Also, the "mystery" game in the BiaB 3 was revealed to be. . . Sid Meier's Covert Action. You know, that EGA game you didn't play when it came out 30 years ago but is now back to haunt you because Night Dive is re-releasing a ton of ancient crap for no apparent reason (the demand was so overwhelming that they had no choice but to release them).
I, for one, am quite happy getting Covert Action, from whichever bundle. Now I won't be tempted to buy it on GOG.

I'm sure I'm way behind the times, but I read the description for Witches, Heroes and Magic just five minutes ago.

I'm still laughing. Not entirely sure when it's going to subside.

MacVenture collection has been added to the $3 tier for Retro 4. Nice addition.

Sucks for anyone that bought the Shadowgate remake though.

Actually with shadowgate you only got déjà vu 1 and shadowgate not the full collection

So i don't think it sucks +2

Who would go and do a thing like that?
Having already played it a decent amount, I don't regret buying it. Especially since I got in on the Deja Vu and Shadowgate MacVenture cards before they tanked and got almost $2 back

EDIT: Just got a foil for Deja Vu II that had a $3.50 buy order sitting, which is $3.05 in funbucks added to my wallet. Thanks for the free bundle, Groupees!

Didn't know they all had cards, that's cool

Each game has 3 drops, so 12 drops total. I figure they'll be worth at least a dollar total.

Whew, and I was beginning to worry that the retro bundle wouldn't include 30 year old pieces of garbage, now we can all rest easy knowing the nostalgia-nerds are satisfied.

Stop trying to make it seems like it didnt suck for us

Maceventure is a great addition....makes the pre-order just that much better. Now if Organ Driver ends up unlocking that will just leave my mind blown and I wont even be able to move for a few days....

And now I feel doubly stupid for missing out on the pre-order price because someone decided to pick an argument with me.  :wall:

Oh well, at least the bundle's actually worth $3 now.

What's worse is the guy that picked an argument with you deleted their post, or a mod deleted it, so you don't know who it was.. you were arguing with yourself!

How could it be worth $3 when you could have gotten it for $1.50? No way I'd overpay by paying double.

The addition of the entire MacVenture series (which I don't imagine was part of the original value/plan) raises it to close enough to $3 for me. The package with all 4 is $2.25 at 75% off, so unless they're rebundled, it's worth it. At least in my opinion.

Some spanish guy who use to frequent the groupees chat says he thinks that Jonny indirectly said that Devil's Dare could be an add to the Retro 4 bundle.

Can't find what Jonny said on chat, but I guess it's worth to mention.

So you could say they're RETRO-actively adding more games to this bundle?

...and I've only had two cups of coffee.

Retro bundle was average to start...then this other game and it's good and if Devil's Dare gets added I feel it will be a pretty good bundle.

I preordered. Seems like the first one was decent, and I don't want to miss out on the higher tier if it's actually got some quality games in it.

Be Mine Anniversary was probably the best bundle Groupees ever ran.  There was also a lot of what would later be called Gilbying on it because it ended days early.

No, you're all wrong.

Only reason they don't have hints or anything is because they want you think it's bad and not preorder at all,

then regret it and preorder next time.

Or maybe they want think you'd regret not preordering and preorder this time.

Or maybe...

Just ignore Groupees and you'll be OK.

This man tells the truth....I think i'm going to not pre-order unless we get a hint or two for games. The last Be Mine kind of sucked and it was full of hints all over the place.

Yeah, BMA is where I started out with Groupees and it was full of awesome shit. I'll give it a go at 2 bucks. Hopefully they aren't just using the name as a cash-grab.
I started with BM11. I really wish I'd have been around for BM Special Edition though.

You think this one will be about $4 dollars when it goes live for everything?
I think it'll be $3. I'd be surprised if it was $4 because BM17 was $4 and had a $2.50 pre-order.

The pre-orders have been far more miss than hit.  I feel I'm better off paying the post-launch price on the odd bundle worth buying than wasting money buying all the pre-order crap.
