GT4 has a new feature which allows you to create "photos" by placing different cars at different locations. You can place your car in designated locations and rotate the car and the camera thats taking the picture.

If you have a USB printer, you can hook it up to your PS2 and print them out.

Here is one I made at E3:

Looks pretty cool, but what kind of paper did you use? That looks too sharp for normal paper, did you use the photo kind?

yea..im wondering the same thing about the paper? that is very nice for a print...if u didn't tell me, i would think that it would be a comp image

That's tight, I'm definitely gonna get this when it comes out. I haven't played a GT game since the first one.

Didn't know you can do that with a PS2. More games should incorporate features like this.

You know the one thing that I read that seems unappealing about GT4 (and I LOVED the past 3 games--- bought all 3 on the release dates) is the fact that when you crash you can't go over 30 MPH for 10 seconds. I understand this isn't a wallriding game and I see the good intentions, but it seems like it would make the game much slower and less fun :(

The people are not walking, and its printed on photo paper.
No, I do not think you can printout shots from replays.

Very Nice. Too bad my printer sucks. So essentially the photo feature is you picking your car and placing it on a still frame/pre-rendered background?

Yes, but you have choices of where the car and camera appears on the background and you can rotate both of them (and zoom the camera).

The pic looks cool, but this feature is rather useless.

How many people are going to waste the nasty amounts of ink needed to print something like that to only throw it away a few days later?

Are you serious? Damn, that's a serious let-down.

I'm really really pumped about it supporting the PS2 hard drive, b/c of the fact that car downloads (rumor) are going to able to saved to it. The other thing i'm hoping for is some sort of damage model, i swear that has to be why he's delaying it till nov. If that's not why he has some other surprise in store for us, i trust him a ton when it comes to cars.

What a dumb idea. No wonder it's taking so long to finish this game, they've got people writing code for this kind of crap. I'm waiting to get the hard drive because of this game, and the fact that I can't stand FF in any incarnation. I guarantee you that Sony is losing out in sales because of slow development in the HDD use area.

HA that is funny and i'm not making fun of you, but sony losing money is like president Bush being popular right now. DOESN'T HAPPEN! Do you have any idea how many things Sony owns? They are Japan's biggest C.E. and they're almost the biggest in the world, trust me Sony could give a flying ca-hoot about the HDD not selling well right now, and besides it's selling phenominal with FFXI
