Doubled up the order with Dr. Strangelove, as the SONYPIC5 coupon works on it. Took $10 off Ghostbusters and $5 off Dr. Strangelove.

$27.48 for both movies, not counting any further reductions due to the pre-order guarantee. Thank you very much.
 
I figured with a coupo that i'd have to cancel...much like the ECA discount...but it still shows up at 19.99 .....did they fix this in error?

The real interesting thing is if they "accidentally" forget the extra $5 when they process my order. Order confirmation email shows -$10 and -$5 on the order, so that'll be what I argue with if they "fix" it.
 
Maybe it's a one time use coupon then...and that's why it didn't work the 2nd time I tried it. Good to know it's still alive then!!
 
Just worked for me, I haven't cancelled my $14.99 order yet in case it wasn't working, but both coupons stacked..

Is Amazon pretty good about honoring possible glitches like this? $9.99 is awesome but I'd hate to lose a $14.99 "guaranteed" order..
 
Couldn't resist @ $10. Threw the movies I had with my Prince of Persia order in there as well - Flags of our Fathers, Searchers, Ray and Ghostbusters for $25.61. Every time I get out Amazon pulls me back in!
 
Bit on this with Dr. Strangelove for $27.50. I don't normally buy blu rays, but these are fantastic films and certainly a great price for new releases.
 
Is the GHOSTBLU code only good for a one time use. I had ordered something with my order and I wanted to get something different with it but didn't wanna cancel incase they fixed the glitch so I added ghostbuster back into my cart and it automatically takes off the SONYPIC5 but won't allow the GHOSTBLU code as well.

I'm scared to cancel and reorder incase the stacking glitch doesn't work anymore.
 
I like the movie a lot, but I must admit, I've had the DVD since it came out, and I've never even opened taken the plastic wrap off. How much more likely am I to watch it, just because it's HD?!?
Kind of torn on this one. But $10 sure is a good price.
