i think she's a he. call it my womanly intuition or something. but the writing style seems to be trying overly hard to sound female. getting told i can't go a day without fashion? AWESOME. that means i can sleep in for an extra hour and not come home with blisters. don't get me wrong, i own my share of (20-ish pairs) of 4" (or higher) spikey pointy (some animal print) heels.

It just seems like she / he is such an attention whore... who really makes a post saying they are back? Was anyone even asking where they went?

we're a decent way from the island. about 100 miles north of NYC right along the Hudson. goggle map Saugerties and you'll see. NY is actually one of the larger states. it spans about 300 miles across and 400 miles north/south. to the place where you'll be on the island, it would be about a 3 hour drive (mostly due to traffic)
 
UPS fucked me again.

Phone was to be delivered today, tracking says it was out for delivery, and then now it's back at the sorting facility.

They're fucking terrible. It's already 5 days late.

Zewone, that sucks, I ordered my phone today at 11:35 am and it's set to be delivered tomorrow before 3pm. But yea, UPS is balls, I like FedEx and DHL much better.

That happen to me with my tims, but UPS claimed to come to my house 3 times and then sent it back to Timberland forcing to rebuy them and ship it thru FedEx. fuck UPS.

It just occurred to me that using Last.fm will show people my taste in music. iTunes just decided to play two Rob Thomas songs in a row. This could be an issue. (FYI, it was the demo of "Bent" and a cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' "1979," both from his iTunes Original album. That's not too bad...right? :oops:)

I think Ramsay's just a great judge of how much shit one person can take, and he can push them to their edge and bring them back before they quit. It's how he whipped a ton of those losers from last season into shape.

Worst case, you could've hit the little reset button. As long as you know the cipher for the encryption base, you can set everything back to where it was relatively quickly in most cases.

for an *amazing* grilled cheese, get some thick-cut white bread (around here it's called Texas Style) and toast the bread first. then spread on some butter/margarine on BOTH inside and out of the bread and put on 3 slices of cheese after the butter has melted in. at one point when i was babysitting for a 5 year old, he made the mistake of telling his italian mother that he wanted me to come over because i was a better cook than her due to my grilled cheese sammich skillz. needless to say, that was an akward situation. she's actually one of the best home-taught cooks that i know.

Off to play some Indigo Prophecy. I got pretty into it early even though the controls are a bit clunky. Still a good story(thus far) and interesting gameplay though.

even if you're not a fan of the city, if you have someone that's never been there before, it's like required that you take them there once to do the tourist thing. if she doesnt want to, lionhart and i can give you the super special NYC insider 1-day speedy tourist tour that covers all of the major landmarks.
