New bonus goal is Crazy Fairies..

"Game itself is Free to Play on PC, Mac, IOS, Android. But this gives you ingame content worth $10."
Wow they are scraping the bottom of the barrel now
Yeah.. this feels similar to an Alienware Arena or Raptr giveaway. Not sure why they add stuff like this as a bonus goal, it's worse than a music bonus.
Their music bonuses are better than many of their game bonuses.

I'd rather have a game id never play, that I can activate on desura or steam then music ill never listen to
They don't only include music that I don't like and Steam/Desura games as bonuses.
They will never have music i will listen to, which is why I don't care about their music/ game sound tracks. I'm a grumpy old man set in my ways. I'd rather have a steam key for bad rats in replacement for every music bonus they add.

You like chamber music, brah? Or perhaps a little taste of Tom Jones?

They've had such a range of music that I could probably find something that'd fit into any of the main genres that I'm aware of.

Gregorian chants and Enya, maybe some Ace of Base, maybe a little Liberace

Huh.

So you probably saw the signs OF LiberACE's gayness long before even his gay fanBASE suspected anything.

That's eye opening.
What are you talking about Liberace is straight as an arrow if he didn't die from AIDS he'd be suing you for slander.

Not too special, but I'd rather have that than a music bonus. From what I know about it, it's a Worms-like game from American McGee's Spicy Horse studio, so might be alright. At least I can get a new character or something rather than a few songs I'll never listen to.

Hmm, I wonder if they will even unlock all the bonuses. Then again, it hasn't been active that long, just seems like a lot of people are unimpressed.

Waiting a bit to see what the bonuses are, but I'll bite before it ends. Don't have any of the games, and Chernobyl is the only one that is a definite no for me.

I'm holding off to see what comes from the remaining bonuses if they manage to get unlocked. Spectraball and Numen look like they might have some decent fun to them. Unsure on the rest.

Multiple people told me Numen was one of the worst games they've ever played.

I've heard it's serviceable, but at this point there are SO many other games of that Diablo type gameplay that are great rather than just alright that I don't really see the point, as those games are long and often quite similar.

Just played the tutorial for Space Ark and I have to say it's not the most intuitive puzzler.  It has some new mechanics and it does make it more challenging, but I find myself messing up often just because of the controls.  It says something about a controller, so maybe that would feel better than KB/M.

As is, you use WASD to move your animal and left and right to move your launch pad and you have to bounce around to capture the color cells.  Not the most complicated thing but I just found myself moving the pad when I meant to move the tiger and vice versa.  Will likely plug in the controller next time I give it a go.

Nobody would dare call Numen "serviceable" unless it was in the capacity in which a sadist would derive pleasure from its awfulness. It's totally mediocre and sub-par, with annoying sounds and voices; there's only one unintentionally awesome, worthwhile part of the game, where a priest asks your young shirtless male character to close your eyes and "search your feelings." Then you get right back to the boring game. It's probably the fourth most interesting Steam game in this bundle, and you'll never play it.

Oh, so you'd call it workmanlike then? ;)

Let's just assume Helen Keller is still alive and you sat her down in front of a computer to play Numen. The first words her fingers would form would be "coma-inducing," and I'm not entirely positive that there's even a hand motion for that. So either she'd take the 30 seconds to gesture out each letter to emphasize her general abhorrence towards a six-year-old game that's been done better dozens of times, or she'd have to invent the hand gesture solely to describe it, which would consist of a person dropping a torch into a pool of water followed by the swift jerk of her neck being snapped by a noose. Naturally, the latter stands for "please kill me," and the lack of menu options is implied.

Has anyone tried the Crazy Fairies code yet? I'm curious what exactly it gives you, if it's just $10 worth of the ingame currency and (possibly) stackable, or if it is some sort of item pack. I've played the game off and on with my girlfriend and it would be nice to know if it is worth picking up, they have some wings in the item shop she would like to have.

Oh, I gotcha.

So what you're saying is it's basically competent and accessible (to the handicapped)?

Ugh. Regretting this one already, Space Ark won't play in 3D or fullscreen for that matter, and apparently I already owned Dynamite Jack, if anyone wants it PM me, it's yours for free of course.

I put a couple hours into Freedom Fall and it's a blast.  Very polished gameplay and nice, bright graphics.  Of those I've played it's the best in the bundle (althogh I'm fond of Dynamite Jack as well).

ugh, don't make me start wanting this bundle :nottalking: Groupees is really dropping the ball with these bonuses, very disappointing.

Thought it was just me, but yeah, what's up with no fullscreen on the Space Zebras?

Bonus' are supposed to increase your desire to buy a bundle. Most of these bonus' are having the opposite effect for me.

Thanks to the generosity of Cheaplikeafox 3.0, I now know that the Crazy Fairies codes can be redeemed multiple times on an existing account, and seems to always give the same package. The package has three items in it, one Midas mask (permanent, unlike the one in the store), one Aurora's Antidote card and one Regen Potion. Certainly nothing that would be enticing to a new player and unfortunately only of marginal value to a current player.

It does seem likely that the fifth and final bonus for the bundle will be a game, hopefully a worthy one as the bundle is certainly quite underwhelming right now, especially compared to other recent Groupees bundles.

Yeah, I'm sure there will be at least one game bonus. My guesses for the bonuses are Woodie Tree Adventures, Chompy Chomp Chomp, and Survivor Squad, since those 3 were recent additions to their greenlight collection page.

If my guesses turn out to be correct, I'd be disappointed. Woodie Tree Adventures isn't that great (I won it from a giveaway and played it) and Survivor Squad is in the new Indie Gala..

To people who can neither see nor hear it? Yes, definitely.
