I've heard good things about rFactor, but mainly as a game that can take advantage of the G25 wheel. SHOULD have bought one of those from Dell when they had them at $188, but didn't realize how good a price that was at the time...

The iPod dock certainly is a good price too. Anyone have one of those? Thanks OP!!!
I'm definitely picking up AoE2 Gold and AoM Gold. For 8 bucks each, you can't go wrong!
Same here. If you're up for some games sometime shoot me a PM.
has anybody tried that Razer Diamondback DeathAdder Mouse?
I read a review a little while back that said its a fairly solid gaming mouse, although it has strange design where it flares out at the front which might seem strange if your accustomed to a standard mouse.

I noticed that AoM gold has the GotY box. Anyone know if this one has the CDkey problem (i.e. you can't play online with AoM gold because they all have the cdkey which is blocked from the ESO servers)
still wishing C&C was Xbox 360 version though
Why not send an email to MS for customer feedback? Never know they might consider porting the game over. It's relatively easy to port PC games to XBOX, if they have a market demand for it.

lol well i meant i wish the deal was for C&C the xbox 360 version, its already out on the 360

I used to be in CAL at the I/IM level and as such I'm pretty good at FPS games, usually within the top 5 on any given server in HL2 engine games. The deathadder mouse is awesome if you're a competitive gamer, it NEVER skips and though the mous shape does take some getting used to, it ended up helping me be more precise as a result of the different way you grip it.

If you play fps games rarely then don't bother, but if you play them a lot it's definitely worth the purchase. I paid $60 for mine and don't regret it at all, it's the best gaming mouse I've ever used and I've had everything from the MS explorer 3 up tol the most current G5 and MX revolution, the Deathadder blows them all away.

Plus, razer's drivers are the best bar none for gaming. And this is their first mouse where the side buttons don't completely suck.
He married two guys... when I heard him talking about these things I certainly wanted to play it
:whistle2:#

HEads up AOE Collectors Edition may be $5 at your Target... that's AOE 1 and AOE 2 Gold editions.

$8 for AoM is tempting...but I've spent too much already lately.

It's the jewel-case version of AoM only that supposedly has this problem. This one *should* be safe, as far as I can tell from googling. I ordered one, but got slow shipping so the deal will be gone by the time it gets here.

It's hard to find the Titans for cheap these days, so I jumped on it.

No, I own the most recent release of AoM Gold (mine is in a DVD-hard case) and has the problem with both the original and the expansion.

However, the AoM gold prior to mine had the above box art, that might not have the issue. Which is why I was asking.

ma, since you ordered this, can you maybe post in the future or pm me if the copy you get works online? I realize this sale will be over by then, but i might still pay whatever price it is afterwards if it works online.

I found this on http://aom.heavengames.com/ might be able to help you.

If you have purchased a Valuesoft or Ubisoft version of Age of Mythology - Gold Edition recently, you may not be able to connect to ESO (Multiplayer). This is caused by every version having the same CD key, and only one person is allowed online with the same CD key at one time (hence the problem).

However, some good news comes from forumer TheViking84 who has found a solution.

If you call Microsoft using the Mythology support 1800 number and explain the issue, and give them the cd key, they will check and let you know that it's valid and then they will issue you a new cd key. Just reinstall with the new key and you will never have issues again.

To find the support number to call, visit the Microsoft Website.
