Was talking about it last night with spoder, but I was tired then and didn't understand his point. Now I do.

The question was, how is Groupees even making money off this if people are using their $10 Johnnydoesn'tcare coins to buy it? And the answer is that their pricing structure is inflated to compensate. I'm pretty skeptical now that Steins;Gate even has a contract not to sell it for less than $30.

Yeah, they are, and Groupees has to go public before stocks are actually worth anything. Right now it's just Johnny and the 6 other people who run the site who are legitimate employees, lol. I don't know what they have to gain by giving us both fluctuating and non-fluctuating stock options when we don't even work for them.

Are they not doing a pre-order for this one or are they just being fucking lazy about getting it up?

I want Zanny and Blade Reloaded or whatever and Major Contract doesn't look too shitty for a mobile port, but that shit better be in it if I pre-order Spoder. I ain't got time to jump through Poopees guessing game hoops. nikkiminajhairtoss.gif

Dude's wrong, he's looking at the solvers of the first puzzle (unless the fourth puzzle has more solvers than the second or third, I don't know the url to the fourth one).  Later ones have less and less solvers.

I don't know for sure, but I kind of doubt it.

When I checked the first part it was at 236, which was about a half hour after he said 233.

The dpk file, and half a gig file, that he kept complaining about not being able to solve was how you got the link to the fourth part.

From what I could gather you were supposed to inflate the dpk, which gave you the half a gig file. Hidden in the zeros were two sets of non-zeros. One of which (second, based on hints) was an encrypted form of the url for the fourth part. However, to decrypt the url, you needed to reverse engineer the private key. This is where I kinda gave up, because I are maths incarnate.

But I find it funny he called people assholes for not sharing when he said this earlier

Anyone else having problems with Groupees.  I can't seem to preorder nor can I access my purchases.  When I try to post on the support chat, the message says "sending post" and never completes.

Works fine for me.. I wonder if you got locked out by another "security feauture" that they were trying to implement. That happened to me a month or two ago.

Do Groupees bundles actually sell after the preorder anymore? I guess the dollar tier isn't as grotesquely comic as whatever the last one I bought at least. Here's hoping bonus #3 isn't a game (or a "game") and I don't have to care.

 
What? A $4 minimum to get everything? Bleh.

The only things that catch my eye are Zanzarah (Daedalic published, so it'll be bundled a lot), Corrosion, Shadow Blade Reload and Kunoi. Even if Kunoi looks like a NGPC game.

I was being serious. I'm not sure I'd ever be ambitious enough to bother with a print and play game, but that game had a pretty successful kickstarter campaign and has good reviews.

I'm not sure if this is quite the audience for it, however. Neat bonus, but perhaps misplaced.

If you want something to use a Groupees coin on, sure. I don't think the last bonus is a game. It says 8 games + 2 Albums and all of those have already been revealed.

 
Wow... I haven't bought anything from Groupees in a couple of months. I pre-ordered this one, thanks to some of the hints I saw in here, and I have none of the games and some of them look pretty decent. Very un-Groupees.

I feel like a goddamn ninja.
