The multilink that combines the regular GameDeals with the chatter/announcement based GameDealsMeta into one feed always redirects through Sweden.

I don't know why. Ask them. They're like 99% European there so that's probably why.

This could actually be great for them. They can just have everything be a mystery purchase at $5 and you can get literally anything. Remute's Greatest Hits? Score!

Guessing they'd sell ~5000 of each listing. Just a hunch.

I'd buy Shadowgate 2014 if it was DRM-FREE download, Steam key, or GOG key - if it's $1 on a new launching Groupees Store. ;)
srsly, why did you not buy that bundle? Not only that, I was selling Shadowgate 2014 for $1 for about a day.. I think you intentionally pass every deal just so you can make posts like these.

Shadowgate 2014 was the only real game in that bundle that I wanted.

So, I passed.

I can't decide who's the bigger moran. Mooby or MysterD.
Why even decide on such a thing?

Also, it's not like Shadowgate 2014 was in the 1st tier at $1 there - and if it was, that would've been a no-brainer to me.

I already had Piers Solar on GOG, which was in $4 tier - so I no real interest in that 2nd tier.

It had a preorder for $2.50 (preorders include all tiers). Could've bought Shadowgate off of someone for $1, or bought the bundle, kept Shadowgate, and sold the rest for $1.50 easily.

I can understand if you were too lazy, but I know you post in the trade thread anyway so it would've taken very little effort to sell off the rest of the games.

Ill sell you my spare key for 1 dollar but it includes a 1.50 handling fee.

Granted, I missed the boat w/ the pre-order. I don't often do the pre-order thing - and that bundle, just for Shadowgate b/c of the rumor it'd be in there, I probably should've took the chance.

But really - do you really think anyone would've bought any of the other games from me?

I certainly don't.

I really think Shadowgate 2014 + Piers Solar were the only ones in there worth a damn - both which I probably would've kept for myself. Piers I would've kept just to put on Steam, even though I own it on GOG already.

Well think about it this way, Humble Bundle and IndieGameStand and itch.io all have their own keys as well. I will not pass judgment until it comes out and I can properly compare it, but so far for storefronts that sell games with Steam/GOG/DRM-free, Humble and IndieGameStand are miles ahead of the rest (sorry IndieGala and Bundlestars)

Why does that matter? Shadowgate for $2.50, especially at the time when the pre-order went live, was a fantastic deal. Everything else in that bundle could be just a bonus. You should get over the idea that you're "wasting" games; if a bundle has a game or games you're looking for at a decent price, then buy it. Would it really be so terrible to give away your extra or unwanted keys to others?

Shadowgate is currently $2.99 on Steam, if you're looking for a non-bundle deal.

Exactly The Sifu. I may not be on the same terms as most of the CAGers on terms of the quality of each bundle, but I can agree that if there is a game that you REALLY want, and the price for it alone would be MUCH more (of course games along with it would somewhat matter), go for it. You don't like the games with it, you will find someone who will want it. The worst thing you could do is let SteamGifts decide the lucky winner of the unwanted game.

Of 2.98 from me 1 dollar for the game and 1.98 handling fee. I had to raise the price due to demand

B/c everything matters - that's why. It's not like Shadowgate was in the $1 tier here.

Sure, the extras could've all been +1's for me in the $4 tier - but, I wasn't really thrilled w/ mostly what was in that bundle, except Shadowgate 2014. Even then - already missed the boat on the pre-order...so it already was a wash once it hopped up to $4, IMHO.

Shadowgate for $2.50, especially at the time when the pre-order went live, was a fantastic deal.
As I said earlier...and I'm paraphrasing here: "I should've took a risk on the bundle for $2.50, knowing Shadowgate 2014 possibly was going to be in that bundle."

Everything else in that bundle could be just a bonus. You should get over the idea that you're "wasting" games; if a bundle has a game or games you're looking for at a decent price, then buy it.
Why would I buy the bundle for $4, knowing it was on pre-order for $2.50?

And even more, especially when there was only one game that I was really wanting in that bundle?

It's not like that bundle was a home-run to me - especially once it got raised to $4.

Shadowgate is currently $2.99 on Steam, if you're looking for a non-bundle deal.
I'll pass for now - even at 80% off.

Anybody know what the games are going to be?
No idea, but it's a Sanrio-looking cat in a chef hat on a beach cooking some coconut soup. Can't argue with that.

Groupees chat:

1. Louie Cooks http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=440475437 hints: 2. Japanese letters; 3. ball bouncer; 4. tiles; 5. 2.5D; 6. ger____ (probably Gerty http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=438701064, added to favourited by Informatics); 7. Flying thing go pew pew, also 2.5D; (bonus) Osmos (http://store.steampowered.com/app/29180/), but not really (osmos is not in the bundle, it's just part of a hint)

Don't worry about it. I zoned out for a minute and the next thing I know, I'm looking at my receipt for the Groupees BAGB 27. Now I wonder how that happened...

Oh god damn it, they had to put some cutesy ass Animal Crossing Hello Kitty bastard love child looking shit in there to make me break my streak of no buy from Poopees.

I'll have to get a second copy as a gift too because UtopianMachine will Gilby it and then want it later once it has a Steam key.

Drat you Poopees for finally having something I sort of want!

*Edit: Aaaand they got 254 Euro in pledges in their recent failed Kickstarter campaign out of 12,000 that they asked for so yeah, that'll get finished but eh, it's $1.25 plus some other trash that I'll hate but might have cards.

So the BAGB27 is:

Unlock 1 - Evolution

Half of these are bottom-of-the-barrel Greenlight garbage, the kind of games that come up from the depths and try to drown you in a Death Star garbage disposal situation.
Well there are two pretty decent looking games in it in its defense, but yeah the bundle is definitely weaker than some of the previous Greenlight bundles.
