My initial hunch was right: if it were a good game they'd display it early to get sales.  You keep a mediocre game hidden because the anticipation of a mystery game sells more copies than the game itself.  Grateful to Neuro for giving me his Legends of Dawn key because there isn't a single other game in this bundle -- even in the $1 tier -- that I'd want.  Okay... maaaaaybe Last Knight but that looks like a fairly simple iOS game that I can live without.

They waited this much to show pid? They are following the IR path xD
I don't think Pid was the mystery game. I think Jazz was, and Pid was thrown in as an extra game.

I could be wrong though, maybe Pid was intended as the mystery game, and Jazz was the extra.

Either way, they should stop repeating games from other bundles as mystery games.. Jazz and Pid were bundled before.

Given what Marmalade actually is, it looks like this won't have any particularly good PC games in it.
From their site, it looks like they were responsible for Lara Croft: Guardian of Light, and Call of Duty Black Ops: Zombies. http://www.marmaladegamestudio.com/
Looks like I was spot on... it's a bunch of generic-looking Android games, which wouldn't be so bad if it was a $1 bundle. But, for some insane reason, they're running it in BAB format.

Disappointing. I should have listened to you. Got my hopes up for something better for nothing. :/

Whenever I see any sort of framework or engine touted as being easy to use, I always think of really generic games.
As do I. Sadly, the CAG side of me tends to override rational thought when a bundle is coming. It's the same part of the brain that used to get excited when a garage sale advertised having games. They never had anything good, but damned if it didn't stop me from hoping. :)

Ha! I once scored a bunch of original Infocom adventure games (on 5.25" floppies no less and with feelies - you young 'uns look 'em up), the original Leisure Suit Larry games in mint condition boxes, and a few others in a couple of garage sales. For a while after that, I scoured garage sales most Saturdays looking for similar gems - never did find anything else but that didn't stop me from wasting my time looking that summer.

Nice find. Anything mint at a garage sale is a rarity. Are garage sales even still around? Or has the younger generation forgotten about them. My god, soon there will be an entire generation that has never known garage sales; only Craigslist. I feel old.

Are you kidding dude? Garage sales are still huge. I go to around 30 a week, every Saturday from May to October. There's even a whole CAG thread dedicated to to 'em.
Excellent news. I moved out of the country a while ago, but as I recall, they were becoming more and more scarce. Or at least, harder to find anything good in. At the time, it seemed like ebay and Craigslist were taking precedence. Glad to know they're still going strong.

Ah fuck, I forgot to buy the damn Be Mine X bundle. I put it off on the first day of the bundle to see what the bonuses would be, and then I got caught up in the frickin GOG sale and forgot all about the bundle. That's what I get for not buying as it launched. :(

You know, I really have no one to blame for this but myself. But it doesn't feel all that good to admit that. So I think I'm gonna blame TebowDragon instead.

This is the easy part unfortunately. The real pain comes when games get greenlit and cards added and you see all your friends idling and activating while you have nothing.

Now that I have Audiosurf, I have an excuse for all the music I own on Groupees.  At least, the only excuse I've had since I can't redownload the copy of Beat Hazard I got on Groupees all that time ago.

You should listen to some, I've heard some of it and a few are pretty cool, I've liked Gabriel Martins, Damu the Fudgemunk and some of the post rock stuff they added, but this is all about tastes, so differ a lot between people.

After playing Luxor Evolved no other Luxor game can even compete. Dem other ball games be less enjoyable now. There I said it.

That's what I was thinking too. I also have fifty bazillion match 3 games and I believe I already have the Samantha Swift game.

Edited to add - I need to know that my backlog is full of the most enjoyable games possible thus I will not be getting any other Luxor games since Evolved is now officially deemed The Most Enjoyable. I'm glad someone had the Luxor-balls to say it.

If you grew up playing real pinball, then you like virtual pinball.

If you didn't play pinball growing up (not that many of us have actually "grown up") then you can't understand what the big deal is about.

Come to think of it, the above applies to a lot of stuff besides pinball.

I will likely buy more of these than I care to admit...

Who's talking about Pinball, or is this just a loaded inudo?

I thought Faux said something about playing with his little balls on a table a page or so back, but I could be hallucinating - I've been sniffing glue all afternoon (all I can afford after buying all these bundles).
Sniffing glue is to Luxor-ious for me, I just huff paint that I've been slowing chipping off the wall.

This'll be one of those 'Maybe in for 75 cents if the bonuses turn out to be good' deal.  Although I looked at the Mumbo Jumbo catalog and nothing stood out.  Popcap makes better time-waster games.

When I grew up I was aware of pinball machines and I probably wasted a quarter or two here or there, but most of my money went to the vidya games.  The arcade closes to me didn't have your traditional games.  It was all hidden object games.  Quarter bought you a minute of finding stuff.  I remember wasting handful of corners trying to find shears and I kept clicking on the scissors...lol... good times.

Damn, looks like I'll be passing on this bundle since I picked up most of these during various steam sales since my wife loves hidden object games and I believe Samantha swift was in a bundle so hopefully the bonuses will sway me. Growing up we had a pinball room with 5 tables and a couple upright arcade machines (frogger and that slut ms. pacman). I love me some pinball so definitely gonna buy in at the $6 price for humble weekly. I'm glad I had restraint and didn't buy all the tables when they were on sale lol. I've liked a lot of these posts but unfortunately you're only allowed to like 20 or so a day apparently.
