GoGamer - Prescription for Madness!

Anyone know how reliable these refurbished ps3s are and what kind of warranty they have? I've been looking into buying a backwards compatible unit on the cheap...

Just in case anyone doesn't know, Anno 1404 is the same game as Dawn of Discovery. Fantastic game.

Painkiller, the flight sim pack, and GTASA are all solid deals, too.

If you click on the product, they tell you how long the warranty is. As for reliability, who knows?

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (JC) for PC - What does the JC stand for? I've been wanting to play San Andreas again nowadays but I don't have a PS2 anymore :( . Probably bite on Painkiller also.. heard it's pretty good.

Paid 2.99 for dirt cheap shipping.
GTASA is a solid deal, but how much would shipping kill the deal?
Will that Sacred 2 expansion work with the North America version of Sacred 2? I didn't think it was getting published here, would suck to buy it and find out it's not compatible.

Picked up GTASA due to it not being much more shipped than the $5 I paid for GTA3 and GTAVC during the D2D sale. (Could this post possibly have any more pointless acronyms?)

Has anyone recently bought one of their "recertified" Xbox 360 controllers? I would like to get a second controller, and that price is tempting.

Hmm....$6.89 for San Andreas. Semi-tempted, since I'm sure it would be a good way to kill time if nothing else.

I was wondering that myself, I think the Anno 1404 (I) means its the import version since a quick google products search had that and Anno 1404 (Import Version) along with the regular title of the game. That's a good deal for that if it is indeed Dawn of Discovery US. I don't want to take a chance though.

Game software for the PC aren't region locked. I don't know of any thats ever been a case where it has been locked.

I own several UK/EU copies of games (most often indicated by the lack of ESRB rating and a PEGI rating symbol in place) and have never run into any problems. The only thing you'll need to watch out for is when updating the game or installing patches and to make sure you download the correct version of the updates.
