That or just buy in for $1, and increase payment by $4 next week.

The way they set up the tiers is.. weird. They easily could've gotten away with putting Paranautical Activity and Fairy Bloom Freesia in the $5 tier, instead of Blood Bowl and Constant C.. people would've still paid $5.

They also have a new rap music bundle with two albums (one from Hopsin and one from Dizzy Wright) for $1.

The Hopsin album is really good IMO and def. worth $1.

Saw that and got the SpeakUp one because you can't get the Zion I - ShadowBoxing (Deluxe Edition) anywhere cheaper legally. Also picked up the Be Mine 8 this now makes three bundles without me owning any games in it.

Oh! Speak Up one is live? Couldn't find it on the page. Thanks for the info.

Grabbed the $1 bundle since I don't have any of the games in it. Already own Drakensang so I'll wait and see what the other games are before moving up to $5.

Weird, not showing on the front page: http://groupees.com/speakup

Got both music bundles - I think I've bought every single music bundle from Groupees except the current game soundtrack one.

^_^ Someone else in the same situation. I'm kinda excited about Fairly Bloom... but the $5 tier is meh since I already own Drakensang complete.
Oh Detruire I always think you're nice.
At least that typo would actually hold true. ;)

It matters to me (in this case) purely because it's annoying.
That's probably the thing I like most about groupees... no pressure, take your time, think about it, come back in a week and pay the same price.
I definitely appreciate it. The rapid increases in price often kill the IR bundles and HIB BTA tiers for me, so it's nice to know that I can take my time to decide whether it's worth buying or not.

I agree with the first part of your statement, but not the second part.

Blood Bowl is the only reason I went to tier 2 and I'm not convinced that I would like Fairy Bloom Freesia. If I could have snagged Blood Bowl and Patrician for $1, I'd have been all over that. I imagine that Groupees was hedging their bets and thinking that not everybody would have both Blood Bowl and Drakensang on Steam.

Yeah, Blood Bowl isn't really my kind of game so I doubt it would even get touched. Constant C looks interesting but not enough to make me give up $4 extra. :D
interesting this bundle will have 7 bonuses, do I have to buy it early like HIB to get the bonus stuff or can I get it at anytime and still get them
You get all the bonuses whenever you buy. Even at the $1 level. :)

Any time.

Exactly on the same page!
Got the Speak Up bundle too. http://groupees.com/speakup I flipped through some tracks that sounded good so why not? Listen to Reef's "Houdini" with the Heart sample. Great!
All those are pretty quality acts so it is a great bundle. The bonuses look promising too.
Any time.
thanks guys, don't particular care for the 3 of the games at the $1 tier but Paranautical Activity looks ok but not that's enough to make it buy it, I guess I'll wait until they reveal the other bonuses before I buy it
first bonus unlocked! Next bonus is patrician iv - rise of a dynasty (steam)
DLC! :D

Much better than a game that I already own (or a soundtrack that I don't like.)
First bonus unlocked! Next bonus is PATRICIAN IV - RISE OF A DYNASTY (Steam)
Wasn't expecting that. My opinion of this bundle just increased. My one qualm about the inclusion of Patrician IV was that I'd have to pay another $5 to complete the package by buying the DLC. So I'm delighted to see it as a bonus.

Yeah.. I thought they were going to pull a Tropico on us. It's nice to see that wasn't the case.

Constant C looks fun and I don't have any of the Drakensang games but Blood Bowl has Securom and doesn't look all that exciting to me. It's been a while since anyone put out a bundle where I don't own any of the games though. Except maybe the last IR.

I was hoping there was a Drakensang collection on Steam but it looks like the games/dlc are only sold separately.

The securom was apparently removed from Blood Bowl. Or if it does still have it, the activation limit was removed.

You can pickup drakensang complete on ebay for $10. The retail edition is drm-free (verified, I own it, from ebay, $10)

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I saw that you mentioned owning the collection which is why I figured it was sold that way on Steam. I should have asked you where you got yours. :)

Does the Steam version even have any DRM?

It apparently does not any more. Just Steam DRM.

Or that's what Shifty said in the chat an hour or two ago.

That pretty much sells the bundle for me. I enjoyed Patrician 3 but didn't hear great things about Patrician 4. Still, for $1, I'd be happy to give it a shot, but not having the full game was making me iffy about it. Throw in the the DLC and Groupees just got a customer!

I'm not sure if I want to move up to the $5 level, though. What's everyone's opinion on Drakensang?

Drakensang got pretty good reviews from most people on here a few months back so I went ahead and bought in because of that.
Hey Humble Bundle, this is how you do bonuses ;)
You mean you're not supposed to re-use old bundles and games as your bonuses? Preposterous.

Drakensang's a pretty good party-based RPG, but the original game gets ludicrously difficult toward the end. I haven't played through the prequel or prequel expansion yet.

Yeah, $52 is way too much. They probably just got them out of a vending machine for much cheaper.

From what I've heard, the prequel is better.. doubt the prequel will be included in this bundle though, as it has licensing issues in multiple regions on Steam, and its published by Valusoft on Steam in the US.

Groupees is doing great, I own almost all their bundles. Humble Bundle are still the kings (mainly because the sales quantity), but Groupees are very close.

I think one of the misterious titles will be Ether Vapor Remaster (because they gave the OST). That game is on my wishlist, so I'll be happy if that's the case. Also, I only own Blood Bowl (never played it, got it through a trade) from the bundle, and Drakensang looks great! Bought!

Ether Vapor's OST is included because you can't buy Fairy Bloom Freesia's OST without it. It's listed the same way on the official Freesia site too.
