Note: Be sure to play the God Mouse game in the secret section in order to unlock some music as well as wallpapers. Also be sure to pass by the Reccomend Ranking section to give credit to Grasshopper Sound Manufacturing Studios (same guys who did Killer 7) for working on the soundtrack for this game. In that section make it a point to listen to Chihuahua Soldier as it rocks in an odd way :)

Yes, this game looks freakin kick ass. I have confidence in Clover. I know they can pull off a great beat-em up, and I await the results. The game looks absolutely hilarious, and it saddens me that so few people seem to even know about it...

This game looks like it's going to be tons of fun. Going to pre-order it soon, especially if it's going for only 30 bones.

want it, despite the low score in Famitsu. Famitsu is wrong because Clover can't make a bad game. It's just a fact of life. Except any viewtiful joe game after 2, but those don't exist.

And if you're a fan of off-beat beat-em-ups and Grasshopper, pick up their Samurai Champloo game while you're waiting for Godhand. That one didn't get near the attention it deserves.

My 1 concern from these videos I've been watching are it appears to be just a few characters fighting in a restricted area. Is that all this game is going to be? The backgrounds seem kind of bland. Other then that the game's fighting system seems pretty awesome, bitch slap ftw.

You can explore quite a bit in the game, but yes, it's primarily fighting (thus it's a beat-em-up).

and I didn't realize it was going to go for $30! I was planning on it being $40, but at $30 it's a steal!

I am going to get this game for sure, hell i would have gotten it for 50 bucks, but for 30, its a damn steal. The only concern i have is that it could be kinda short.

I don't appreciate the comedy thrown into the game. I love a laugh, but they take the liberal comedy overboard. So the verdict: I won't be buying the game. Don't get me wrong. I love the clinch knees into suplex (reminds me of Double Dragon days), love the jump kicks, I love the stylish Fist of Northstar look. But personally, the comedy is a turn off. Homosexual villains, spanking girl-baddies, SLAPPING, those are dumb elements. Looks like a game with good core gameplay, but too much useless frosting around it. I'll pass.

useless? I think comedy is a strong core of the gameplay. heck, there'snot enough comedy ou tthere in gaming... too many serious titles.

It looks awesome and personally I like the off-beat comedy. I agree with Relentless, there's not enough comedy in games these days.
does anyone know if this game is short or not?
looking at my time I have available for gaming now I see it dosnt really matter, though I can't offer you an answer... sorry.

Can we get this anywhere other than EB/Gamestop? I'm trying to buy as little as possible from them but I'd love to pick this game up.

I'd assume it will be sold everywhere, I'm pretty sure it's not an EB/Gamestop exclusive.

Game is shipping tomorrow though. I ordered it online a few minutes ago. I haven't read any reviews on it at all. I hope I don't regret buying this game on a whim.

I'll remain cautiously optimistic about it. It certainly looks awesome, but 3D beat-'em-ups suck. I'll wait for some reviews.

Gamespot = 8.0

Wow, IGN giving it a 3 with even a second opinion flaming it. I mean... wow. I already started a bit of steam in one of these threads talking about how the game looked overrated, but even I thought it still looked like maybe a rental, but a 3... from IGN. I'm speechless.
IGN = 3.0

WTF?
Uhhhh....wow. I dont which review I should care about. Probably neither since I already paid for the game, so when it gets to my house I'll just play it for myself and form my own opinion.

EGM gave it a 6, 5, and 8.

It seems like the game's one of those you either love it hate type of thing, though it seems that IGN's the only place to come out saying that they hated it.

Well, the game is crazy, and cheap and...

That commercial was even crazier.

I don't care if it sucks, it has to be great, even as the ultimate crappy game.

this game looks pretty horrible. Beyond the quirky value, the environments are real bland, the camera sucks, and it just looks repetetive. I get the whole comedy thing, but I don't think I could get past the gameplay to enjoy it. Looks like another clover bargain binner. Too bad, the studio does such great games sometimes.

I just finished the first level and I must say, this game is tough. You have to be really careful how you set up your technique, or you're gonna get you ass handed to you on a silver platter. Also, be careful about conserving your roulette attacks for the demons or for crowd control.

I'll play some more after I get out of class.

Got mine yesterday afternoon and put about 3 hours in... it's a blast. I can see how the average gamer would hate it, though.

I like the camera because it keeps the action up close, but it does mean you have to watch your radar. The combat itself is crazy old-school fun.

My only complaint thus far is that most the cutscene humor has fallen flat for me.

Edit: The mission titled, "Giant Enemy Crane", combined with the racing dog, "Massive Damage" is just greatness. XD

Remember, IGN is the one that gave KHII a 7.6 because they wanted attention. Sure it wasn't the best but it is more of an 8.

I just beat the game, it clocks in around 7+ hours which is not bad. Overall I had a blast with the game and it was definitely worth the money.
