Only one I have from Be Mine 5 is Stranger's Wrath, which I'll probably give away to some random CAG that won't be buying the bundle. I'm very interested in X-Blades, I liked Blades of Time so I figure I'll probably like X-Blades.

It's disappointing to me that King's Bounty The Legend is included in it.. I'll most likely be getting Amazon's 1C Pack which will have that in it..
LOL, if I buy the complete bundle. I would own King's Bounty 4 times (Gamersgate, Steam, Gamefly)....Totally worth it (love King's Bounty) :applause:
Be Mine 5 is shaping up to be a great bundle for me, I don't think I own any of the games in it
Same here :)

I was literally like seconds away from impulse purchasing Neo Scavenger on Desura a week ago :)

Groupees Be Mine 5 is up! Nice looking bundle. If you want Oddworld and Tropico be prepared to pay 5 bucks (which is still a good deal). Not sure if my machine will run Oddworld though :whistle2:(

I'm having trouble biting on this. I already have King's Bounty, and I feel like I'd rather have Tropico 3 Gold (which has been less than $5) or eventually Tropico 4. Oddworld is a good game but I'm thinking Oddboxx (with all the other Oddworld games) will be less than $5 again in winter sale. Maybe I should get X-Blades for $1.50, but it seems like a snoozer....

I too am having a hard time biting on this. In the end, I probably will buy it. But it'll be Neo Scavenger that will likely push me over the edge to buy for a buck.

Like you, I already own King's Bounty Legend, and X-Blades is supposed to be really bad. Not quite Bad Rats/Horrid Henry/Revelations 2012 level of bad, but pretty bad.

Oddworld SW is pretty awesome, but I already own it thanks to my purchase of the oddbox a year ago for $5. If I got it for $5 a year ago, it's a safe bet that you'll be able to get it for that (or less) this winter. I sure wouldn't mind getting a DRM-Free copy of SW, but I don't want it badly enough to pay an extra $4.

As for Tropico 3, I like the series and I don't yet own T3, but I've heard that Tropico 3 & Tropico 4 are pretty much the same game. Supposedly if you own one, you don't really need to own the other. Or at least, that's what I've heard. In any event, I've decided to skip Tropico 3 and just get Tropico 4 when it hits a price point that I like.

So yeah, I'll probably buy the bundle for a buck so I can get Neo Scavenger, but I think I'm gonna wait a bit before I do. They've promised to reveal the 6th game as well as set the sales goal on the 8th of October. I get the feeling that they're waiting to see how well the bundle sells before they decide what to set the goal at. I don't want to buy now because I don't want to increase the bundles sold and have them set some unrealistic goal. It might actually be a game that I might want.

That's a great idea. I'll wait until the 8th to see what the bonus game is as well :)

Ok just updated the OP, and clicked on each link to see if it was working properly.

I included metacritic scores and links to them for all the games, along with their steam/desura pages

For the Graphic Novels, I included the amazon user rating systems/reviews and their oni press store page, which contains a quick summary of what the novel is about and sometimes page previews (which aren't working for me for some reason).

Thanks for the attention to detail. I went in at $5.

Thanks for keeping these up to date and it helps people that don't know about certain games. Picked it up for Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD and X-Blades. I have bought every single BeMine and Build A Bundle and I hope they keep it up.

Jonny is dropping hints over on the groupies chat what the bonus 6th game will be.

So far, here are the clues that he's dropped:
1 - Kan - (some have speculated that this could mean it's "To the Moon". Kan is the first name of the creator of that game.)
2 - Three word title
3 - It's a steam game
4 - Carl - (I have no idea on this one)

5 - It was released in 2012 - (he has since retracted this clue since he thinks he's got the year wrong.)

That's great if it's To The Moon, but the Carl clue doesn't make much sense.. To The Moon would be the best bonus they've had yet, for any of their bundles.

Carl could be a reference to noted astronomer Carl Sagan. Carl Sagan had nothing whatsoever to do with the game "To The Moon", but Jonny said that he was trying to think of a really obscure hint. Could be he thought of the name of a guy know for his passion for space while thinking about a game with a reference to space in the title and he thought, "that kinda works".

Looks like Goal #2 is up at 6500 units sold:

5 EPs in MP3 format...
Search & Destroy, Rockman
The Android Factory, Josh Money
Special Collection, Lucid Fly
Dim World, Diminished 7
World Invasion, Sammy Plotkin (includes FLAC format)

I would put in some Amazon links but I'm not sure how you turn the long URL into text?
New hint for the bonus game: Protest

This is too damn vague lol
I don't think "protest" relates in any way to TTM, unfortunately. :( Too bad they didn't mention "Inception" since the concept is similar.
I would put in some Amazon links but I'm not sure how you turn the long URL into text?
first hit 'post reply'(obviously) write your comment, highlight whatever text you want to turn into a link by holding the left mouse button, now leave it like that and then hit the 'Insert Link' button, its right below the smiley face up on top, paste the URL you want to link into the box that pops up and hit OK, easy

I hate to be "that guy" but I'm quite confused. What's the minimum I have to pay to get everything in the bundle? What do we do? We sign up at the Groupee site and pay, and then they give us the product keys or download links or what? Do we get it right away or after that timer counts down?

Here's what I think [but I'm possibly/probably wrong]:
$1 gets you X-blades, Neo Scavenger, and King's Bounty
$5 gets you everything above, plus Tropico 3, the graphic novels, and Stranger's Wrath HD.
The music stuff is free for any donation ($1 or $5) because 6500 people have donated.
Goal 3 will be announced tomorrow - likely a game...and we don't know the qualifications to get it yet?

You are correct. Pay $5 to get everything. Once you sign up you have a page where you go that lists all your groupees bundles and the games/keys/download keys.

Edit:
Also mini review for Neo Scavenger:
Honestly, the only reason this game even appealed to me was the post-apocalyptic theme. Sucker for anything post apocalyptic/zombie. This is pretty old school game. Turn based tile game play. You roam around trying to find stuff and encountering people/bandits/etc. There is no voice acting, just text. Didn't get too far into the game and usually hate this type of game, but enjoyed what I played so far and can see myself going back to it.

This isn't a bad bundle now that it has KFS

Anyone who wants my King's Bounty and Space Giraffe can get them for $1 both total. Just PM me.

I've gotta say, I'm impressed with the Groupees staff (specifically Johnny.) He basically let the chatters come up with the goal, and purposely made it something quickly attainable. The fact that he interacts with the customers and gives hints, etc. is pretty cool tool.

I've been a fan of Groupees since BM2 though. I missed BM1, but managed to get all of the games. Wish I didn't miss out on BaB2 though.

You know, I was one of the main people giving Groupees hell after BM1, but man have they gotten everything together and made me feel guilty for ever being critical of them. They are easily my #2 bundle site after IR.

A relatively new bonus game? I'm sold. They only need 750 more purchases with 11 days left.

I'm a big KFS fan. It's brutally difficult though and not really expertly designed. It's made by Chinese people with a lot of ideas and not a lot of sophistication. I liked it but it is ABSURDLY hard at times. Kinda like Ninja Gaiden difficulty and pacing-wise without such sophisticated combat

Yeah, I missed BM1, and don't even really remember why people were upset with them. I think their site was really buggy? I remember people being a tad cautious with BM2 but that seems to all be gone now.

HIB is obviously my #1 - mainly because of HIB 5 and 6. Royale was number two for me, but lately I have skipped alot of their bundles, so it's dropped down for me, personally, not quality wise. I think Groupees is my #2, lol.
Yawn.

They are the originators, but not the best that ever did it.
I know, and I 100% agree with you (both posts), but HIB just draws my love for some reason. =P

I think HIB is great, great site, system, games. My problem is:

#1 - I buy so many games and HiB seems to have the most repeats for me. Maybe if I grow more patient that will change.

#2 - Grouped keys? Really? So I still am paying for something I already own and get nothing in return?

#3 - Bundles don't happen often enough.

#4 - In between bundles are pretty weak IMO.

#5 - It is the Apple of indie bundles... snobby...lol

Absolutely agree on the grouped keys point. What a pain in the ass.

Thought I posted in here, but yeah, probably one of the best packs I've bought so far for $5. Great timing that Stranger's Wrath HD was in this (not really interested in the other Oddworld games). All the other games were just extra for me since I didn't have any of them.
I'd rather have a unified key that I can get for a buck than separate keys that are gonna cost me $5.
I guess I'm not really seeing your point.

HIB has prices to beat to get the full extent of the bundle as well. Nearly always more than 5$.

If Groupees keeps it up, they're going to be the #1 bundler in a lot more peoples' books. In a way I like HIB more because it's only a buck, but their BTA incentives never interest me ($4 for a $10 game that will hit 75% off within a year?), and like was mentioned above, way too many repeats.

Groupees is probably my favorite bundler though. Their chat support is the best around (when Jonny is online) and they're really down to earth. I also like their music choices better than any of the other bundlers (and also their pure music bundles). They've given out some weak games, but also some underrated gems, and they're getting better every time.

Keep it up Groupees! Looking forward to getting Kung-Fu Strike. :D

I'm really digging that kung fu strike trailer. The gameplay from the vid reminds of MK shaolin monks, and it looks we'll make the goal for it easily
Damnit, I won Kung-Fu Strike from a BGCQ steamgifts giveaway. Was looking forward to it being To The Moon lol.
Glad I passed on it when it was on sale....I'm never buying an indie game from Steam again.

Thank you for the clarification. I just got done giving them my money.

Thanks for the mini Review, too. Also a Fallout/Post apocalypse fan, so this sounds appealing to me.
