Living next to a pasture full of goats and having to take care of them makes me so less interested in this goat craze.
yeah I don't get it either, goats are among the stinkiest animals. my neighbor has several of them and all they do is piss, shit and make damn noise all the time.

Well...I was going to buy M&MX:L but the damn 20% off coupon doesn't work. Not sure why since the game isn't on sale at all. Sure would be nice if they had some damn explanation for which games work and which don't.

Gmg's Criteria for Coupon Usage:

Do you want the game?

"Ye~" - No, the coupon doesn't work, fuck you

"Not even in a bundle" - Of course it does, our coupon works on nearly everything in our store!

It's actually built into the coupon. As GMG users add games to their carts, they are added to the excluded list.

They seem to have added most if not all the remaining Goat Sim achievements as rewards, making the game better than free if you do them all. Hopefully they'll backfill them if you already got them in the intervening period.

"We've backdated all rewards for those who bought from Coffee Stain studios and got the game early, so you won't miss out on any goating rewards. The developer has also highlighted some rewards as broken, but we're pretty sure that bugs, glitches and other randomania are a result of the physics engine simply being too real." from previous

6.25 GBP, so $10 dollah?

Greaat...

Well, I admit I didn't see that, but I think that quote was in reference to people who bought it before the official April 1 release. Anyway, this is the first time since the steam card beta that buying a full price (ok, 20% off) game could be profitable. *remembers $11 Faerie Solitaire foil*

In the meantime they still haven't backfilled ANYTHING of mine, are ignoring my ticket, and now they're working on Goat backfilling? Really?

fuck you Playfire. fuck you in the ass with a spiked baseball bat.

I think they are slowly changing from vouchers to rewards. If you look at the new batman game and sum the rewards, is almost 20% discount. They will keep the preorder discounts if they are provided by the publisher and will add rewards on top.

You haven't been around donkeys eh? Baby goats are cute and tasty.

lol, weird. I haven't gotten my money for the Goat game yet, but it usually takes playfire about a week to catch up with my rewards and deposit them.

Edit:

And lol, yeah mine too is showing .00 for it in the log, but it shows the other cash for it.

And then it will take you a couple months to find a proper sale to spend your rewards...

Only my back-dated Goat Simulator achievements are showing in the log currently but haven't been deposited yet. Nothing I got after release has shown up so far. Hopefully it all makes it into my account before 4/11 so I can use that Dark Souls II coupon they sent out today!

Sadly Age of Wonders 3 isn't on GMG.
Should be eventually. GMG is finally carrying M&M X: Legacy base, which is good since the DLC that comes with the + version is apparently pretty bad.

Also GMG does have The Banner Saga on sale now, and the voucher works, which brings it down to $13.40.

Just watched a video for Clash of Heroes. It looks really fun. Hopefully it'll get a GMG sale sometime soonish...and there will be something I can combine it with to exceed $10...and the voucher at the time won't exclude both titles.

:wall:

Heads-up - https://www.gameagent.com/ has BioShock: Infinite for $7.49 and the Season Pass for $5 today only. (it's a Mac store, but both items are Steam Play - PC/Mac).
I think I'm gonna wait until amazon, GMG (ha!) or Steam has it for the same price again. I'd like to try and keep my actual money purchases to a minimum, and knowing my habits, I wouldn't even play it until it went for that price or lower anyway.

Thanks for the heads up, hal.

Heads-up, Civ V's online will lose its server list in 2 months due to GameSpy's shutdown.

Chances are they'll patch in a solution, but there'll probably be a period of no MP aside from direct-IP games.

Bah! I wait all this time for a 2K sale and no XCOM. I guess it's because the complete edition just came out, so I'll have to wait a while yet. Need everything except the base game...so frustrating. I guess I'll pick up the rest of the Civ 5 DLC.

I have been waiting for this to go on sale so I can use my Playfire credit but knowing it has been cheaper and not being able to use the voucher is making me hesitate. And grumpy.
2K stuff will always be cheap/bundled eventually, it's just a matter of whether you want to play the waiting game and/or spend real money on it or not. I'm worried about my GMG credit going poof, so I'm fine having something to spend it on even if it's not the best possible deal.

CoH was one of my favorite games I played last year, and one of the few I actually finished. I highly recommend it, but you should wait as it goes on sale for $2.50 fairly regularly. Whatever you do, don't play the demo until you're ready to purchase the game...
