GOG Deals Thread

For some odd reason, I found out about the Banana Slug some time in high school and it stuck to me. I think I saw it on a hat and was like "Is that really a mascot?" It might also be because I went to a high school nicknamed Poly that had the Parrot as a mascot and Halloween colors (Orange and Black) so I sympathize with odd mascots/colors.
Are you sure that you didn't find out about it from this?

I'll have to politely disagree with you on that:

Aside from Cheaplikeafox trying to figure out where I live (and me complying), I say today has been the first generally on-topic day in over a week.

Not bad, eh?
Squirrel's just trying to come in here and kill the fun. Banana Slug trivia will probably save someone's life one day.

The real reason I dislike it, though, is simply because it's ALL you hear console-kiddies talking about [...]
Um, what? I don't think I've ever heard a single primarily-console-user ever talk about Minecraft unless it was brought up by somebody else first, except back when it first came out on the 360. Minecraft is pretty exclusively a PC gamer topic in my experience.

I have family in Modesto, LA, and Sacramento and friends in San Francisco. For some odd reason, I found out about the Banana Slug some time in high school and it stuck to me. Orange and black are the BEST school colors. Ever.

To me "console-kiddie" also refers to any PC gamer whom ONLY plays either:

1.) Some generic FPS game,

2.) Garry's Mod,

3.) Rust/DayZ, and/or

4.) Minecraft

on their Windows machine.

wat

Also, in that case, it doesn't apply to a PC gamer who only plays one of those categories on Mac/Linux/etc.?

Also, you misused "whom."

Also, you misused "either."

...aw, crap, my inner grammar nazi is clawing its way out again. Quick, somebody change the subject to boobs!

1.) My bad; Cheaplikeafox was right, I do need some sleep.

2.) Again, my bad... Tired + typing hastily = SHOULD JUST NOT EVEN POST...

3.) How did I misuse "either?" I'm curious to know, because I'm a grammar nazi, as well (when I'm not half-asleep, of course).

I get it, because the chick in the middle is wearing orange and a lot of the women around her are black.

...wait, I don't get it. At all.
You don't have a Netflix subscription (or just keep up with general pop culture trends), do you? :speaktothehand:

Oh, it's just that either implies a choice between two options, and you gave four.

AND THIS ISN'T HELPING, why aren't we talking about your daughter's boobs!?

Who has time to watch TV when there are game prices to keep track of?

Kinda like how all of his Steam reviews crush the hopes and dreams of new indie developers ...
Actually, now that you say it... I do *have* to agree with you on this (sorry MrNinjaSquirrel, but you can be a bit too brutal/cynical sometimes).

Also I'm VERY afraid of any attempts that may be made on my life after posting that last Youtube video, so *I'm going into hiding somewhere in the Canadian Rockies.*

Let's see how many of you geeks get that one...

To all the GoG DRM-FREE fans...

Risen 2: Dark Waters - Gold Edition (with all its DLC) has now joined GOG.
It's $11.99 this weekend.
That's 60% off its normal $29.99 GOG price for this weekend.

And, here's its page on GOG:
Risen 2 - Dark Waters: Gold Edition -> GOG Game Page
Well, if Deep Silver is committed to bringing games to GOG, I might wind up grabbing a (fourth) copy of SR3 when that gets released.

...because. Um.

Hold on, I'm sure I can think of a reason.

No reason required here.

(Says the person who has bought Mass Effect 2 six times.)
