I don't know if you can use the term "Gilby" there. The bundle is still running. :shame:
No, he's correct. I clarified the issue last week when I pointed out that preorders give me another chance to miss out on a desired bundle.
That is the correct usage because Palinn intended to grab a preorder and failed to do so within the allotted time; thus, Palinn gilbyed the preorder.

Shifty just said the Doujin bundle preorder will be between $2/$2.50.

I hope it's $2 and not $2.50. I'm about out of Paypal wallet and don't want to spend outside of Paypal balance.
So a $5 tier is likely? I mean, these last few preorder bundles have had a difference of a few bucks from the full bundle, so I would expect it to happen here as well.

I get the feeling that it's actually going to be another build a bundle. I don't think Groupees has done tiers since BM14, and I'm pretty sure every pre-order bundle has been BAB.

I heard someone say the Bundle of the Damned will be $3 minimum, not sure how accurate that info is though

So far they have, but the upcoming BOTD apparently has a $3 minimum, which could certainly be a BAB, but it's a strange pricing structure if so.

EDIT: spoder'd!

FWIW, the $3 min is listed on the bundle page.

$2-2.50 is more than I expected the Doujin bundle to be. I probably will preorder this one, but at that price I hope there's more than one decent game in it.

Well, thanks for jinxing it, you massive jerk.

At least we all know who to ostracize when it turns out to be horrible.

Blazblue is pretty much confirmed, and World End Economica should be in it. That's enough to get me to preorder.
The reputation of Groupee's Doujin bundles is good enough for them to ask for a relatively high price for preorders, and it seems that they know it.

hope i did not miss out on anything major on the battle bundle. will know in less then min

wow glad i did not preorder it

Zero repeats for me in the Horror Bundle.  Not only does it feature a good number of games, it is strong in the non-game stuff too.

Ooh.  And Survivalist is a really nice bonus.

I have Bad Mojo (tremor), and Survivalist (IR Debut 18), but I think I'm missing everything else.

That would be totally worth it, but this is the first time I've seen anyone mention World End Economica being in the bundle, how did you find that out?
A few weeks ago Shifty told me that the Clash of the World Asia bundle would be merged into the Doujin 3 bundle, and would include World End Economica. May have changed by now, but I doubt it.

Agree (although I have BM Redux on CD-ROM, I think--and many folks have it from a BS). But the music and comics look pretty good and a few of the games look decent. This would possibly be a good bundle at $3 even, but I'd pay $1.50 just for the Last Door soundtrack.

Yeah, I just went to look at this. Sometimes I think you guys will just snap up any VN that comes around; that looks duller than actually working as a stockbroker.

Kinda wish I'd preordered, as this has the mix of games, music, and comics I like from Groupees. But $3 is WAAYYY too much, so I'll save it for the Doujin 3 preorder I guess.

Iris looks like it could be kinda interesting, but... that $3 for nothing else of interest. Ugh.

Even the pre-order price wouldn't have been appealing.

I think many of us are sold based on the first sentence in the description.

"From the author of Spice and Wolf, Isuna Hasekura, comes WORLD END ECONOMiCA."

I was kind of interested in this from the trailer, but then I read that line. I haven't ever looked into Spice and Wolf myself, but my more weeaboo friends who have tell me the anime, at least, is like a really boring lecture on economics.

Now I think I'm just going to wait and see. I already have Calamity Trigger on PSP, which isn't a very good version, but I don't really play online, anyway, so it's enough that the Steam version isn't especially tempting.

Read the light novels for Spice and Wolf...supposedly great reads, at least one of my friends regulary reads them. They're also licensed, so it's nice to get those as well. I'm still working through the Haruhi books myself.

Also a bit disappointed that Bad Mojo: Redux is in the bundle. I bought it recently on the Halloween GMG sale. You can thank me later! Will give away my copy soon enough. Watch this thread for it.

The Steam version doesn't have online matches either. It's the old GFWL store-exclusive game with GFWL stripped out.

"This is the first episode out of three part sci-fi/economic thriller visual novel set on the moon."

Do you like lasers? How about mutual funds? Moon bases? Deferred tax derivatives? Well, have we got the game for you...

As we've discussed on this thread over the past few days, there are at least three worse Be Mine bundles.
But they happened a while ago and we have the memory of brain damaged goldfish around here when it comes to qualities of bundles and sales from sites.

A lackluster September means groupees has gone downhill for good and they also stole some of our shit on the way out.
