Surprisingly Jast USA localized games are generally pretty light on dark content. Course there are exceptions like Starless, Gibo, Sensei 2, Three Sisters Story (showing my age haha) and even School Days....man some of those paths lol....

 
BTW I saw the Jast bundle...will give what I remember but know these games are generally very old. I do remembering one of the Snow games being very good though....i'll give impressions since I've played them all except yin yang, which I disliked the X-Change games so no way I was playing that and completed the bunnies, snow games and likely 1 other.

Okay, well, the $10 tier is alright.  I played both Snow games ages ago, not that I can remember which is which, but they were fine.  So is Do You Like Horny Bunnies, a question that need not be asked. 

The $20 dollar tier is not so great.  Princess Waltz is excellent, but that's about it.  Haven't played Ying-Yang, but if it's like the 2 of the X-Change games I did play it's only really worth it if you want to scratch your very specific itch.  Pretty Soldiers Wars I also haven't played, but it was a pretty terrible reputation for having not much plot and pretty awful turn-based strategy combat that devolves into a boring clickfest almost immediately. 

Gonna pass, played the good ones already, don't even want the rest. 

 
Eh.. I feel like they should've added Princess Waltz to the $10 tier and scrapped the rest of the $20 tier entirely. I wouldn't be surprised if this was Groupees way of getting rid of all of the Jonny coins.

Steins;Gate would be nice if there was a promise to deliver steam keys, but Motoki's probably right.. the steam version will be handled by a different publisher and this ain't no charity, bitch!

But notice they make no mention of that either. It's gonna be a shit show if people who paid $30 and weren't warned in advance they wouldn't be getting a Steam key don't get one.

Yeah, it'll be a shit show, but somehow I feel like Steins;Gate may be the one game on steam to get away with it since it's so popular and it'd be the best VN on steam by a huge margin.

We'll see, but I ain't buyin dat $30 tier

The thing is that the $30 tier would be only one more groupee coin worth a bit less that $5. Not sure it isn't better to just spend the coin and get the top tier.

That's if you have 2 Jonny coins, I have one. It's not a bad idea to get the $30 tier if you've got 2 Jonny coins, you'll probably be rebuying it on steam though if you have any interest in it.

Yeah, though that tends to be an argument for maybe skipping the bundle entirely, or at least only grabbing the bottom tier.

Why would one re-buy on Steam? Just for the +1 or is it expected that the Steam version would have something extra (I would think Steam would have less titties.)

 
Because having a DRM free game is like paying to pirate a damned game. Eww cooties and stuff. I want it attached to my Steam account. Who the hell knows if JAST will go Tits up or lose their hard drive or whatever the hell. And I don't want to have 80 different sites to have all my games on. fuck that shit. Plus achievements and +1 etc etc.

My opinions:

Do You Like Horny Bunnies? - Why yes I do! I remember this being a fun but shortish game. Pretty old but nice.

Snow Sakura - I had to look up both cause I disliked one of these snow games. This one I quite liked and enjoyed it a lot back then. Worth a play.

Snow Drop - Yuck! This game was boring and short. I remember blowing through it in an evening and saying OK now what. So-so game.

Princess Waltz - This one is pretty long and decent with good graphics and story. It also has a weird card battling system. Good game and quite long if I remember correctly.

Pretty Soldiers - Bleh I remember really disliking this one. The gameplay is boring as heck and really rudimentary and basic. There is also a lot of tentacles in this...pass!

X-Change - I don't like these games. They're alright but people get really weird and force themselves on your main character once their sex changes. These games are pretty popular and sometimes lighthearted at least.

Steins;Gate - It's good and if you want it it's good. Most people think the Vita version is perfect though for this one.

I actually like the lower tier though it should be like $5. Princess Waltz and Steins;Gate are worth plays from the top. Remember many of these are very old games. I remember playing them in high school and I've been out for a while haha. I really did wish they did horny bunnies 1 and 2...they both were fun games.

I think it's more wishful thinking than anything though. 5pb probably never agreed to the contract so I doubt they have to honor it. I believe the same thing happened to DotEmu, but they cracked under pressure.

Maybe, maybe not. I mean I guess there's enough deviant weeboos that pay way too much for nekkid cartoon drawings of underage girls to keep them in business so there's that. But I don't know them and it's a somewhat freaky, though maybe not quite Manga Gamer freaky, niche site and I don't care to know them.

It's not a place I regularly go to or want to regularly go to for downloading my games and I have zero interest in hentai.

And yes I am fine with Origin for EA stuff and Uplay for Ubisoft stuff but both of them are 800 pound gorillas and have very high profile mainstream games that I'll never have to go 'Oh gee I wonder which site I have Assassins Creed or The Sims on'.

It's my understanding that JAST is just one part of a larger company, that the owner is basically running for shits and giggles. Even with their odd business decisions and erratic release schedule that would embarrass VALVE, there is basically a 0% chance that JAST is closing down any time soon.

Having a hard time spending my coins on this JAST VN2 bundle. I'm inclined to agree with Detruire, that the whole thing is shit and I won't be able to resell it for much more than the $5 it'd cost me if I used all my coins.

 
Those games are very old....I'm getting nostalgic thinking of them. They should have kept the $30 tier (because likely contract obligations) but the others should have been $5 and $10 respectively. Luckily I played pretty much all of them other than the x-change already so no need to worry. I remember the last Be Mine Anniversary being poop, and I skipped it and pretty much it was all rebundled in an Indiegala bundle. I will wait and see for this unless very good hinted games are in it.
