You can't even really "downvote" games on greenlight. I'm pretty sure his game would've been greenlit by now.. devs just need to suck it up, at least until their game gets greenlit.

I expect maybe 1 decent bonus, with the rest being crap.. like all the other Clash bundles. I'll be in for a dollar though, I'm glad I passed on Retro/Grade every time it was cheap.

Banzai Pecan doesn't even look horrible compared to some greenlight dredge I've seen and some of those got voted up by me anyway! I would have voted it easily, and I do believe it would have been in by now.

That's basically it. Well not so much downvoted but shit talked which in a developers mind more or less amounted to the same thing. Keep in mind this was back when like 5 or 10 games at a time got in on Greenlight and the stuff getting in actually wasn't 50% or more weeaboo.

It's actually a fun little game, I fakeCAGed and bought it outside of a bundle. Considering what Poopies has been excreting lately you could do a lot worse.

On the Greenlight thing, I think some devs just didn't get the memo that the floodgates were opened. I know the Cinders dev was resistant for a long time after apparently getting turned down by Valve once upon a time (before Greenlight) and initially had been noticing that visual novels weren't getting in in the early days of Greenlight. Something made him finally change his mind though and it got right in.

You never know. If a bunch of people get Banzai Pecan and like it and ego stroke the dev and point out how much weeaboo and utter shit has been getting in lately (but maybe not note that in the same sentence) he might change his mind.

I tried to do that early on but there just got to be so many of them and such a very high proportion of utter shit the likes of which makes the recent Groupees bundles look like masterpieces that I just couldn't do it anymore and keep my sanity.

I feel like hardly anyone rates by browsing Greenlight anymore. It's up to the developers to drive people there either directly or indirectly by putting their games in a bundle and giving hoarders a vested interest in getting another +1.

Some devs don't seem to get that. They kind of have this if you build it they were come mentality. I'm noticing that with Kickstarter a lot too.

 
I blame Squirrel and Nitro for all the shit that gets greenlit.

Psshhaw, not that expensive. It should cost 17 cents or 16 cents with a 10% off code and give a pre-release game plus two others like the recent Russian UPlay 'deal'. nevermind that no one actually got any of those games yet.

 
It looks like Eschalon Book 2 is the first bonus, making that 4 Steam and 1 Desura games I do not own. Retro/Grade was already on my wishlist so this was an easy buy. 

 
Was on the fence about it, but that poor 4-year-old girl with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Disease and Multicystic Dysplastic Kidney Disease whom this bundle benefits pushed me over the edge.

Too bad she can't spoder a new body.

 
I actually like the music in groupee bundles as well, they have a lot of good techno/electronic music. I know I've bought at least 2 chiptune bundles from them.

Funny thing is, Data Hacker Corruption (The second one) is on the Daily Indie Game deal at 2 for (slightly over) a dollar. However I didn't get the first one in the Ajay bundle even at the $1. Tier. I kind of wanted Data Hacker but I don't know, that bundle and Ajay were so full of Poopees that I just couldn't bring myself to buy it.

Did you end up getting Corruption from DIG? I've never bought from them before and was considering making a purchase. Or do the Hacker games just suck that much that ~.50 a key really isn't even worth it. I might have paid more for less in the past.

Yeah, some of my favorite albums I've listened to recently I've gotten from Groupees, to where I'm actually looking forward to when they have/add music to their bundles. At least I'm listening to a lot of it, instead of shoving it in the backlog with miscellaneous game X/Y/Z.

Oh, and if anyone's going through their past bundle purchases looking for stuff to listen to, I recommend checking out: bubu, Carroll, The Clockwork Dolls, Diamonds Under Fire, Ed Zealous, Edit/Select, Fairy Bloom Freesia OST, Electronic Super Joy OST, Hollow & Akimbo, Mirage, Shirobon, all the eXceed OSTs, Zoom Lens sampler.

I can't remember which are from which bundle, but chances are you have a lot of them.

I'd buy it from DIG, but I don't know if they guarantee Steam keys when greenlit. Spoder's investigating.

 
Its a Data Hacker game! It'll be in a bundle later when it's on Steam. At that point I'll no doubt get it and never ever play it, unless it has cards or PF rewards.
