Aargh... Groupees is having a problem with keys not showing up in new purchases... I just wanted to grab Go! Go! Nippon! and designated it as my 1000th steam game.

sorry folks, doing some updates to the site, and unfortunately key assignment is slow... you will get your keys before too long ... underlying problem will be addressed so won't be an issue after today
Congrats! I'm almost up to 700 myself. Does that mean I'm closing in on non-fake CAG status? Oh wait, I bought Gun Monkeys, nevermind.

I still have to sift through my Humble collection, I'm sure I have at least a dozen unredeemed keys there. It's more been a marker, than anything else. I don't have anything particularly notable to throw at my 1000 marker, so at least Go! Go! Nippon! wasn't the usual bundle fodder.

I thought crossing the 1000 game threshold would cause a revelation / make me realize I have a problem. But nope, it's collecting at my usual higher-than-the-average-CAG-regular standards.

Knock gun monkeys all you want, but it comes with a free copy you can give to an alt steam account and sell 2 sets of cards from. I made over $1 back just from Gun Monkey Steam cards alone :) Even the foil I had drop of SPAAAAAAACE Monkeys sold for close to .50 nearly instantly. That's value to me, even if the game is not.

Soooooooo is there anyone still available to buy the Dollar bundle for Retro?  I'm not super interested in the games and buying just because im an impulsive bundle hoarder so the most ill pay is 1.50.  AAAAAnyone?

same here, and it just feels weird not to buy anything in a week.

Someone explain this game to me please. Are there really shy and awkward peeps out there who need this digital experience or is it a tongue in cheek thing. I might be willing to check out Japan for $1 but I really don't need the extra "attention" from my guides don'tchasee.

Actually the dual-language dialogs sold me. Good practice (and reason to expand my kanji). I kinda want it and it's a buck.

Looking to buy a dollar day retro groupee for the going rate of $1.50.   This is super last minute, and I gotta log off right now too.  But will definitely complete transaction if anybody helps me out with a little patience.

Thanks CAGs

Well, it's an interesting premise for a game but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to watch some moon-eyed anime schoolgirl staring at me from across a table in a restaurant without being some combination of amused and mortified. Also I doubt my wife would appreciate it very much. I'll just wait for it to turn up in a Gala (or maybe a Royale as they seem to be running a lot of Groupees repeats of late).

It was already in a Gala bundle: the first Monday bundle, to be specific.

I feel bad for that Pop Bundle on Groupees right now. Not really getting any support....in fact I probably only want to support it cause of that cute red haired girl in that one group....plus their music was ok....I always support a chiptunes one though!

Also about Go Go Nippon I gladly support anything and everything Mangagamer localize that's not nukige. They have a good amount of releases, release hard copies when games are supported enough, and generally have decent prices. Yeah i'm a blatant fanboy of the company but feel this was a nice cheaper release and for a dollar you can't really go wrong. Just my 2 cents of course.

Overcast - Walden and the Werewolf was also in an Indie Royale (the Halloween 2 bundle). Steam keys haven't been distributed through Desura yet, I checked.

Someone mentioned Always Remember Me earlier, it was also in the Indie Gala Capsule bundle and Steam keys are now available. They weren't yesterday for me at least.

I'm glad Indie Gala was slow, managed to get about $3 after selling cards (got my key from Groupees).

EDIT: Apparently the dev screwed over Groupees buyers. Indie Gala got deluxe steam keys for Always Remember Me, while Groupees got the standard edition.

Sweet. Being late to the party pays off yet again.

Also, don't forget that Always Remember Me has Playfire Rewards atm. :bouncy:

Well, now, I did forget :)

Way to lookout, Bobby.
No problem. The only reason I know is because I have a gaming schedule set-up around all the rewards for games I have this week. Gotta finish Castle of Illusion and do Typing of the Dead stuff tonight, and go straight into Portal 2 tomorrow (I have the day off so it kinda works out). And the day after that, Always Remember Me and log something like 20 minutes into that F2P Conquest of Champions game.

If I already have a GMG account, do I need a separate account on Playfire to get Playfire rewards?

I've essentially paid no attention to GMG in the past, and I know next to nothing about playfire.

Whatever you do, don't create a new Playfire account from scratch. Instead use your GMG login and password to sign into Playfire, trust me it works. This is how you correctly setup a Playfire account, otherwise you'll have a helluva time getting these Playfire rewards to sync with GMG. Then link your Steam account to your Playfire account and reap the benefits of free GMG credits.

I sure wish I would've known this 4 months ago, but it's water under the flaming bridge.

You don't need a separate account. Just log into Playfire with your GMG details, and get started. Don't play the game until you're set up on Playfire.

I really should look into this playfire thing.
Yes you should. I only started looking into it in February, didn't keep up with it and started getting serious about it at the beginning of April, and even though it's only been around Decemberish last-year, I'm kicking myself for all the potential rewards I've missed out on, especially with all the bundled games.

If it worked properly, it would be a Steam hoarder's dream come true. Getting money is a good way to force any CAG to delve into his/her Steam backlog. :p

Guess we'll need a Groupees group buy page now.
Well, since it's his thread, I think speedwerd should be in charge of it like Fox is in charge of Gala groupbuys.

But I mean, if he doesn't wanna do it, I could always use more rep. I got pretty good at taking bundle orders during Be Mine 12's Dollar Days.

So I posted on the Always Remember Me steam forum, asking why Indie Gala got deluxe Steam keys of Always Remember Me while Groupees got the regular edition. Here was my post:

Apparently Indie Gala received keys for the "deluxe" version, while Groupees got steam keys for the standard edition. Doesn't seem very fair considering it was in the $5 tier on Groupees. Groupees bundle purchasers got screwed over a bit.
http://steamcommunity.com/app/291030/discussions/0/558753803754724734/#c558754259404103406

and here is his response:

It was a mistake, but anyway the only difference is the soundtrack. THE GAME IS IDENTICAL.
When I did the Groupees bundle, the "deluxe version" didn't even exist. So what, if I make 9 DLCs/extra versions to a game and you bought it in a bundle 3 years ago, you're entitled to have all future updates free?

Besides, you see all identical prices on all stores? no. It can happen based on the deals and the specific situation at the moment. What about other indies releasing a game on Steam and then in a bundle A MONTH after it launches? That's bad, because you really feel cheated buying a game fullprice and then seeing in a bundle shortly after, something I'll never do.

In this case the difference of value is $0.99.

Sorry if for you is such a big deal, if you want email me and I'll give you the "bonus content" free.

BTW I'll do a few more bundles and then I'm done, sorry this too much stress and takes too much time for me.

Aww, little Spoder caused his first shitstorm. I'm so proud.

While the dev is right about the details (the price difference between the versions is only $1 and the "Deluxe" DLC is also available for $1, so it's not really a big deal), he didn't have to flip his shit over it.

I also love how he announced in advance about being in a few more bundles.. meaning that no one should buy his game full price.

You know I'm always down for a dev shitstorm.

I think the dev said something about swearing off bundles because he is so frustrated. But then his rent will come due and he'll probably bundle the shit out of all his games again.

Just a heads up, my best buddy from KISS (not the band) has let me know that Street Racing Syndicate is coming to Steam today.

A lot of us may have this from Indie Gala Dwarves where we got a Gamersgate key and I'd imagine they'd provide us with a Steam key.

Awesome. I've actually been super surprised by how well Gamersgate has handled the greenlight thing (mostly for their Indiefort bundles). I got Steam keys for Creeper World 3 and Paper Sorcerer from their last Indiefort.

Just realised I posted in the completely wrong thread. I've reposted it in Steam Deals.
