could make it last as much as 40.

Deadly Premonition has controls from the 90s. If it was a PSOne game, I would say it ( meaning the gameplay) has aged poorly.

However, some people rub one out to that kind of thing, sooo... /shrug
 The GB guys got this in the mail:

I need one of those.

Except for

I thought the game played pretty much like a watered down RE4 for the most part.

I tried to download and I get "An error occurred during installation process."

So it downloaded but didn't install? Try again then. I'm playing as them right now.

That's not a good thing.
That's not a good thing.
I'm not saying the gameplay was good. But it was competent. As were the controls. Unlike the RE games of the 90s.

No, it's not downloading either. I click to download and it just goes straight to that error message. :(

I'd try to help, but I sold my codes... and I can't say I'm in any hurry to pick either Jill or Shuma up since I don't think I'd use them (I'd be more likely to like Shuma if he didn't b-boy style after his throws and hypers like a moron). I'll wait for a discount character pack unless the next set of characters is worth my buying each pack separately.
How does it work if you don't have the DLC but you want to play someone who does have it?
They're ON the disc, just like the first set of DLC costumes.
So when you play people who don't have them, you can choose them and they can't.
Then you beat their asses.
No, it's not downloading either. I click to download and it just goes straight to that error message. :(
Uh... hmm... try restarting your PS3? I have no clue why it wouldn't be working for you.
How does it work if you don't have the DLC but you want to play someone who does have it?
It doesn't matter, it's just an unlock code, both of you have the content needed on the disc apparently.
